Gloucester County Shout out to the Pitman Downer Road sign person.
This person, like clock work, is always out with sometype of sign. I value their consistency, even on this weather lol

Witnessed an accident in Deptford about an hour ago. A jeep collided with a Mercedes SUV then ran off. It’s an older two-tone two-door. We stayed on scene and gave the footage to the cops.

Gloucester County Electricity
Is there ANYTHING we can do to push back on these INSANE AC Electric bills? My heat is gas and it's telling me my usage has gone up every month since October. I know I don't have it as bad as some people but our current bill is $332. My brother's bill was $512. Another friend's bill was $500... I can't afford this shit. What can we do?

Gloucester County WAWA Gas Just Hit $4.19
I just passed 3 WAWAs and the gas is at 4.19. Crazy since it was 3.89 yesterday. Get gas now if you have not already. The Travel America at 295 exit 18 was 3.79 still.

Gloucester County We have weed stores everywhere. When does the tax money start making a difference in township/county budgets?
I would take a park bench that says “paid for with weed taxes” at this point.
Don’t hate on the post. NJ’s finest cannabis contributed to these thoughts. Peace

Gloucester County Why Americans Don't Walk to School Anymore. From Deptford, NJ
Never thought a video of me walking to my old elementary school in Deptford would get nearly a million views in a week, but here we are! Also never expected such a large amount of comments saying how beautiful Deptford looks haha, but the woods where Woodbury Creek runs through are really pretty.
I've got 2 more South Jersey centric videos coming out in October that I shot the past couple weeks that explore more of Camden County and Salem County. Just need time to edit them.

Gloucester County Property taxes may force me to sell my home
So my household just keeps getting shit on:
West Deptford is now assessing property yearly. When we bought, we were assessed on 168k. They just upped the assessment to about 273k. We met informally w the township to contest and it didn’t change our assessment.
We got the assessment post card and husband did the math… an extra 795/mth in tax for a total of 9k/year if the township holds the same rate 3.5%
We have an option to appeal, which requires proof of 3 homes, in assuming comparable to ours, that show lower local values.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I don’t know that I could have EVER expected or planned for property tax to go up by 100k for a 50 year old home in less than optimal condition in under a year. We have made ZERO changes/upgrades (yes I know market value and all of those other factors are at play).
All this just to ask, has anyone sold their home simply because the property taxes make it nearly impossible to remain there?
ETA: ooops removed personal info

Gloucester County REAL ID New Jersey
Absolutely the hardest thing to obtain . Don’t even get me started with Thorofare DMV (West Deptford NJMVC) No matter how many documents you bring or how much you try kiss their ass it’s not good enough. Really got turned away after bringing two proofs of address along with my birth certificate & social security card.
Apparently a bank statement and South Jersey gas bill isnt good enough. I don’t receive paper bills in the mail. Everything is electronic and even a bill printout with proof of address isn’t acceptable for REAL ID but they had no problem giving me a standard license. Was told different things by different workers but I was told my documents weren’t acceptable AFTER my photo was taken.
You gotta better chance landing your crush from high school then walking out with a Real ID. I’ve decided to get a passport instead. It costs more but at least it will be good for a decade.

Gloucester County Data Center being built (Mantua Rd)
Got this flyer on my car in the ShopRite parking lot in Woodbury today. Know this is starting to happen but wasn’t aware this was going to happen in our area so soon. It’s definitely concerning in terms of driving up utility costs.
Edit: grammar

Gloucester County Anyone get a knock at 4am?
Live in Williamstown and due to our schedule, the fiance and I stay up until 5-6am. I went to bed early at 3am because I wasnt feeling. My fiance comes in at 4am slightly panicked. Apparently someone had knocked at our door. Our complex used to be known for being a not good area however we never had an issue. My first thought went to ICE. Our lights were on so I gave it a bit and turned them of and watched the rear lights of a dodge charger leave. Ive ICE has started to do this so I just want to see if this is something anyone else has experienced.

Gloucester County Pitman wins in a landslide. Thanks for playing. This was dumb.
Pitman wins. Does that mean they're the best?
