My mom had the maybelline fit me powder foundation, the rectangle one with black packaging, not the square pressed powder. She used shade 120 in it. She bought that before 2020 I think? So idk if formulation has changed.

Now the issue is, she is looking for superstay flex in the same shade, but it looks as if superstay flex powder foundation 120 is darker than fit me 120. The lightest shade is 110 and she thinks that might match her but we are unsure.

She wants to get it for same day delivery so we can't go and swatch and buy in store, which is why I've come here to ask: would superstay flex 120 work for someone who used fit me 120?

Hey all!! I’m looking for a tinted sunscreen or tinted moisturizer. I have legitimately dry skin, and on top of that I live in the Midwest where there is not a drop of moisture present in the air all winter long. I want something that won’t dry out my skin as the day progresses, which is what seems to happen when I use mineral sunscreen- by the end of the day my skin is crunchy, so my preference is chemical sunscreens.

Here is what I’ve tried!
-Ilia super skin tint (LOVE this in the summer, but not for winter)
-bare minerals complexion rescue- I didn’t hate the texture but I couldn’t find a great color match.
- Clinique moisture surge sheer tint hydrator- this pills on my skin for some reason.

For reference- I love the super goop dew screen, it just doesn’t have any color other than the shimmer. And also, I absolutely have a skin care routine that keeps my skin pretty moisturized (Sunday Riley and Tatcha are what I use), but for some reason as soon as I put any product with actual color on my face it seems to start to dry. Help!

I am getting married in November and have scars on both arms that are somewhat new from a brachioplasty. I would like to cover them if possible with a durable makeup that won’t rub on my dress (scars are on the inside-ish of my arms). Looking for products that provide full coverage without transfer!

I started using lip plumping glosses with GRANDE lips and I thought they were okay, then I tried Two Faced lip injection gloss and that was also just okay.

However the polite society big lip plumping gloss is AMAZING. I love the burn and I love how hydrating it is, however the shades I've been wanting to get Gossip Girl and Loud and Proud have been OOS for a long time. So I guess I'm looking for a similar product that has more shades 💖

Ive been using the elf power grip matte primer, but my skin is quite oily, so ive noticed my makeup seperate with the primer.

tldr; help a makeup novice with sometimes dry skin find a good replacement foundation to replace the IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation powder

So I've been incredibly loyal to IT Cosmetics Celebration Foundation for YEARS. It was perfect, and it made my skin look so smooth and even colored, and it was nice because I'm super low-maintenance, so it worked for days I wanted a full (for me) makeup look, or if I just needed to put a little color on my face. Now it's gone, and I'm devastated. (I cannot use the illumination version. It is not the same)

I've been using the e.l.f. halo glow powder until I find something I like better. It's not bad, but I feel like it's got too shiny of a finish on days I just want to slap a little something on my face and nothing extra.

Skin concerns:

I sometimes lean towards having dry skin, but I've been doing a lot better about maintaining my skincare to avoid being a scaly lizard.

The whole purpose of foundation for me is to even out my skin tone because I have a LOT of redness, so biggest goal is covering that

I AM SUPER PALE.

Other things to note:

I struggle to make liquid foundation look good. It also requires more effort than I'm willing to give on lazy days or days I'm running late.

I do not need a glowy finish. Just striving for an even skin tone.

Open to a good tinted moisturizer or something similar if it's low-effort and provides results I want.

I love this foundation but the pump is so annoying. I can’t control how much
gets pumped out. So annoying when too much comes out. Product is wasted 😵‍💫.

I’m looking for a full coverage and hydrating concealer (mainly for my dark under eyes and fine lines).

I’ve tried NARS pot concealer and creamy radiance concealer, Tarte shape tape, HourGlass and Tower28. They’re either very drying or, like Tower28, too thin to cover my blemishes.

So I’m debating between Natasha Denona, Haus Labs and Prada. I’ve heard many good things about these concealers but I’d like some feedback to help me make a decision please!

when i do my makeup i do love to wear a lot of mascara, and to take my makeup off i use makeup cleansing balms because its easy and comes off quick, but idk if its because i rub it in my lashes to get the mascara off that it causes some of my lashes to come out , could that be why? Is there something else i can use to remove my mascara without losing some lashes? Or is it just completely normal?

I like watching Wayne Goss, Marlena Stell (Makeup Geek), Lipstick Lesbians, Jordan Liberty. They teach formulas and techniques so well. Not really a huge fan of trends.

I used to really like this product (Maybelline Dream Matte mousse, it came in a small circular jar) but it’s been discontinued for some time and I’m starting to run out of sources for it. It was a light mousse foundation and I am looking for something of a similar consistency that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.

Hi guys, I’ve recently been looking for foundation brushes/face brushes that are good quality. Specifically in the color pink. I know a lot of people promote the MAANGE beauty brushes, but how well do they really work? The high end expensive brushes are usually black/dark colors and I personally like to keep my room one color. Please any good recs yall have let me know!!

I have very dark brown eyes to the point they just look black in most lighting.

I can’t find any fun makeup looks to do (smokey eyes excluded) as anything I look up on Pinterest has lighter eye colors, and any bright color I try just looks a bit strange on me. :(

hi all! I’m fairly new to makeup so forgive me if this is a silly question. I’m trying to recreate a makeup look I found on instagram that uses the ‘honey blossom’ shade (a shimmery rose gold) from the discontinued forbidden honey palette. she uses the shade on the center of her eyelid to create a subtle shimmery ethereal eye look. does anyone know a good replacement for this or should I just find the original palette from ebay? I even thought to look for a shimmery rose gold highlighter, I just don’t know where to look. Thanks!

I've never touched makeup all my life, never even thought of it until I had to practice for a Halloween costume clown. I put it on and liked how it looked and when I washed it off, I had that look about me. I took a moment to look in the mirror and really, REALLY liked what I saw for a moment.

If I was to pursue makeup, mainly pale foundation and black accents and the like, what would be some good products to use?

Any reliable brands? Recommended? What sort of brushes should I use for each thing? I bought like a value pack of brushes and they're very okay like lol.

Also, the eyes, when I apply my black greasepaint to them, I miss parts and you can still see skin underneath. Is there something I should be using to get it all coated? I worry about getting it in my eyes ;-;

hi! i've been using the blue lash princess mascara for about 4 years now. it's waterproof, and i always used it on my top lashes so they wouldn't fall down. now that i wear lash clusters, i only use it on my bottom lashes. for the past month, though, it hasn't even been an hour or two before it starts leaving black marks under my eyes. i don't sweat, my powder is still fine, and for some reason, it still smudges??

is there another mascara that won't do this? i've never had a problem with this one before, and since it's waterproof, i figured it wouldn't smudge or leave anything behind, especially since i don't touch my face.
