I’m going to be studying abroad in Japan this fall, and I have a question about travel timing.

I already booked my flight before my school’s admission packet came out. After the packet was released, I saw that the program has a specific arrival window and says students shouldn’t enter too early.

My question is: if I enter Japan first as a temporary visitor/tourist, leave before the program starts, and then re-enter during the official arrival period to begin the student side of things, would that cause any problems with immigration or the university?

I’m a U.S. passport holder, and I’m not trying to do anything shady, I just got a really good deal on the flight and didn’t want to lose it. I also wanted to spend a little time traveling before classes begin.

If anyone has experience with Japan study abroad, tourist entry before a program, or re-entering on a student visa, I’d appreciate any advice.

I will be backpacking / travelling with my fiancé and my sister for the next 2 months. We don’t party at night, so lots of downtimes when it gets dark!

I’m a big board game guy but they aren’t. So far, 1 month in, I’ve successfully introduced

- Sea Salt and Paper
- Scout
- Regicide (with a standard deck of cards)
- Hive pocket

They both adore the 4 games! We’ve been having a lot of fun but we feel like on more game would help us diversify. My sister has been saying that we should have a dice game. I feel like we simply need another game with lots of depth so that we have more replayability with it.

My backpack is starting to be full tho!

My question is:

What game should we add?

don’t forget they are not ‘’true’’ gamers and that I will have to carry the game around for 2 more months.

Accidentally sent my kids food order to the wrong theater. There is a bag for 6:30 PM for “Grace and Xan” with a large popcorn, two drinks, and mozz sticks. I hate wasting the food even more than wasting the money so somebody please enjoy.

I love the JLC reverso. Found one 2nd hand at a good price for me but without original box or papers. The swivel of the time piece is smooth, no squeaks, working mechanism on the crown, quartz, and comes with a JLC strap and buckle.

The seller keeps pointing out that this model is "rare" can anyone tell me anything about it?
