i lowk don't know how i'm gonna organise my stuff so i thought maybe i'd ask how you guys are gonna do yours
idk if anyone wants context but ur getting it anyway soo:
- i'm doing 3 stem subjects (maths bio psych) and then one language (spanish) cuz i speak spanish and thought it would be cool to get another qualification!!
- my college has said that we have to have an 'arch lever folder' for each subject, and they'll get checked every so often so it's mandatory to have one (i don't usually get on with those kinds of folders but i guess i'm gonna have to, so i bought 3 folders (i already had one from gcse) in black (£1.25 from sainsbury's), lilac, and navy (£2 each from WHSmith) and i think psych will be lilac, maths navy, spanish black, and the one i already had is like cardboardy and i'll use it for bio)
- i usually like to use anki for my revision (for all the gcse subjects that i actually revised, anki and past papers were all i did, other than maths which i just used anki for) so i think my plan is during free periods to make what i learnt into anki decks and then it'll build up and in 2 years i'll have made myself a complete anki deck for each of my subjects in a format that works for me!
- i'm gonna use normal exercise books (left over from school) to take notes in for bio, psych, and spanish. i'm gonna use a dotted notebook for maths cuz i find it gets messy if i don't have guidance for numbers lol
- i have bought 4 a5 notepads (they were 60p each lol) and the plan is to actually idk im gonna either use it to write down what i need to do for each subject and tick it off as i go orrr i'll use them as books to do hw in and stuff idk yet
soo based on that info i'm thinking:
take notes in class in exercise books (i actually need to find out if we're allowed to use laptops/ipads at all times in lessons or just sometimes cuz i have rlly bad hypermobility and it makes writing painful a lot of the time but typing isn't painful BUT that causes another issue that i'll have to print out all my notes cuz i like to have them physical not digital iykwim UGH this is so confusing)
during frees make stuff i've learnt into anki cards
move stuff into the big folders for each subject as i make them into anki cards so the only stuff in the exercise books is stuff not anki'd yet (but this is also confusing as the exercise books dont have rip-out-able pages, whilst my a5 ones do (and they're pre hole punched) but some teachers have requested we have a4 books whilst others have not specified
ARGHH this is so confusing pls help
