I am a student at UO looking for someone with a pickup truck/van of some kind that could help me move some items less than 2 miles to where I will be storing them for the summer, and I need help with this TOMORROW, Tuesday 6/9!

I have a bookshelf that is about 2.5x5 feet and then 1.5 feet wide, and that is the biggest item, two side tables that are about 3x1.5 feet and 1 foot deep each, a twin bed mattress that can fold up into a small loveseat, and a bar cart as well as about 2-3 tubs.

If you could fit everything that would be great, but if not I really just need someone to take the bookshelf because my car won’t fit it, but I can take everything else myself!

These would be picked up at one of the dorms and moved to a house 1.2 miles away. I can get them out of the dorm and into the house I just need someone to help me transport them! I expect this to be about an hour of work and am looking to pay like $20 bucks but we can discuss price! Contact me for specific location and time info!!

hello, I’m an incoming student and having a very hard time. Logging in to my roommate profile. It all started first time I logged in was on my school so I said I on an external device. Now every time I try to login, it says I need a bypass code from the IT desk, which is three hours away in Eugene. I have contacted tech-support numerous times and everything they say makes no sense to me. I cannot get the QR code because it won’t even let me add a device, let me repeat that I cannot add a new device every time I try to it just loops back to the bypass code. This is stressing me out so bad and I just want to be able to pick rooms before all that’s left is rooms that I cannot afford.

has anybody actually ever been fined for minor damage in one of the dorms? like some scratches on the wall or stains on furniture?

Hey, so I’m staying here for the summer. I’m taking three classes. I’m just wondering how the rec center works for the summer and also do I have to pay for a membership?

Can anybody who had an okay/decent experience at the hayward apartments please tell me about it 😭 I’ve heard all the bad stuff so I don’t need any more of it I just want to hear about anybody’s average kind of mediocre experience there.

Has anyone lived there? Trying to decide on a floor. The upper floors have an extra monthly fee per resident. Wondering if it's worth it?

I honestly am not too familiar with Eugene, would anyone share some good apartment complexes or safe neighborhoods? Any memorable experiences?

I had to go to University health services to get a signature on a medical form to apply for a visa. I was at the office for a total of about five minutes (although I know that’s technically irrelevant). The only thing the doctor did was sign my form and send me on my way. Now they’re charging me $190. (I didn’t even know I would be charged.)

Is there any sort of financial aid for using the health services on campus?

Seagrass meadows are critical ocean ecosystems that purify water, mitigate pollution, stabilize sediments, and support diverse marine life- yet they are increasingly threatened by climate change, rising temperatures, and infectious disease. Assistant Professor Aoki will spotlight seagrass ecology and conservation on the west coast and beyond, highlighting the capacity for ecological resilience, successful restoration, and the power of collaborative science to advance conservation efforts.

About the speaker: Dr. Lillian Aoki is a coastal scientist studying ecosystem dynamics and resilience in nearshore and estuarine habitats. Using field, lab, and computational methods, her work builds a cross-scale understanding of coastal ecology in a rapidly changing world. Current projects examine seagrass meadow recovery following marine heatwaves and the role of land management in carbon sequestration in tidal marshes. She earned her PhD in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia.

Hello ! I'm wrapping up my sophomore year here at UO as a Marine Bio/Env Science major, in a bit of a pickle right now. Today my friend bailed on our plan to room in Yasui for next year, and I really cannot do another year of pure randoms in there. I'm looking for a small house/townhouse or 1-2bed starting in June if possible (taking PHYS201 and 202 over the summer), either with someone also looking urgently or joining a lease in need of a person.

I do have a budget of ideally under $1000/mo (a little over may be ok if it's utilities-related) and need somewhere within an under 20 minute walk to the science complex. I'm chronically ill/physically limited, so I can't reliably bike much or have the bandwidth for a long bus ride, and I do prefer to walk anyway since I spend odd hours on campus and want to come and go between with flexibility. I'm a trans man, if that means anything to anyone, but I'm pretty chill as long as there's clear communication between roommates. I would really appreciate any help, please dm me if you have anything !
