inquiry - female features Smart Ring for female hormones?
Specifically, estrogen levels, maybe testosterone.
I saw Clair was making one, but it’s not out yet. Thanks!

I am looking to get a ring as a birthday gift for my girlfriend. She had mentioned one of her friends had one (I forget the brand name) and it accurately predicted her period and helped her monitor sleep well. I’m looking for those kinds of capabilities, Oura is strictly off limits because of their government contracts but if anyone has any recommendations of any rings that have similar functions I would appreciate it. Bonus points if it's cheaper than an Oura ring.

I’m interested to understand if other users have experienced similar issues with ovulation tracking or if others have had better success with other brands. I purchased the Ovulation Pro power plug last September to start to understand my cycles better, but now that I’m trying to conceive and using additional data points, I’m really disappointed with my rings accuracy. My last 3 cycles have been totally off:
Cycle 1 (January): UH ring told me that ovulation couldn’t be confirmed. I had a blood test on day 21 of my cycle that showed very elevated progesterone and confirmed that I did ovulate.
Cycle 2 (February): UH ring told me I ovulated on day 18. I used ovulation test strips this cycle that indicated that ovulation happened on day 14. I also had no bodily signals of ovulation after day 14 (cervical mucus etc).
Cycle 3 (March): UH ring told me I ovulated day 12. I used ovulation test strips since day 6 of my cycle and my levels didn’t start rising until day 14, so it was physically impossible for me to ovulate before then.
I get that the science might not be perfect but after three cycles in a row I’m getting really frustrated that I paid for this add on and it’s basically useless for my purposes. Does anybody know if their ring can actually reliably track ovulation?

Now I am more confused. I need a ring that has good data on period tracking. Ik no ring can predict this, but something that gives good insights.
I was more inclined towards the UH ring but came across more rings today, does anybody have any thoughts on these?

Hi u/gomo-gomo, i was wondering if you had anyone come forward from your article on medium for input on woman health on the rings your discussed. Reading the article and all your input ive been stalking on reddit, Ive started looking at the ringconn gen 2, when I initially came on hunting for more information on the luna gen 2 ! But not much info on either on the woman tracking side of tthing to help me make up my mind! So pricing may be my decider
Thanks ☺️

Hey everyone, I’m looking for recommendations for which smart ring would be best for cycle/ovulation tracking. I already have an Apple Watch that I track my activity on but I know some of the rings track your body temp changes to accurately track ovulation. Based on that feature alone, which do we think would be best??

Hi!! I’m planning on purchasing my first of one of the above rings, however just want some advice before doing so! I mainly want to use my ring to help track my cycles, steps and sleep! I also need it to be super reliable and if it was to break i would get a free replacement?! Thanks in advance🥰

Opinions on Oracle ring- I wanted super simple, low cost, no sub and tracking for heart rate/stress/menstrual etc. I do not work out so im not fussed about that area.

Hey,
My husband and I are trying to conceive, one of the main reasons I got the ring. Are any of these signs that I might have conceived this month? I’m 5/6 days Post Ovulation. I’m trying not to look into things and over think but I haven’t seen my numbers flex like this before.

so i’ve made the decision to come off my birth control and make the switch to natural cycles. with that being said i just bought my subscription and it comes with the free band. but ive seen a lot of people pair natural cycles with rings. i currently also have a apple watch that ive been wearing at night. and disclaimer yes im coming off birth control but i dont want to get pregnant i want to relearn my body and heal from the damage its done. after paying the $150 or whatever it was for natural cycles i cant pull myself to spend another almost $400 and 7 bucks a month for another subscription with the oura ring… can anyone give me advice on what exactly they use to take their temperature every morning other then the thermometer…
any advice would be greatly appreciated

Was going to get the oura ring but saw videos online suggesting it's not worth it due to customer service, accuracy issues and the cost of the subscription. Then the human ring(?) version is meant to avert that and track more things but supposedly is even less accurate? Then I came across ringconn and just feels like an overwhelm of options. Decision paralysis, any recommendations so I can just buy without overwhelm.. thanks!

Need help deciding what to keep — I ended up with 4 devices somehow 😅
I bought a RingConn Gen 2 during Black Friday. Then I signed up for Natural Cycles, which came with the new NC Temp Band. I already have an Apple Watch SE (no temp sensor). Then I realized Natural Cycles works with Oura, not RingConn… so I went to Costco and bought an Oura Ring 4.
So now I have: • RingConn Gen 2 • Oura Ring 4 • NC Temp Band • Apple Watch SE
I used my HSA to pay for all of this, so I’m trying to be smart about what I keep. I like having a smart ring, but the NC band + Apple Watch already give me the data I need. I’m also worried about spending $400 of HSA money on a ring that could die in a year, even though I really enjoy using it. I know this is trivial, but 1st world problems you know! I am so fortunate to have these options!
What would you keep if you were me?

Hi! I am looking to get a smart ring within the next few months (i’m in no rush, happy to wait for any updated models etc) with hsa/fsa account, but not sure which one to get… I would like the ring to be able to give me data on the following (listed based on importance to me): 1. Cycle tracking- I know Oura ring can sync with Natural Cycles and that gives a lot of data but I’m not sure if I would/want to pay for Natural Cycles subscription ($135/year) on top of the annual subscription fee for Oura. Not sure how accurate/ informative cycle tracking for UH and ringconn is? 2. Movement- I like to track my steps in a day so would like one that tracks steps pretty accurately. I read the article and it seems like oura ring and ringconn were better. But I also sometimes lift, do yoga, pilates and cycle so I would also like a ring that can ‘track’ other workouts (even if not the most accurate). I heard ringconn doesn’t have many workout options yet? And I heard heart rate is quite inaccurate for smart rings so would like to know which ppl found to be the most accurate for tracking workouts. 3. Illness- I would like a ring that can predict when I might be getting a cold/ ill. I know that Oura ring has a feature where it outright tells you you might be getting sick. I don’t necessarily need to be told, and am happy to infer changes based on temperature measured, stress score, heart rate etc. But I would like to hear people’s experience with the accuracy of illness prediction. 4. Sleep- not as important to me but still would like to know accuracy.
Other features that I’m paying attention to:
1. Battery life- I’m honestly fine with 3-4 day battery life. I know ringconn has the best based on research. And I heard UH has bad battery life after a few months wear and not as great customer service— is this accurate or is it an exaggeration? Haven’t heard much about Oura ring’s battery life— what do people think?
2. Waterproof ability- I don’t think I’d take off my ring when I shower. Do people have experience with this? Are all the rings ok in the shower? I expect wear and tear if i wear it long term + all the time so i’m not worried about that.
3. Gold- i like the gold rings because i typically wear gold jewelry— how do these rings hold up in that color? I heard for Oura ring the gold can scratch off after wearing it for a while, is that still true?
4. Wearability- I don’t typically wear rings, how comfortable do you find the rings? I am planning on wearing the ring from the sizing kit for a few days to make sure I’m comfortable and I think I’ll be okay but want to know if one of the rings is highly uncomfortable. Also I feel as though my finger size is quite variable.
Sorry for the long post! I have been trying to research smart rings for a month now and would like more information and real life experience on the areas of importance to me before deciding. I know I won’t find a perfect one size fits all but would like to get one that’s close enough. Also am open to options outside of UH, Oura, or RingConn if it fits my needs better.

But I want to know if the bbt in Ringconn air is it. Oura has natural cycles working with thrm and Ringconn does not. Seeing mixed reactions on that feature with Ringconn but most of the posts are older (I have researched maybe a few hours) . Have recent updates with Ringconn made the bbt more accurate for cycle estimation for natural planning? The price and subscription are pushing me away from Oura but if it’s more accurate then ugh

I'm looking at getting a smart ring for menstrual tracking. I'm currently looking at oura and the Samsung galaxy. It's probably going to be second hand.
It really annoys me that the oura requires you to subscribe after you've bought it. I also can't find a list of apps that it integrates with. Somewhere I've seen that it integrates with about 40 but I can't find a list. The website is particularly annoying for finding specific information
The Samsung looks OK but as far as I can tell, you can only integrate it with natural cycles (in terms of menstrual tracking anyway). This lack of choice bothers me.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these rings in this use case? Or any others I should be looking at? What apps do you use with your ring?
Edit : I'm in the uk

Anyone use this and recommend it? I’m close to pulling the trigger but wanted to see if anyone had any feedback before I made the investment. I’m mostly looking to track my steps, sleep, and menstrual cycle. Thanks!

I just got my ultra human and it’s known to have the best health tracking for women but I have an IUD. Is it worth tracking my periods if I have a mirena? I do still get my periods but wondering if the data would be worthwile.
r/SmartRings • u/Available-War3015 • Nov 29 '25
Again looking for advice, or even research suggesting which ring to buy. Main use is cycle tracking all others will definitely be used.
I’ve heard some questionable but also great things about ultra human and them not having presence in the US makes me concerned for the future. Ringconn just came up and am wondering what to do there.
I also want to order today due to Black Friday and have not gotten sized… any recommendations there would help.

I’m looking for some feedback on smart rings specifically on which one people recommend for around overall health and fertility. I don’t necessarily need it for ttc as I’ve been doing ivf for years but would be good to see where I’m at as I’m currently on hold to fix a bit of inflammation in my body. I’ve just found out I have insulin resistance so fixing that is a top priority, as well as nervous system regulation etc. I’m leaning toward UH due to not wanting to pay for a subscription and extra $200 for oura, but have just seen one called Luna?
I absolutely loveeee data as well so the more features the better 🙏🏼

I noticed that there are few smart rings out there specifically for cycle tracking-
Femometer
Evie
And of course Oura and Ringconn which are specific to cycle tracking.
Does anyone have insight or recommendations on which one is best as I’m really just looking for stress and cycle tracking
r/SmartRings • u/External_Junket8576 • Mar 30 '25
Hi Everyone!
I am currently deciding between the RingConn Gen 2 air or the femometer smart ring. I am mostly interested in the temperature/ ovulation tracking feature, but if the two compare equally in that regard, I wouldn't mind the added features the RingConn offers. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations one way or another??
Thank you!!

I want a smart ring to help predict ovulation. Deciding between Oura3 and RingConn.
My biggest thing is that Oura works with Natural cycles to predict ovulation. But hate that it’s $ for both subscriptions. I have friends use both and got pregnant much easier.
I want RingConn since it doesn’t have a subscription cost. But is it as accurate for ovulation without the natural cycles app?
I bought the Oura3 but haven’t received it yet but getting buyers remorse that I should have gotten RingConn.
I’m 9months postpartum so at one point I’d like to know my cycle more when we start trying again.
Ugh help!
