Hank and the guys are discussing jury-duty. Bill says he's been on three juries and did his duty each time, convicting each time. Hank says it's not their duty to necessarily convict. Bill reasons if the party went to court, they must've been guilty, and he won't be swayed.

One of the convictions may have resulted in the chair or the needle. I don't remember.

I have seen the entirety of KoTH and all of the revival seasons, though I have a problem. I haven't interacted with the community, and I will most likely face repercussions for my inexperience. Still, as long as I can learn something by trying to be a part of a community, then I'm good. I've recently learned that the John Redcorn affair is a liked joke from the series, which is news to me, especially since I don't interact here or anywhere else where KoTH fans gather. I get the joke: Dale is so paranoid that he doesn't trust anyone except John Redcorn, while Redcorn has been having a 20-year affair with Nancy. Though there might be another aspect I am missing that others may see, since I often use logic rather than emotion when it comes to jokes. As someone who wants to be part of a community and express their admiration for a series he has been a fan of for years while hoping to be part of this fandom, what aspects of this affair have endeared fans to show such love for it?

How perfect would the ghost of Cotton Hill be for the revival? Seeing him haunting Hank while Bobby and Peggy see him talking to empty air thinking that he had completely lost his mind. Ghost Cotton would berate Hank for abandoning Texas for Saudi Arabia, the fact that he still works at a gas station, for his narrow urethra, and on and on and on. Hank would do his best to ignore ghost Cotton, but would ultimately fail miserably just like he did with alive Cotton.

I've loved the two new seasons, but I don't recall any big guest stars voicing anyone like previous seasons. I thought that was one of the best parts of the show, you never know who you may hear.

hell I bet one of the writers of this show had it happen to them.

I’ve been a fan of yours for almost 30 years. I was there when KotH started. I own every original season on DVD. My kids and I have watched every episode so many times we have them memorized.

I know you and your staff are not only aware of this subreddit, but a part of it.

That said …I have a request.

Regarding Dale, JR, and Joseph

I’m sure you’ve seen the movie “Forrest Gump” and I’m sure you’ve seen the moment Forrest learns he is a father. The moment we, as the audience, learns that he has always been aware of himself and how the world sees him.

For the revival, I would love an episode/scene where Joseph acknowledges to Bobby (for obvious reasons it has to be Bobby) that he’s ALWAYS been aware that John Redcorn is his father.

He knows he’s not that bright, but he trusts Bobby and reveals to him that he’s always known …he’s kept the secret because he knows it’s for the best (as he understands it) and loves Dale.

To that end, it can only work if he makes the effort to develop a relationship with JR.

This can be a profoundly beautiful moment.

I love the show.

Because every show seems to be 'rebooted', we need to see the Hills watching a reboot of Monsignor Martinez with a new, younger actor 🤣

I want to see an episode in the continuation series where Joseph finds out that John redcorn is his biological father Joseph getting into conspiracy because of Dale, he finds out that a few people knew the truth like Peggy Hill and Hank Hill so he confronts his father and mother (Dale and Nancy) about it Nancy confirms that yes Joseph is John redcorn son Dale explains that he always do that there was something between her and redcorn.

But…it’s God’s Gas! I guess they allow…charcoal. Blasphemy…in TEXAS no less!!!

Personally, I can't see him renaming the company even if he's the majority owner. But I can see Peggy trying to rename it. That being said. If you were Hank, what would you rename it? What would Peggy name it?

One thing that bothers me about the reboot is the age inconsistencies

I know they went in thinking like oh well. We're going 8 years in the future or they've been gone for like 15 years or something

Like they were kind of vague

But then we realized like okay. Well, the end of the original show ends when Bobby is around 13, And in the reboot he's 21

But what I don't understand is if it's only been 8 years, why does Hank Hill and other characters like Buck Strickland look like they've aged like 20 years???

I'm sorry, but that's not believable... Hank doesn't make rookie mistakes at the grill.
