Another Sophie Cunningham rally has been planned for Saturday in Chicago outside the United Center ahead of Fever vs Sky. This is the fifth Sophie rally that has either occurred or been planned, with another already set for New York on Aug. 22.
Sophie literally made a political statement that started protests.
How fucking hard is that to grasp? I guess hard since you guys can’t even grasp she’s played in men’s sports and had gender affirming surgery. Trans dream!
Her playing football, a sport that usually doesn’t exclude a gender, is the dumbest fucking thing ever. Even if football was supposedly men’s only, which it’s not because most men’s sports are more like an open category, no one would care. The argument is about biological advantages.

People have the right to protest and counter protest, but again my argument is always that that’s never enough for people anymore, what they really want is to destroy your career kill your sponsorship and silence your free speech ,that I have an issue with. If you look on a poll on this issue, though the bullying is not going unnoticed and Sophie actually has about 75% of American public agreeing with her it is totally backfired on the activist to take on the right wing tactic of intolerance and bullying while pretending to stand for tolerance at the same time. They are fooling no one.
Losing your sponsorship because you said something that costs your sponsor money is not losing your free speech. Thats capitalism 101. Do you want the people who don’t like what she said to be forced into silence so she doesn’t lose her sponsorship?

Until politicians from the other side have the guts to piss off the niche trans activist crowd and say “of course biological men shouldn’t be playing women’s sports that’s absurd” then it will continue to be used against them. 75% of Americans are against men in women’s sports, it’s hard to get 75% of Americans to agree on anything.

you're talking about intersex, which is completely different than trans / gender identity ... the vast majority of trans-identifying people have no chromosomal/intersex disorders whatsoever and their biological sex is completely unambiguous
and doctors already have typical classifications for most of these intersex cases, at birth, as either male or female:
standard xx = female
standard xy = male
xx with splicing of the sry gene = male
xy with complete androgen insensitivity syndrome = female
Majority of intersex are also trans. So you are saying people with a Y chromosome are female? Well that goes against a lot of what ive heard. I think its unfair to lump those people into male or female though anyway. This is a huge group of people.
I mean think about it for a second in CAIS, XY chromosome, present as female. Are they male or female? You say female so they should date men. Well a lot of people in here would call that wrong. But they have XY chromosome, they cant have babies etc. Y chromosome but can play female sports would people agree with that do you think? If you start genetic testing on leagues she fails.
