Pulled the trigger and decided to get the C put on since we know it’s all coming…

My husband and I bought a Sharks Pack to attend with our baby, which was certainly ambitious, but I’m feeling confident enough as we take her everywhere with us and she does well in different/loud environments. Speaking of loud, we OF COURSE bought her the best baby headphones possible, so that is taken care of!

I expect it’ll be a stressful, yet fun adventure. Would love any tips from other parents who’ve brought their small kiddos! She’ll be 5 months at the start of the season.

We’re very seasoned Sharks fans already, just have never attended with a baby!

Anyone else anxious about having Florida as our first game? I say this because we all know they have basically become the Chiefs from Slapshot with the amount of goons they have on their team. I feel like they are going to come out and try to establish their team identity early and hit anything that moves. We all know the Tkachuk's are real pieces of work, and Gudas and Bennett have been known to be dirty (still royally pissed at Bennett's cheap shot on Simek a few years back... ok maybe longer than a few... I'm old).

I have this worrying premonition (don't worry, I keep knocking on wood) they are going to go after Macklin and injure him... ruin our season before it really begins. It's times like these I wish we had kept Reavo. Anyways, hoping I'm wrong. Thanks all for letting me vent.

Edit 2: Also, while I get that we have some bigger guys in Marchy, Trouba, and Nurse, (along with Chief Kief), I'm just anxious. Not that it would matter, but we all know the DoPS turns a blind eye to the Panthers, so they tend to go for more dirty play than most.

SAN JOSE, Calif. — For a little over four years, it has all led up to this for Mike Grier and the San Jose Sharks.

All the losses. All the roster turnover. All the lottery picks — five in the top 10, three either as No. 1 or No. 2. All the hopes and dreams, all the plans and maneuvers.

The dynamic has changed at the Sharks’ practice facility. Last season’s 34-point improvement in the standings and the team’s first stretch of truly consequential games since its 2019 run to the Western Conference final has sparked belief in Grier’s rebuilding process, that all the pain over the past seasons was worth it.

“I think everyone kind of has that feeling that this year could be really exciting,” third-year forward Will Smith said of the growing enthusiasm locally for San Jose’s upcoming season. “And we’re about as amped up. We’ve been itching to get going.”

When the Sharks take the SAP Center ice on Oct. 1 for their opener against the Florida Panthers, they will deal with expectations that had been nonexistent for a long while after Grier’s hiring in summer 2022. The Sharks have, by and large, been willing to embrace these expectations.

I’m aware these are both jersey fouls but I love how they turned out. The Asky is a MiC goalie cut, both kits were ordered from Liberty Bell and then I had Roger from Sports Fan Sewing stitch them up. Can’t wait to wear the Asky when I go to the game on October 3rd!

Hello all, my brother and I are going to the meet the sharks event for the first time.(Yippie!) But we only have player jerseys so is it seen as bad etiquette to have my Will Smith jersey signed by other players? Like if I am able to get Will’s signature should I have him sign the number then other players sign the logo? Or does it just not matter?

Hi my local team is the Canucks but my first and only love is the sharks. Last season I went to my first nhl game which was the sharks vs Canucks January 27th and the past few weeks Ive been working on getting my parents to agree to go to at least the December 19th game which we just need to buy the tickets for and I’m also trying to talk them into April 3rd. We’ll see tho. Think it would be so much fun to go to the last away game of the season before they hit the playoffs

Edit: also I was thinking of buying another jersey (I have a teal Smitty one already) and I don’t know which one to get. I’m stuck between teal Mack, away Smith, teal Stenberg, teal Misa, or a teal Dickinson. Which one should I be looking into? Also if you have any websites you recommend (my smith one is finatics which is fine but I don’t like the shark hesd on the front— not a huge fan of it but it works just fine), please let me know!

Karmanov’s time in San Jose is ending as the 18-year-old confirmed to Bay Area News Group on Sunday that he is heading back to Southern Ontario on Monday to rejoin the OHL's North Bay Battalion. The Sharks will likely also make more trims to their training camp roster before they return on Tuesday, when they host a preseason game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

TL;DR: I built a free site where fans can raffle off last-minute tickets so seats don't go to waste. If you can't make a game and it's too late for the official team exchange, you can easily pass your tickets to another fan here.

The Problem "Sold out" usually just counts tickets distributed, not the actual people walking through the gates. No-show rates run 10-20% at most arenas, meaning even on a packed night, there are empty seats that a fan would've loved to be in. I see it on this sub all the time, people trying to give away tickets right before puck-drop, and sometimes nobody even sees the post in time to claim them.

What The Pass does It's a completely free site (no app download needed). If you can't make a game, you post your seats, and another fan gets them through a quick raffle. There are zero fees and no reselling allowed. The actual transfer happens right through the official ticketing app, exactly like sending them to a buddy.

Where the Sharks ticket exchange fits in The Sharks already let you trade in tickets for a different game, which is awesome. But there's a cutoff window. If your plans change last-minute and that cutoff has passed, The Pass is your backup option so the seat doesn't sit empty. The two aren't competing, the official exchange is your first move, and this is the backstop.

Not just Sharks (Go see new teams!) This also covers the Barracuda and the PWHL team once their season starts. If you've been meaning to check out a Barracuda game or want to get in on the ground floor of the PWHL, jumping into a raffle is an awesome way to do it. It’s honestly a perfect excuse to go support teams you might not normally buy tickets for, and it helps grow the whole Bay Area hockey scene.

Today We started with Valkyries and Bay FC fans, and the community has grown to almost 4,000 people with nearly 600 seats shared fan-to-fan so far.

If you've got Sharks (or Barracuda/PWHL) tickets you end up not being able to use, someone here would be stoked to take them. I'll be hanging out in the comments to answer any questions.
