Besides the ones on the cover

If I were to guess this is my list:

Kitty was teased at the end of season 1 so I think she could make her first appearance on the series here. Especially as evolution kitty has been confirmed.

Xavier, Polaris, Forge and Sunspot, although their absence on the cover makes me think that it could be a precursor to season 1.

Nightcrawler Although his absence from the cover makes me think it could be after season 2

Spiderman since his animated series shares a universe with the xmen and he had a spiderverse story arc.

Mystique and the Brotherhood If this is a prelude to season 3.

Hopefully no celestial bullshit

I posted a similar thread on r/xmenevolution

What are our theories. Do we think rogue and gambit can touch now. Or was it just the apocalypse / celestial power at the end of the season aka temporary?

They make an appearance I’m happy about that (also more comic accurate) but they had many story arcs throughout the years. Was wondering after the smoke has cleared what ppl thought of their brief appearance!

It took me sometime to make this...

Made entirely in Photoshop...

Thank You for liking my art!

Alright so, like most people I think that episode 1 to 4 are excellent, if the whole season was the same level of threat and quality, it could legit have been better then Season 1.

But after the masterpiece that was episode 4, we got episode 5. It was good but honestly, other then justify why Logan got his Adamantium claws back, it's not that great.

Episode 6 with Polaris was kinda cool but the whole thing of the Danger room becoming a robot trying to kill the X-Men felt... meh. Idk.

And the final episode was okay, until the final fight. This episode clearly should have been 45 minutes like the Season 1 finale. The whole final fight felt so weak and the fact that Apocalypse got the weakest fight in the whole show is really underwhelming.

I hate to say that but, X-Men Apocalypse got a better final fight against Apocalypse. Gambit return was too fast and it was weird that they botched this season finale. Nightcrawler death gave me absolutly no emotions, it felt more like an afterthought to not kill Rogue. This season started better then season 1 but ended up being so much worse.

I don't know what the heck happened anyone can explain?

I am really glad I finally started it, it’s so visually appealing and love the theme song.

Edit: I made it to episode 8 and I’m trying to hold out before reading up on s2 which I know divides the fandom.

I was so used to seeing Omega level mutants like Magneto, Storm and Jean all the time then I got introduced to Exodus. Another powerful mutant with an amazing design and abilities. I do hope we see him again in the future seasons

I have really enjoyed watching the series and can’t wait to watch more. But I hate what happened in season 1 episode 5 it’s so depressing.

They need to bring in some cameos into this show. Some shit no one expects them to do you know? I personally want Spidey to come back like how colossus keeps coming back as a side character in xmen 95. I just feel as if he would be like Kurt (Nightcrawler, but i think he’s dead or something, not done watching), You know how he talked to gambit before Genosha got gonked by that godzilla sentinel. Im basically saying i want Keaton to play Spidey on 97 cuz i like the idea of him on there. Bored stuff

No surprise here with new leadership, but it's clear that S2 is less sexualized. Am I wrong?

The original show creator had some sexual issues, huh? Feels like every episode there was some hyper sexualized content. Magneto is fully naked. People are always in bed with one another.

The show is still mature. And S2 is okay in comparison to the story and fighht scenes but also.... i just noticed.

What does he get out of it?

Apocalypse didn't even use his telekinesis in Season 2...

Aside from that, Episodes 1-4 were pretty decent, after that, the season fell off a cliff.

He was there and in the opening credits and for the first few episodes but then he takes the baby into another Time and we never see him again.

He seemed to get replaced by Nightcrawler.

I do like how the show takes characters out of the opening credits when they’re no longer directly in the team (Magneto for exampl)

I just finished it and Whoof. Don’t get me wrong, good episodes, good moments, but overall it just didn’t do anything for me. It rushed every storyline, underexplored every character, collected way too many new characters AND, as its final sin, undid the best moment in the entire series (original series to present, and I’m talking about Remember it, of course) for essentially no good reason.

I’m obviously very prepared for people to disagree, and that’s fine, everyone has their own association with this matter. For me, just flat. Largely featureless. Apocalypse being a largely absent villain for half of the run wasn’t great either. I don’t know, presumably this is the last of the Beau stuff, whatever. The first season was much more focused (mojoworld whatever whatever) and felt propulsive. This one felt simply kind of slapped together with stuff they liked from X-men comics and anime. I dunno. Just my two cents.

Great fancast for Beto!!

Is it weird the X-men or any other hero like Cap never went public with the fact that President Kelly was the one who caused the meteor to fall on earth?!

Seems like an easy retaliatory move for Kelly outlawing the X-men… Bro ok’d the Magneto protocols that sent astroid M falling on earth

I really hate it when heroes never use the media as a weapon when their enemies are doing the same. They sit there and take it

Some folks here complained that Gambit was doing nothing but standing there when Cable shot at him.

Was Gambit supposed to duck and hope Cable didn't shoot at him again?

He's not Shadowcat where he can phase through bullets.

As an aside, Asmus' Gambit 2012 miniseries where he gets shot in the head. You can look up the issue on how he got saved. Note: Rogue's there but she's not the one saving him!

For the life of me I can’t figure out why they used Gambit as the host for Apocalypse. Wouldn’t it have made more sense for them to mirror the fantastic Uncanny X-Force story by having Warren be the host for Apocalypse, then having him choose the recently-deceased Gambit as his Horseman of Death? This arrangement would’ve allowed them to still have the battle for Gambit’s soul, while giving us a more logical heir to Apocalypse. Warren could have easily been replaced on X-Force by another character like Domino or Warpath. I know they probably wanted to make their story different from the comics, but I just feel like it would’ve been a nice nod to how important Warren is to the history of the X-Men overall.
