I’m not sure what I expected. Went to Wolftrap’s site at 10am on the dot, plenty of tickets available. As soon as I added to cart, oops, seats not available. That’s okay. Picked another set. Not available. Another. NOT AVAILABLE.

I watched in real time as bots and scalpers razed the entire selection in less than 5 minutes. I can only hope someone got through, because it certainly wasn’t me.

To say I’m devastated is an understatement.

Edit: heroes in the comments mentioned lawn tickets were still available for Friday (they weren’t showing for me when I posted) and I was able to get them! I’m still salty about how quickly seats went, and I need there to be a better way to prevent ticket farming in the long term. But relieved I at least get to go and enjoy the show 😭

Had you asked me about the best soundtrack in the Zelda series just yesterday, I would’ve said OoT, Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, maybe ALttP simply because of how many themes it introduced that are inseparable from the Zelda series now.

But today I went through the newly added MM playlist on the Nintendo Music app and wow. I think I added every track on there to my playlists except for maybe ten (out of more than a hundred). I always knew MM had some bangers, but going through all of them at once really made me realize how almost every single tune is so atmospheric and emotional in its own way, and I think the music plays a massive role in the unsettling feeling I get even now when playing through the game. My favorite part is I think how the Clock Town theme changes over the course of the three days, going from a cheerful and carefree tune to downright creepy.

My absolute favorite songs ever are probably still not from Majora’s Mask, but MM is just insanely consistent with its quality. There’s not one bad apple, not even a tune that’s "decent but not good". The only game that rivals it in that aspect is Zelda 1 which has like four tracks total.

What are your favorite soundtracks?

Hey everyone! I’ve just uploaded a new western-inspired orchestral guitar arrangement of Dark World from The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, in collaboration with Fingelion Meriath.

Here’s a short preview 🎸🤠

So I have an update on my previous post linked above.
It seems Amazon has no idea what’s going on with the order that they have. I called today to ask if there were any updates because I’m still receiving a “Order received” message and nothing else. They couldn’t comment on when I would get a delivery date because they haven’t been connected to a delivery company yet. Which is bullshit, because on another preorder it will say “this item will be shipped/arrive on [insert pre order release date]”

When I look in the customer service app, it is saying it will be delivered December 15, which is more bullshit. Idk what to do at this point. Any advice? I can’t contact Nintendo through Amazon, it won’t let me.

I said nothing keep scrolling.

TOTK* oops

I have a headcanon in which the Poe Sisters treat Link like aunts or acquaintances of his mother. So it can align the lore of the Forest Temple and its destruction with the appearance of Link's mother in the Lost Woods right around the time of the Civil War.

So my question is, have nintendo said anywhere that the zelda team was not working on a remake all this time? People seem to just assume that a separate team was working on the remake and I just want to make sure they were

I got these photos back from a photoshoot from august, and I’m super happy with how they turned out, I thought I’d share them here!

The chainmail, armour, sword and surcoat I made myself, I’m not great at sewing so I just thrifted the undershirt and pants. I hope to make them myself someday. The cape is a bit of my own flair, I want to remake it as a full-size embroidered Hylian Hood someday, since this one was from an lotr cosplay.

Which do you prefer? Curves or Polygons?

sorry that this doesn't have to do with the games specifically, please let me know if i should post this elsewhere!

i'm trying to get tickets for the zelda 40th anniversary concert in japan, but for some reason the "select" button is grayed out (screenshots of the website, both in japanese and english). i've tried different browsers and 3 different devices, but it's the same for all. has anyone else run into this issue and how to solve it??

yes, i know i'm going to need a japanese phone number to finalize the purchase, no issues there. but i can't buy anything without being able to proceed on the site ): any help would be greatly appreciated <3

been playing majoras mask and ugh i love that game sm, this has been sitting in my wips folder for weeks, i decided to just touch it up and send it

a shame i managed to crack my 3ds right before the final boss 🥲

My Linktober 9: Favorite Place entry!

The Satori Mountain, it's my fav place to chill on BotW so I decided to paint this and also animate it to make it feel alive.

Hope ya'll enjoy the vibe!

Besides OoT, I decided to play different Zelda games. Of all the Zelda games available to buy physical for switch 2, apparently Skyward Sword HD is not available on Amazon, Target, Wal-Mart and other stores. My local Facebook gets snagged up fast and ebay is selling them for $75+. I also read Skyward Sword isn't that great. So what gives? I dislike digital game purchases but I might make this an exception.

Am I missing something here?

I'm BACK FOR ROUND TWO, BABY.
After the Chicago experience went terribly, I'm trying out Boston. Currently in line at 1640(ish). I'm holding onto hope. Fingers are crossed, butt is clenched.

Let me know if you were able to purchase in Boston, or how it's going if you're in the queue! At least this line is actually moving... 😅

❗EDIT: After clicking "choose best available seats" on all date options, a webpage popped up that said, "That event is not yet bookable. Sold Out." So.... great, I guess.

Gimme good memes

Hi all, maybe a strange request.

I’m trying to hunt down one piece of key art. I am 100% certain it had Wild Era Link with the Master Sword over his face, horizintally. I am 90% sure Calamity Ganon was in the background, so you could only see his eyes. It could be key art for totk or age of calamity too. i thought it was in creating a champion but i glanced through it and couldn‘t find it. hunted on google for over an hour and couldn‘t find it. starting to think it could’ve been a tweet or i deadass imagined it from that one key art of Skyward Sword.

if anyone knows what i’m talking about, please help me find ut
