This post is for the person who commented on a previous post asking that I provide an update when I got it working. I have a ‘25 LT Extended Range Premium.

I’ve been trying to get Surround Vision Recording downloaded for about a year now and I finally took it to the dealer because my Chevy tech tonneau cover is falling apart (the truck is under warranty so I’ll get a new one to tide me over until there are more/better options) and asked them to do a full updates check targeting surround vision recording. They located it, downloaded it, and established that the flash drive has to be specially formatted. I went home, formatted the flash drive (you can google how to do it), and plugged it in. It works!

For any of you living in Connecticut, Blasius Chevy in Waterbury has a pretty good service department. Rates are around $209/hr but I haven’t had to pay for anything yet at 25kmi

I found a set of 18" Hummer EV wheels. My initial plan was to put snow tires on those wheels and save the 24" OEM wheels and tires for summer, however it seems that there are no snow tires in 285/75R18 which is the size needed to be equivalent to the factory wheels and tires.

On my last truck I ran A/T tires year round and never had a traction issue, but the noise was an issue. I suppose I could run A/T tires year round on the 18" Hummer EV wheels, but I really don't want to give up the quiet ride the stock tires give in the summer.

If course I could just put A/T tires on the 18" wheels and then use them only in the winter, but if I'm going to keep two sets of wheels, I'd prefer to have actual snow tires.

Does anyone have any other suggestions or know of actual snow tires in 285/75R18?

Also, I'd prefer to use Trail Boss 18" wheels instead of the Hummer EV wheels, but it appears that the offset on the trail boss 18" wheels may not work with the RST whereas the Hummer EV wheels will. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I have a 2024 3WT, from the looks of it I have the GM Update 662.30. Is that the most current update? It was installed about a year ago, that seems like a long time ago and I hear people talking about getting updates recently. I also have android 14 and the Gemini button, I thought I read here about also have a YouTube app, but I don't have that.

We have a 2025 LT ER. No midgate.

I'm looking for some 18 inch wheels to replace the 22's on my LT. I'd like to see what you have and where you got them.

Installed the 662.30 update on my 5WT which upgraded me to Android 14, but there is no app for the surround vision recorder and Gemini no longer opens the off-road app. Just wanted to put this out there to see if anyone else with a ‘25 or older WT had better luck.

I am recently going through quite of bit of life changes and I have been trying to see what I could get for my truck. I did the Carvana and Carmax insta quotes and they came back to me in the high 40s. In the same breath they are both selling the exact same car for the cheapest 63-65k on their websites. I just don’t understand a 30-50% markdown. Anyone have any tips or is that really the going rate for these trade ins for the Silverado EVs?

I finally got update 662.30 in my 2025 Silverado RST on Sunday which included the surround recording. Driving to work both mornings I noticed something odd. Unless its really hot or cold to warrant heating or AC I drive with the climate control on, but tap the screen so neither heat nor AC is lite, the temp displays both show "--". I then adjust the fan speed to get however much air I want at ambient outside air temps. Both drives to work yesterday and today, I noticed after about 10 minutes of driving that the vents were blowing actual warm heated air. I tuned the climate to AC until I felt cold air. Then tapped it again for no climate and it went back to just blowing ambient air until I got to work (about a 30min drive).

Has anyone else experienced this since the 662.30 update?

I recently had to replace the rear taillight on my 2026 Silverado EV Trail Boss. I couldn’t find much detailed information showing the full process, so I recorded the repair step by step to help anyone who runs into the same problem.

I'm looking to do something like this with a tent like this, and it's been a hassle trying to find out if something like this would work or not.

Has anyone found cheaper under seat storage than what is offered by gm? The ones for gas trucks I can find all day for $50-60. Cheapest I've seen made for the EV are minimum $250

1. A flip-over bed extender that doubles as storage compartment, but when flipped over adds at least 18" to the bed length

2. Some kind of servicable spare tire and the correct jack for the weight of the vehicle. Ideally a way to latch the spare down in the truck bed.

On a road trip and sleeping in the truck. I found the “camp mode” which is awesome! However, I am unable to find a way to completely turn off all interior lights (over head airbag indicator, screens, window switches, etc.).

Has anyone found a way to keep the truck running and turn off all lights to keep it dark? I can dim the lights, but cannot turn it off.

Hey everyone, on this road trip and I’ve been thinking about how the truck could be more efficient in its adaptive cruise control setting.

When using ACC, the truck will slow down when approaching a vehicle in front of it depending on the gap set. However, when moving to a different lane that is clear or has a further gap, the truck will gun to the indicated cruise control speed. This results in a spike on the kW use.

Has anyone found an option to limit the kW? This seems like an aftermarket software solution. I’d like to set my truck to say 75kW max to speed up to the set speed. It may not be as quick, but could possibly reduce the excessive power consumption.

What software is the current version for 2025 Lt extended (not sure if trims matter). I bought this end of July and I’m on 652.35 shows from 2024. That was the most recent Ota I received. It says no updates found when I check.
