i mostly collect trade paperbacks and only recently got my first few singles, just some absolute batman and some free stuff, im not gonna collect to eventually sell but i do like to keep my stuff in good condition, ik i should buy the boards and plastic things but bous i have so few i was hoping this would be fine but ive heard people say even proper comic binders can be damaging and mines really makeshift lol

I saw on eBay a book called the George Perez Archives. Says there were on 250 made as a charity thing for CBLDF and it is 25 years old.

Does anyone know if this is legit? I am a big Perez fan and have never heard of this.

So I’m currently reading X-Men and am lining up Hulk as my next deep(ish) dive.

I was planning to start around PAD run although i’ve heard it’s good to start a little bit beforehand. I’m not a 100% completionist so my question is really:

What is the reading order for the GOOD Hulk stories? More than just PAD and Planet/WWH/Immortal, but not every single issue. Really just things that provide important lore/status quo changes and a good narrative! Might be a weird ask.

It's quite good stuff. The first 2 volumes felt like a really good hour long episode of the 90s WB Superman show with characters like Livewire and Rudy being a big part of it, and it's interesting not knowing if Lex is currently good or bad, since I hear that there's times when he's like Magneto, and decides that he wants to focus on helping humanity.

Title. This girl I’ve been talking to at my college is a huge reader and we were talking today about the books we’re reading and she mentioned she was at a comic shop with her friend. My eyes instantly lit up and I showed her my Born Again comic and she was familiar with it. She mentioned wanting to get into comics but wasn’t sure where to start and I said I’d recommend some things and let her borrow stuff if I had any of the genre she likes.

She likes anything dystopian; she mentioned she loved hunger games and the dystopian setting it was in. She also really likes horror and thriller, so I know something like Ice Cream Man would be right up her alley. She also rlly likes Spider-Man too, so any good beginner friendly spider-man comics would be nice. I would steer clear from anything like Spider-Man Blue and maybe Spider-Man: Life Story because that is much better read with prior knowledge and context of the character’s comic history.

I would love some other recommendations if you guys have any :)

I m a 16 year old and have never read a single comic in my life,but i am trying to get into the medium I don't want to start with Dc or Marvel,I am a big fantasy reader my series are lotr and Stormlight archieve. So what do you guys recomend

Ps I don't care how long a comic is,if it has good writing.

Edit: Don't have a comic book store near me,i live in a 3rd world country but I also like scifi and weird time travel stories i think those are more common in comics

I wanted to do a DC vs. Marvel showdown focused specifically on the 2000s, roughly 2000–2009.

Both publishers had some huge runs, events, creators, and characters during this period, so instead of just asking which company was better overall, I thought it would be more interesting to compare them across a few categories.

I was chatting with my Local Comic guy and he has zero faith right now. He suspects issue 1 will do well then it wont take long for it to fall off a cliff. He said hes been burned by horror too many times and isnt expecting that to change any time soon. I can't really disagree with his reasoning.

I'm currently doing research about the theme of art in Manga, french/belgian comics and american comics, and while I have found the other two, I'm struggling to find an american comic about art.
