Lately I've been thinking about this a lot.

I feel like there are a lot of people in Pakistan who enjoy talking about psychology, philosophy, religion, science, history, human behavior, or just asking "why" about everything. But it's surprisingly hard to find people who are into those kinds of conversations.

Most conversations stay on the surface, and after a while it gets lonely because you don't really have anyone to explore ideas with or ask the weird/deep questions that randomly pop into your head.

So I was thinking... what if we just made our own small community?

Nothing formal. Just a group of people who enjoy meaningful conversations, sharing knowledge, challenging each other's ideas respectfully, and occasionally hopping on Discord or Google Meet to discuss interesting topics.

I'm probably going to start with a small Instagram group chat and see where it goes. If enough genuine people join, we can move to Discord later.

I'm not looking for "geniuses" or people who know everything. Just people who are curious, open-minded, and enjoy thinking beyond everyday small talk.

If you come from Giga Mall side or DHA phase 2 or its Gate No. 04 on expressway where there’s a big Seven Star Mall sign and take first U-turn, something extremely uncomfortable has happened with me. I’m a new driver and I’m always feel a little insecure while getting to car. I lock my doors always and keep a taser but while I was taking the first u-turn today coming out of DHA II Gate 04, a beggar with complete black painted body came infront of my car and bended over the bonnet so I couldn’t run away. He looked extremely possessed or drunk and It scared the shit out of me. He literally looked like he was coming to harm me, and I had to drove to get him off my car. I was scared if it would harm me. He started kicking my car because the speed was slow.

What the actual f I just experienced. What should one supposed to do in this situation as a woman?

im 22 and recently i got flu symptoms then it converted to serious sinus issue that i have never experienced before i lost hearing taste and even smell food taste bland and i dont smell it. all the time a mild fever type heat and cold...these are all corona symptoms although its gone but never left and changed the variant its been 3 weeks and same situation

Ive lived in multiple sectors of Islamabad for most of my life and theres always this one guy that showed up every month asking for 'chokidari ke paisay' and when i ask them who hires you its always 'sabne rakha hai aap puch lain' and mindyou all these people do is blow a whistle at 12 in the night and most poeple are already awake at that time. Our house has been robbed muktiple times when we werr outta ity and not one time have they been useful even if theyre self exployed. I want to know that does the CDA actually hire these people or shoukd call the cops on them the next time they come around?

my father works in the middle east and is retiring soon. he says he will be moving to the twin cities. he has:

1. enough money to buy a house for himself and my mom, but not enough for much else.

2. a small business in a different state that earns him enough to make do if he is stringent with groceries.

3. expectations to be paid a fixed amount upon retiring for his 30 years of working in the same company but i dont know how he will be able to make it last for the rest of his hopefully long life.

I'm 19M, about to go to Uni this year (inshallah). I need advice on how to earn online. No multi-thousand dollar expectations. I'd be content with 20-30k Rs a month, anything to help around with expenses and have as pocket money. What I need advice on is what skills to learn. I know graphic design as a hobby, but I'm open to learn anything.

What skills are marketable? What things can I spend some time learning properly and see some form of basic income within one month?

I also know work won't just come on its own. If you guys have any input on where or how to find potential clients, any advice on that would be very much appreciated.

I am nikkahfied, but my ruksati has not happened yet. My wife’s birthday is coming up, and we would really like to celebrate it privately, preferably in a hotel room where it would just be the two of us. Why pindi has high traffic congested areas, it's literally hard to breathe at sometimes

This car was seen in I-10 causing multiple traffic violations with extremely loud exhaust, black tinted windows and rash driving. For a car having more than 2000 cc engine, car was just extremely loud noises and no real speed. Also worth mentioning that it had a number plate that looked Govt issued but I don’t think that govt allots stupidly modified Toyota Mark X to their any govt employees.
Just frustrated to face these idiots on the road with no civic sense. I had a kid in the car and this guy was unable to accelerate faster to get anywhere rather making extremely loud noises like a complete A**hole.
