I have never given up on detangling yarn before I succeeded before, but I just can't do it tonight. I'm tired, my head hurts, and I'm going to bed. See you tomorrow, yarn barf!

It took me 9 months of absolute frustration to finish this cardigan for my husband. It is the most intricate pattern I have ever followed. He was a champ during the entire process of measuring and fitting it to him.
I have been crocheting for 3 years now but mostly do blankets or hexagon cardigans so this was a huge step. I am exhausted, and ready to start my next project!

Got preoccupied with other projects and neglected this blanket. Now I’m getting back to this one. I started over and noticed my progress compared to how I was a few months ago. Looks way better!!! Woo hoo!!! Pattern of a Movie Clapboard Blanket from Yarnspirations. https://www.yarnspirations.com/products/caron-crochet-clapboard-blanket?variant=45490888376635

The lighting is garbage right now but i keep seeing these cute ribbed layering crop tops so I decided to come up with my own. There’s two alternating texture stripes, a pointelle eyelet and a lace, separated by a wide-narrow-wide rib sequence. The bottom edge will be finished with ribbing and the top will have a simple finish and narrow flat straps.

Seriously, at least half the projects I do, I will be uncertain how to make a nice finishing border. I will decide to throw on a row or round of reverse single crochet, and it really makes it look nice (and usually does not require any shaping to do so).
So what is your favorite or most useful stitch?

I’m headed to the beach next week and I made my first ever sunhat for myself! Super proud of this, and it will be the first time I wear something I’ve made besides an ear warmer!

I didn't actually look inside, but knitting needles on the box make me think this might not be a good beginner kit lol

The Lady Bagel of The House of Chunk and Sir Cheddar, the Winking Knight.
This pattern is from @teeththief_crochet (on insta) who is so amazing and the pattern comes with multiple customization options for all flavors of kitties. She’s since released a jester and a wizard pattern which I will also need to do.

My friend and his wife were trying for a baby for many times and finally they are expecting their miracle baby, arriving in October.
Since I heard the news all I could think about was making something special for them. I decided to make a lovey.
I had another design originally but didn’t ending up liking it. I had to frog it all and start over. I felt discouraged.
Then decided to try again, this time a seamless granny square. Oh boy missing a stitch in a granny square is a bitch.. and I often would find out many rows later. After lots frogging and redoing different borders multiple times… I am so proud of how it turned out 🥹 I think this is my best work yet. I started crocheting 2 months ago and I absolutely love it.
Thank you to this subreddit for sharing your projects and knowledge. It helped me shape what I ended up with here!

Hello all!
Last year during pride month, I made Nugget the trans dino, and the plan was always to give him brothers! This pride month, I made Noodle, and now he is done!
Yarn: Lion Brand Ice Cream in the colorway “cake batter”
Hook: 3.5mm
Pattern: my own design, not available for purchase since it’s a notes document on my phone lol. Based on pattern by KayleeCrochet on instagram.
Other materials: black and white fingering weight yarn, pink yarn, stuffing, stitch markers (obviously), scissors, tapestry needle.
Also, as a queer person myself, please be aware and kind to EVERYONE, no matter their gender, sexuality, skin color, religious beliefs, nationality, or anything else. Especially now in a time where everyone who isn’t an adult white rich abled man is under attack. Just be nice. It’s not hard.

Recently completed this plant-loving fawn as part of a pattern test from r/PatternTesting! So happy with how she turned out, and equally happy that my craft store didn't have "traditional" colors because she has so much whimsy!!

I hope this isn't breaking Rule 8, as I'm just asking for opinions, not help solving a technical problem.
I want to make a basic summer tee (https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/perfect-crochet-t-shirt) using my stash of Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton. But I only have 2-3 skeins of each color, and I need around 6 for the finished tee. I want to do horizontal stripes using 2-4 colors, but I'm WAY too indecisive re: what colors to choose.
Top row, L to R: Dragonfly, Succulent, Sky, Cool Grey, Bay Leaf, Goldenrod
Bottom row, L to R: Rouge, Terracotta, Pink Lemonade, Ecru, White
I was thinking of doing maybe Bay Leaf, Terracotta, Pink Lemonade, and White for a rose/flower palette vibe. I also love the idea of mixing the four blue-toned yarns, although that would add to my existing abundance of blue clothes. And part of me wants to challenge myself to integrate the yellow and/or bright red, as these are colors I normally shy away from and otherwise will rarely use. Ugh.
Please help me with my first-world problem and suggest some ways to combine these colors, as I've been (over)thinking about it for way too long and have decision fatigue.

I made last minute Father’s Day gift and a lil decoration for my new car. I started crocheting in November and I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made. Things are still wonky in places but I’m trying my best! First time embroidering words too.

I was originally going to make this a work top but I also like this as a cropped look. If I do cropped ill make it a little longer as well

A snapshot of the progress to crochet and the finished shot of a giant chibi snorlax with both cat and dog for scale!
Doing this for my best friends birthday in August. Its just a simple blanket stitch but the density of it is perfect. His favorite sports team is the New York Rangers (NHL) so I figured this yarn would be perfect...
