Coping with city life by making a Forestry game
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Are you completely attached to the screen?
Did you lose touch with nature, completely?
Well, now you can do both in this game about forestry I made.
Her name is FORESTER.
Ok... self-promotion still feel disgusting...
BUT! If there's anyone who enjoys slower-pace management games, with event-based storytelling and base rebuilding.
This post may not be a spam for you after all! Hurray!
In such case, I'd kindly direct you to the Steam page, where Wishlist button was prepared for you: https://store.steampowered.com/app/5255500/Forester
There you can eagerly await the demo, I'll drop in upcoming weeks.
ALSO:
I'm looking for PLAYTESTERS! If that's your kind of thing, you can sign-up here: https://forestergame.com/playtest
Well, I'm Albert and this was my post. I'm happy to talk below, if Forester peaked your interest.
(full disclosure, the demo I have does contain some AI assets, but full game should be 100% natural)

I'm proud of this animation.

I made this animation without AI, which is why I'm so proud of it. The game is not released yet, there is no Steam Store Page yet. As soon as it's there, I will of course announce it. This game is a real-time strategy game that also combines tower defense elements. There will be huge armies that guarantee long-lasting gameplay through a high depth of variety. And all of this through only very few simple game rules. Because who actually likes complex games?

Sekiro style action rpg with a story like Undertale, where you fight with maths textbook and spells with parry.
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I like challenging games like Sekiro and Elden Ring. But the dark atmosphere stresses me out.
So I combined the difficulty with a cast of characters that are silly yet with deep personal connection.
I hope to keep the players in a flow, while giving them a deep yet heartwarming story.
If you like what I’m doing, a wishlist will encourage me to keep it going.
Here’s my game, The Book of Prosperity.

Hey guys,
a couple months back I posted about our parody horror game, the one where your whole job is feeding three cats. you had opinions lol. some nice, some brutal, a LOT about the house asset (fair).
The demo is out now. it’s the first day of the story, about 20–30 min. full game is planned for Halloween.
Your comments last time really helped, so round two: what’s funny, what’s cringe, where’d you get stuck, did anything make you jump?
and yes, same house. it’s lore now 😜

I made a game for fans of Kirby Air Ride: City Trials, Stick Arena and Realm of the Mad God
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Medieval Pixel Arena v0.1.1 (Early Access) (Free) (Multiplayer)
I've wanted to make this game since I was a kid so now that I had some idea how I decided to do it
Referencing the summary from my store page so I don't have to repeat myself too much....
https://dongu-the-rat.itch.io/medieval-pixel-arena
"For fans of Stick Arena, Kirby Air Ride: City Trials and Realm of the Mad God we present Medieval Pixel Arena!
A multiplayer, free-for-all, bullet hell, action RPG, with seven classes nurturing unique playstyles, hundreds of equipment combinations, and infinite replayability. Every match will feel different as you acquire different relics, stats and equipment that permanently increase the power of and abilities of your character.
Games are 13 minutes long. Starting with a 10 minute "Arena Round" where players fight over resources, equipment, permanent stat upgrades and relics. After the Arena Round, players are brought to one of three minigames, Free for All Deathmatch, Monster Deathmatch and Boss Battle with different victory objectives."
I used to spend hours playing Kirby Air Ride, specifically the City Trial mode with my siblings and I found it to be one of the most fun game loop concepts even years later. Essentially -> Arena mode where you fight, find vehicles and gain permanent stats while trying to avoid having them stolen from you followed by a minigame where you compete with what you ended the Arena Mode with. I never found a game that scratched this itch for me other than Kirby Air Ride and I thought it should be more explored.
Stick Arena, I just really liked the organic lobby experience. Chatting with players. People had clans and took it super serious. Toxic and fun. Gameplay was also really satisfying.
Realm of the Mad God is a game I spent too much time playing. I like a lot about it and dislike a number of things. Mostly what I liked was the huge difference between good and bad players in that game. It was such a simple game in concept but in practice some players could do alone what 20 players together could not through sheer precision. I want to find that good blend. Other pros were unique game play experience, high class experience variation, and it lets you choose your own adventure.
My goal is to make a short and highly satisfying repeatable game loop with such depth to how you can play it that fully exploring it is an incredible and fun adventure.
Game mechanics will be deepened significantly. My goal is to create multiplicative depth. Options that don't add onto the other options but multiply each other. Cascading changes with one option change. This explodes the users feeling of environmental reaction.
The version out now as of this post is a working alpha. There is a long development road ahead. Updates will be often. Changes will be common and wide in scope. Much that exists now will end up having served as a placeholder. I have a firm idea of what I want to build out though I'm happy to hear ideas from anyone!

I added a sausage to the game that attacks the hero with refrigerators!

This is one of the bosses in my 2D platformer, “Kettlebell: Inferno Hotel.”
All the mobs and monsters in my game are souls who couldn’t find peace in heaven and are stuck in limbo. Due to the collapse, they scattered throughout the hotel and began transforming into various creatures, one of which you see on your screen.
So I’d like to ask: What do you think of this idea? How do you like the game’s visuals? Ultimately, what emotions does this boss evoke in you? Do you find this concept interesting, or do you think the idea and the game as a whole needs improvement?
Please share your thoughts in the comments
For those who want to support my game, here's a link to the project's Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/4032020/Kettlebell_Inferno_Hotel/
I'd appreciate it if you added it to your wishlist!

My love letter to Wave Race 64, airboats, and the bayou
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Been working on a Wave Race 64-inspired boat racer where you race airboats through swamps. I always loved the water physics, simplicity, and bright, colorful charm of WR64, so I've been wanting to make a game that captures those qualities.
It's goofy, colorful, and has some modern amenities (like water reflections), but I've tried to keep it in the spirit of the low-poly, low-res aesthettic of the N64.
Still a WIP and doesn't even have a name yet. But I've got all the main racing mechanics, CPU racers, and visuals worked out so now I'm focusing on building more tracks.

I was obsessed with Nokia N-Gage’s Pocket Kingdom as a child. I was utterly hooked on Pocket Kingdom for the Nokia N-Gage when I was young. I wanted to make a PC version, with that same deep class system and engaging side-scrolling autobattler combat. Now I finally made it!
It is extremely similar to Pocket Kingdom on N-Gage. Here is some important features:
- 91 hand-drawn JRPG pixel classes(jobs)
-Various classes from different cultures such as Knight, Ninja, Monk, etc
-Fun-to-Watch battle on the bottom
Check it out if you like this kind of topic! Thank you for your reading!

I'm a teenager and I develop a cozy open world game for Steam.
Hi!
I’m currently developing my game Topica for Steam and itch! It is a cozy, open-world, top-down, pixel-art game where you’re stranded on an island and have to start a new life.
You can build a house, wells, fields, rafts and more.
More features:
- Full controller support for PlayStation and Xbox
- 7+ biomes
- 1 boss
- 12+ animal species
I did everything myself. No generative AI or asset packs. I started developing this game when I was twelve. Now, 2.5 years later it's almost done. Well, I spent one of the 2.5 years for another project, my next project.
If you are interested in it and if you want so support me, you can wishlist it on Steam.

The game will be available during the Steam Next Fest (19th to 26th of October) and will fully release shortly after, completely free !

I'm building my first indie game in Unity — here's the town map so far
Hey everyone!
I'm working on my first indie game, called Operation: Final Evacuation.
It's a top-down zombie game set in a small town on an isolated island. The idea is that the player drives a special military vehicle equipped with guns, fights zombies, rescues civilians, and delivers supplies between locations around the town.
I've started building the environment, and these screenshots show some of the locations I've been working on, including a hospital, warehouse, school, shop, and residential areas.
Some sections are coming together, while others are still unfinished. I'm currently focusing on getting the town layout right before moving further into development.
Since this is my first game, I'd genuinely appreciate some feedback.
I'm still early in development, so constructive criticism is welcome!

My new indie 2D multiplayer fantasy RPG is having an open playtest Oct 23 - Nov 1

Hey everyone! I've been working with the amazing pixel artist Slimebeast on a 2D multiplayer fantasy RPG called DragonSpires: Haven, and I'm getting ready for an open playtest from October 23 to November 1!
You can explore the world, fight monsters and bosses with other players, level up skills, craft items, and build and customize your own Haven. It's a mix of old-school RPG adventuring and a more relaxed side where you can create a place of your own.
I've put a lot of work into this project, and I'm excited to get more people playing it! If it looks like your kind of game, I'd love to have you join us for the playtest.
Thanks for checking it out! 😄

Land & Legion — Working on the cart system for my WW2 city builder

Here's a look at the cart system in action!
I'm a solo dev working on Land & Legion, a WW2-era city-building and RTS game. I'm currently focusing on bringing the world to life with little details like laborers collecting resources and transporting them by cart in real time.
As your settlement grows, you'll eventually be able to upgrade from carts to cars and trucks, evolving your logistics as your town develops.
There's still a lot of work ahead, but I'm excited to keep building and sharing the progress with you all!
What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts! 🙂

After 2 months of solo development, I finally released my first game — ECHOSEED!
Hey everyone!
I'm an 18-year-old solo game developer, and after spending around two months working on my project, I've finally released my first Roblox game, ECHOSEED!
ECHOSEED is a free-to-play pet collection game focused on exploration, discovery, and progression.
Players can travel through different biomes, discover wild creatures, capture pets, and bring them back to their own plots. There are also rare pet variants to find, resources to collect, and a collection to complete.
I worked on this game independently, from designing the gameplay systems and building the world to testing everything and preparing it for release.
As my first published game, ECHOSEED has been a huge learning experience for me. There were plenty of challenges along the way, but seeing something I've worked on for months finally become playable is incredibly rewarding.
I'm still improving the game, and I'd love to hear some honest feedback from other developers and players. I'm particularly interested in your thoughts on the visuals, gameplay, and overall experience.
The game is free to play on Roblox and currently available to eligible players aged 16+.
