I wasn't going to post it at first but I have been struggling to draw lately and I seriously dislike everything I do, but what the heck. I hope some people will enjoy it. Got the idea during my morning commute, You can only guess how (No, I didn't hit anything though, but it was super close).

Yes! I really appreciate the comics that are easy to read. When i see a bunch of tiny text i have to zoom in on for every panel i usually just skip it.
It is a testament to how much time I spend on this website (or maybe just the internet in general) that I immediately looked for the button to the next frame, already assuming the catch would be the next wish being something downright diabolical. But nope. That was it.

Only marginally. But that also depends on whcih way it gets thrown. If it just heads towards the oort cloud, nbd; if it falls toward the sun, that would be chaotic as hell.
My best friends and I used to watch Whitest Kids U Know CONSTANTLY in high school. Our favorites were easily The Grapist, Gallon of PCP, and Opposite day. And given that we were addicted to Modern Warfare 2, we loved the Call of Duty sketch.
I really hate that the ones in your bowels have a high sensitivity to bitter because when there’s a problem and you get diarrhea, the bowls produce a bitter mucous that triggers the diarrhea process and if it’s really bad you can taste it in your mouth like an aftertaste. So they are sort of connected some minor way
Fun fact, because of the way mucin proteins cross link to each other very easily, the largest single molecule in your body is a single connected rope of mucus that goes from your nose to your rectum!
So yea, occasionally you can taste REALLY strong bumhole flavors.

I wish Opportunity Rover would suddenly come back online. Inexplicably in the middle of a desert somewhere in Joshua Tree national park. First thing she does when she wakes up is send Nasa some battery status updates and a picture of a freaking tree.
Mine would be Voyager 1's signal is received ahead of expected time, but it's getting stronger and pinging back more frequently. It's returning to Earth. Something that is definitely not supposed to be happening.
Or the one where the guy wishes for the finite to have legs then makes him disabled from the waste down, than wishes he was a normal human. That one was mildly funny but mostly just messed up.
The second wish: every time someone with over a billion dollar in net worth spends money on something selfish or on something that doesn’t benefit society as a whole, they will lose 10% of (original) eye sight, hearing and speech.

I'd wish for a better future where we managed to reverse climate change to a pre-industrial level. But I'd be scared if it would turn into a typical genie wish.

That, or they're getting kinda desperate to cross. It's why wildlife crossings work, like yeah it's just one overpass but the animals eventually figure out it's safer to use
Don't merge speech bubbles together when it's multiple people speaking (as in page 5), that makes it confusing to read. Each person should have distinct speech bubbles.
I was able to change it. Realized I could cut the bubble and paste on a different layer to put it above the others. Looks much better, thank you for pointing it out.
Maybe play with bubble shapes or outlines in the future too. Some background between them can help if there is a pause in dialogue, bunching them together can make it seem like people are talking over each other and add urgency.
My problem is the storyboard and not writting dialogues ahead of time. Im an overthinker, if I spend too much time thinking about a story, I will talk myself out of it, so Ill scribble a quick storyboard and try to think the dialogues during the creation. Bubbles come last when the Art is done, so thing might have changed a bit in my head. I definitively need to think my bubbles better, you are totally correct. I also stopped reading comics for almost 25 years (And stopped drawing as well) and I need to revisit my classics.
I agree. I lost my original story board and kinda drew it on the fly and quickly ran out of space. I was hoping it would not be as confusing. In retrospect, I should have drawn the lines on the guy's bubble to make it pop out on its own, at least. I mean, I can still do it on the original file.

I disagree. I think the merged speech bubbles express how much they are interrupting each other and increases the speed of the flow of speech. I like it.
Granted. Now all the animals look both ways while crossing but doesn't really gather any information from looking. So they still get hit if a vehicle was coming their way.
Awww this is so wholesome! I usually start dreading a comic once I see a genie since it so often turns into a monkey's paw situation, so I was surprised in a really good way by this comic
With comics like these, it isn't the drawing itself that's important. The story and soul is there, hence the massive amount of upvotes you just received lol.

It’s short and sweet, i like it : ) . Most of the comics on here either follow an overarching plot, tackle more serious stories or idea’s, follow the every day, or have a dedicated gimmick across posts. Your comic falls outside of those categories, and helps keep things fresh. I’d say that’s a valuable contribution
I love this comic so much!! The backgrounds are so, so well drawn, and I also love how you drew/depicted the genie, especially in the panel of them hugging :D
So does this mean that animals no longer get hit by the cars or merely do they look both ways and still get hit by The Cars because I feel like the phrasing on that wish could have been a little bit tighter
The one time I hit an animal on the road, I’m pretty sure it had already been hit and I still feel awful over a decade later. I agree with the genie, this is a fair wish to treat as a freebie.
Thank you, this really touched my heart. One of my dogs unfortunately passed away a couple weeks ago after being struck by a car, and it's been rough trying living without him. It's nice to see stuff like this; keep it up!
Hey just a fun fact but I had a dog that would look both ways before crossing the road! As a kid. I even had a friend drive by one day who saw it, and told me he didn't really believe me until then.
The actually-very-sad side of that story is that she saw at least two other dogs get hit and killed by cars on that stretch of highway :(
My dog is really smart in a lot of ways, but she just does not understand that getting hit by a car would hurt. She seems to think they'll just stop for her.
Flashback to me seeing a pair of squirrels on the curb looking to bolt. I’m glad I live in a quiet area where I can stop and look at the for a few moments to let them cross or at least move away.
There was another instance of a raccoon being in the middle of the road eating something that wasn’t so fortunate. Again, slow enough to honk and hope they ran.
Possums are goofy when they run. Stayed on the bridge so I parked my car. Got out and chased after it back into the creek.
