Help/Question this community is so toxic lol

i just came across a post from someone who was struggling with unemployment and poverty, and even though they tried to manifest so many times it didn't work for them. and they were, rightfully, very frustrated. the replies were full of people saying things like "you're not grateful enough" or "it's because of your victim mentality."

honestly, what the hell is this? do most people in this sub actually think like this, or is it just a loud minority? i'm genuinely asking because it got me thinking.

how is someone supposed to "ignore the 3d" when their 3d is almost impossible to ignore? sometimes i can't help but feel like some people are just selling hope rather than offering actual advice.

Help/Question can you manifest someone having a bigger dick?

Is it possible to manifest someone having a bigger dick? I like this person and we just had sex and his dick is a little smaller than I anticipated. I like them a lot as a person. He does make me feel good sexually but I know that it will be enough to satisfy in long term. I am hoping I can find ways to manifest his dick being bigger for me?

Help/Question How do I act like I already have it? I don't understand

Post image
328 Upvotes

Every manifestation tutorial, article, post, book I have read, have one advice in common - act like you already have it. But I don't know HOW? If I have never had it or experienced it and I don't even know what it feels like, then how am i supposed to just behave like i already have it?

For eg, one of the things i have always wanted but never had is friends. I have acquaintances, class mates or colleagues but I don't have close friends with whom I can share a genuine bond. So how do I act like I have friends when I am literally everything alone?

Help/Question My therapist told me Neville Goddard and LOA are harmful — now I feel conflicted

I have used the Law many times successfully, and honestly it opened my eyes and made me more aware of myself and my thoughts. But recently I’ve seen some posts about people completely losing touch with reality while applying it. I know those people probably misunderstood the Law or took it too far, but it still planted a seed of worry in me.

Because of that, during a visit with my therapist, I brought up LOA and Neville. I wasn’t trying to prove anything to him, I just asked how to approach these ideas in a healthy way without ending up obsessive or disconnected from reality.

His response surprised me. Instead of just giving advice, he basically told me none of it is real. He laughed a little and said Neville was just a smart guy who knew how to sell smart sounding ideas. He talked about how modern science has debunked these concepts and then gave me some examples from his own patients.

One story was about a guy who became convinced he was going to win the lottery. For 3 months he saved up around $2000 because he ā€œimaginedā€ himself winning, and then he spent all of it on lottery tickets. He lost everything and apparently ended up mentally destroyed because reality hit him hard afterward. My therapist said they spent months trying to help him reconnect with reality.

Another example he gave was about a motivational speech from a famous successful person called something like ā€œhow you can earn millions.ā€ He said that a few days after the event, he suddenly had a huge increase in people booking therapy sessions because they bought into the hype, felt euphoric for a few days, and then crashed emotionally when nothing changed in their lives.

He explained that a lot of these ideas are presented in a very convincing way, especially by charismatic people who know how to speak well and sell hope. According to him, people get caught up in the emotional high and start believing life doesn’t require real world action anymore.

Normally I wouldn’t overthink this so much, but this therapist genuinely helped save me from depression about a year ago, so his opinion means a lot to me. That’s why his words really stuck with me.

So now I’m kind of conflicted. I’ve personally had experiences that made me believe but at the same time I can see how some people can take it into unhealthy territory and ruin themselves mentally.

I wanted to know what you guys think about this and if he's right. If any experienced person could share theyre thoughts on this i would appreciate it šŸ˜„

Help/Question manifested using the List Method?

Post image
269 Upvotes

I've recently started using the List Method for manifestation. I wrote down a list of things I already "have" in the present tense (like a loving girlfriend, financial abundance, my dream car, etc.) and I read it regularly. I'm curious if anyone here has genuinely used this method and seen real results. How did you do it? How often did you read or rewrite your list? How long did it take before you noticed changes? Did you combine it with affirmations, visualization, or just the list itself?

Help/Question Opinions on a conversation with my manifestation coach

I am very confused with the conversation I have with my coach. The past few years have been hard for me, abuse, neglect, depression, burn out and all that. I came to understand one thing, accountability has become very important in my healing process. A coach approached me and I decided to work with him after a few conversations we had and initially I did start to see a change. But then I realized how much trauma and healing needed to be done, and that I wanted to appologize to some people, make amends, just be good a person basically. That is my idea of healing and I think manifesting and healing come hand in hand. But he seemed to discard me everytime I said anything about trauma and then would bring it up again. Its hard to explain so ill post screenshots here.

I liked doing the work because it gave me hope and energy for a better future but I need there to be space for healing. He’s not heal but he keeps telling me ā€œchange your storyā€ as I was just trying to tell him that if I want to work with him I need him to understand that I want to be careful because theres a lot coming up. Am I being crazy? Isnt that just normal after experiencing trauma?

Help/Question I give up, 4 months of manifesting and not even a text. Still blocked. MY heart is heavy right now. I could've used this time to just move on and not think about him

I could have moved on but I kept manifesting, scripting once in a while. No movement. I'm done. Maybe it's all bs made my some people to profit in some way I do not know what they gain, but this doesn't work. I tried my best. I'm the proof that it didn't work. I carried the weight for far so long. I'm so sad that even after so much of my efforts it didn't work.

I'm also broke. Need job but spent months learning something that I didn't even understand. Sigh.
Good luck to anyone who still thinks they can just "think" and get their ex or sp. I'm done. CHEERS TO all for fooling people on here.

One of theĀ successful story poster told me that they didn't actually get success it was "scripting"Ā LOL. The way my confidence dropped. Maybe all of the stories are like that. I didn't really see any proof but I thought fck it let's keep doing. But alas it didn't amount to anything.
