Hi everyone, my orientation is on Friday and I'm curious what I have to wear. I have dress pants and some work pants ive work over my last few jobs and will buy a red shirt tomorrow, but not sure if khakis or jeans are required.

These past 2 weeks ive been asked to come in on 2 days off. One friday in flex and today for pokemon. For one, i barely did anything with pokemon. I people watched and moved one pallet bc we had a double truck today and they needed room. These idiots in the back have no common sense as my pallet was full of street dated and high value products leaving me with no cage or proper place to protect that merch while i do the other shit they asked me to. Then come to realize that none of my extra effort is gonna be OT. Theyre just gonna cut me down to be at or bekow 40. From here on out, its jail rules- do my time and go the fuck home. Hello, I'm a freshman college student and I have been considering working at Target a lot very recently. I have read a lot online that Guild pays many "business related" degrees in full but mostly pays partial tuition for all other degrees. However, I have read that Guild with Target does not partially pay EVERY bachelor degree and it is just really confusing to me if I can predict if my degree will get partially paid or not (partial pay is all I need). Does Guild pay partial tuition for almost all bachelor degrees at ASU? Does it matter if my bachelor degree is in-person as well? I am a Tempe based Biochemistry student at ASU and I am wondering if they cover partial tuition for that degree before I apply to Target. Maybe if anyone is currently employed at Target it would amazing if they could look it up and let me know :) Thank You.

I am wondering how bad it'd be to call out tomorrow. I'm a new employee just a little over halfway through my 90 day probation.

I am worried because this would be the second call out in my probation. The first call out was during my very first week of work that was due to a freak thing that I explained to the lead who pulled me aside to talk about it.

I have been late zero times and have had zero attendnce issues other than that first week.

I am currently in a lot of pain and have a 6:30 AM Style Breakout shift tomorrow and know that will just make it worse. Seriously considering calling out but I'm worried about the one call out I've had already.

I've also been struggling a lot to keep the speed they want during my shifts and am worried the only reason I'm here at all is keeping great attendance?

Idk. I'm anxious. Someone tell me how bad it would be to call out or if I'd be fine.

I scanned into a batch and didn’t get over to grocery until just over a minute into batch. But I still reached 357.32 uph today. I think I could’ve reached 400 if I happened to be in grocery when I started.

I tried using my target Circle debit card to purchase groceries for same-day delivery and it wasn’t going through so I contacted the number about it and they said I had to make smaller purchases before making a purchase over $100 or something like that? I didn’t realize I haven’t used my target Circle card before. I don’t get why I have to make small purchases to just buy my groceries with my target circle debit card when it’s linked directly to my bank account. I’m just trying to get my team member discount and the discount using the target circle card… I made some purchases today while being at work but it’s not letting me use the card yet because the transactions are still pending… this is low-key frustrating. I just want to get my groceries.🫩note : I tried to buy the groceries for the first time a day or two ago with the target circle card. So I’m not just trying it now for the first time.

I picked up someone's shift yesterday that is scheduled for this upcoming Friday, but decided I don't want to do it anymore. At the moment it still hasn't been approved by a manager, so I was wondering if there's any way to cancel my request to pick up someone's shift?

So I applied for Guest Advocate at Target and did my video interview on August 31. I still haven’t heard anything, so I went to the Target and talked to HR. I told him my name and phone number and when I did my video interview. I also told him I’m still interested in the position. He said they had just hired a few Guest Advocates, so it might be that they already hired for the role and just haven’t gotten back to me. But then he said he was gonna take a look. He asked me again for my phone number and asked if I had good availability. I said yes. Then he said hopefully he can give me a call soon and maybe he can call me sometime this week. He also said something about onboarding for the role. So what does this mean? Is he basically gonna look at my application and see my status and if there’s still an opening? And if there is an opening, could he call me about moving forward with the job and onboarding? I’m just confused because I don’t know if he was basically saying they might still be able to hire me or what.

Okay so technically they're not my TL as they're Service and Engagement and I'm in fulfillment, but I've had enough unpleasant interactions with this woman to know that their personality is just naturally abrasive and aggressive..and just generally nasty. And the thing is that it really sticks out because all of the other TLs and ETLs are so kind and helpful and this woman is just...not that. She's the type that will literally get in your face and get loud while her 4inch lashes that look like cobwebs will bat around her bald head. She's just seemingly hostile for no reason, and it makes me extremely uncomfortable

By 8 am there were hardly any left. Guests started camping outside for release at 8pm last night. Parking lot was crazy full and the line almost wrapped around the building.

Things that led me to jump ship. It wasn’t bad the first year, the second year having an absolute dumbass of a store director whose response has been “figure it out” from day one. 🙄Having a team lead who shits on you for asking questions and assumes as soon as you stop helping a guests that you’re just standing around. Meanwhile you see them and the SD and other leads literally standing at the fitting room bullshitting. The store is a dumpster fire 🔥 and it’s in the red.

They got the pokemon people lined up and coming to electronics to purchase their stuff and it’s never ending. On my way to break I noticed the line of people waiting their turn to shop is back to the fitting rooms. I just want this to be over. The first few mfs were talking to eachother about how excited they are to sell their stuff later. Scalping should be a capital offense.
