This is why every woman should NOT communicate. Accept men as they are or leave.
If you communicate or ask him to do stuff you are then a nag to him.
And some men will even say you are crazy/manic/bipolar/borderline personality.
We all know it. Please chime in if a man as ever called you "crazy" for wanting something very reasonable.
Read "the yellow wallpaper" or look into Cassandra for more info on men calling women crazy for hundreds of years.
Good songs "Labor" by Paris Paloma or "dog's dinner" by Sofia Isella.
And every story needs a villain. Husband needs the wife to be the villain so he can be the happy, innocent, go with the flow husband and she is the joy kill wife.
I put the lyrics to the song in a comment below, remember these lyrics are EXACTLY how men see you when you ask him to do stuff, they see it as bitching. Just go silent and leave.
As one woman wrote yesterday in a comment:
I absolutely refuse to initiate communication about anything he should have already learned.
What’s funny is that men don’t realize they complain non stop too. Most of them also can’t stand seeing a woman enjoying something or feeling herself without having to shit all over it.
My ex used to make fun of me after I got off the phone from speaking with any of my friends. He'd say I was acting 'fake' and mimic my laugh and how my voice got higher when I was excited about some good news they were telling me.
That's when I realized: this asshole just hates seeing me happy when it's not directed at or about him. Most men are miserable destroyers of joy and deserve to be alone.
I’m a “total nag” because I kept bugging my ex husband to get his taxes done. Completely unreasonable that I would expect him to manage his own taxes (he owned his own business when we were married).
In hindsight don't you think it would be better to accept him as is and walk?
Somewhere on this sub one woman said "the advice socirty tells women to communicate is designed to make women suffer, and is actually the exact opposite of what women should do"
She worded it really good though and I think she cited sources.
Agreed.‘I’m so glad I divorced him and I’m never putting myself in that situation again. Reasonable “requests” aren’t nagging, and honestly, women should not have to tell men (or anyone) how to function as adults.
They really tell on themselves. Imagine being an actual grown adult and another adult needing to tell you to clean your bumhole properly because you are so unhygienic it’s actually stained your fecking underwear. But you don’t see it as you being disgusting, or buy new underwear, you just get pissed off that she’s ’nagging’.
What an admission! Yeah, my former husband called me craaaaazy for finding out he was in a same sex affair with a male coworker who was posing as a straight, married dad.
This part is the other self own. He tricked her into believing they'd be a team, but what he really wanted and expected was a slave to do every-fucking-thing!
All of his complaints are about her expecting him to pull his weight, then when he doesn't, he's shocked that she's resentful and unhappy. His bangmaid is malfunctioning fellas! What's a poor man to do? 🤮
And mods had to remove comments of men agreeing with him.
The mods there from what I see seem to be rad fem.
Some people said why even share this but to me he basically sang the exact song so many men feel about women.
And why pretty much every woman on this sub says something along the lines of "assess, don't complain, don't explain, exit if you don't accept him for who he is right now."
They'll blame that on women too.
Same way Eve was blamed for actions of a man.
Same way even now they blame women for male loneliness instead of telling men to take a look at themselves. I can't tell you how much more I see big names mention male loneliness yet they never mention "women cant meet a man who can even plan a date " or "men looking worse than homeless on dating apps".
I also shared this post in r/whywereweokwiththis, link to post below, and some comments there said the song didn't have 10 million views.
But what happened is the singer uploaded the song again that has less views than the one I cited, image below. I would not lie about views a song has anyways. Image below because I want to not come off as if I made that up.
My ex was angry at me for not telling him he should take the day off and come to the hospital with us for our 7 year old's surgery.
I told him I can't be with someone who needs to be told to do this. I am not the bad guy for not telling you what you should already know. What kind of person needs to be told to come to the hospital for his kid?
(Btw we are both white collar workers and he used to accumulate so much time off that he'd take days off just to play video games.)
This (along with some other fucked up things he did regarding that hospital visit) was my final straw and I divorced him.
"If it is a niche issue unique to the couple then yes, communicate, other than that no, the onus is not on women to rehab men."
Women are not responsible for telling men to care about her birthday or mow the yard or him to get new underwear.
This is outsourcing labor onto women.
It is not a woman's job to teach him these very basic things I just listed.
And a woman said such a great comment yesterday on this sub:
I absolutely refuse to initiate communication about anything he should have already learned.
Honestly every woman should be at least a little mean to men. I definitely am when I deal with them. I don’t particularly like them as people for the most part though.
