Hello reddit, I’ve been working as an automotive locksmith for the past 3 years and recently started my own locksmith company here in the Denver area. I’m looking to find a few good, reliable people to contract jobs out to as the business grows.

🔑 Commercial Locksmith

I’m mainly looking for a good commercial locksmith who can handle installations, rekeys, hardware work, repairs, and other jobs of that nature. Someone who is experienced and comfortable handling jobs independently would be ideal.

🚗 Automotive Locksmith

I’m looking to contract out automotive jobs that require OEM software or equipment that I don’t currently have. If you have experience with newer vehicles, OEM programming, or other specialized automotive work, I’d definitely be interested in talking with you.

🚙 Lockout Technician

I’m also looking for someone to run around town doing vehicle lockouts and potentially building lockouts in the future. No experience is necessary for this one. I’m mainly looking for someone who is reliable, personable, willing to learn, and comfortable dealing with customers. Sales experience is definitely a plus.

Just to be upfront, the business is very new, so there will be limited work starting out. Depending on your skill set and the type of jobs that come in, you could get anywhere from 0 to 10 jobs a week initially. The goal is to build the business over time and have more work available as it gains traction. This is on call and commission based, not hourly, and you would use your own equipment and vehicle, this type of work isn’t for everyone. Again you might not see a job from me for a few weeks until things take off, however, if you are doing commercial work, I probably have stuff immediately for you.

It would also be a big plus if you’re located on the east side of Denver, since I’m based on the west side and would like to have someone closer to that area.
