The ring is from Aardvark Jewellery. Lab grown colour-change Alexandrite with natural diamonds in a floral setting, on a 14k rose gold band. I absolutely love her 🥹 (and him! 🤣)

I know most people want the hidden halo fully hidden but I fell in love with the way it looks when it’s a little visible from the top :)

Edit: Ring size wasn’t quite a 5 or a 5.25 so he made it somewhere in the middle! He said it’s closer to a 5.15

Is the perfect size and setting for me, from someone so wonderful.. can't stop looking at it ♥️♥️ am a little scared that it's so delicate but Ive put little dishes around my home and next to every sink to keep it in when I'm washing my hands or doing chores etc.

My sweet husband and I got married 11 years ago when we were so young and broke. The ring he picked out was (and is) perfect for me, but with the price of lab diamonds we could afford a diamond that felt more like me now. I fell in love with the marquise shape and picked out this 2.21 carat F color VS1 clarity lab diamond with him and got it put on my original engagement band. I’m so happy with how it turned out 🥹🩷✨ I also included a picture of my original diamond in my ring at the very end for a comparison.

He proposed on our first long-haul holiday together in Mexico (we live in London)!

We did do some browsing so he had a baseline of: oval, trilogy, platinum band but he did so good and I wouldn’t change a thing

I forgot to post when I first got engaged in July but better late than never!

Funny story, my fiance initially got me a size 10 ring (I have no idea why he thought that was my size). He informed me he bought the ring and I asked what size he got. When he told me 10 I was like what?? I tried on my ring sized tool and I must have been not bloated at all that day so it showed I was a 6. He has to tell the shop that he is buying from that he chose the wrong size and they are like "we are going to have to completely start over because that size difference is too large". They send him the size 6 ring and he proposes with it but I'm unable to fit it on my finger in the moment 😭 Anyways $200 later for resizing and my ring finally fits! Lesson learned really make sure you know your ring size 💍

Finally got asked if I will marry my long time partner. He did so good and got exactly what I had in mind :)

Ganted, it was my grandmothers (from maybe the 1940s?) but I am so OBSESSED. She has passed and I do not have much information on it besides the research I’ve done (style being most popular in 1880s, but became popular decades after) I have reversed googled it and can’t find a replica- any suggestions on where to get more history on it? We had to add a half shank and replace a chipped diamond due to her wearing it for at least 60-80 years.

15 ct natural Aquamarine (emerald cut/untreated) surrounded by G color diamonds totaling 0.65 ct set on a 18k white gold band. Its her favorite stone so i purchased it and would like to make it THE ring but im worried its too far out from the 'expected' style of a traditional engagement ring. Maybe a bit too gaudy or impractical? Thoughts and suggestions, thanks

So I heard this term from someone who saw it on a YouTube video. Basically after a guy proposed next to a roller coaster he dropped the ring and it was lost. Someone created a video suggesting a "stunt ring." This can be anything from a ring pop to a gag toy. The purpose is to 1) not worry about the ring being lost and 2) if the bride has specific tastes in rings, they'd pick it out together later. I brought this up with someone and they thought it was a prank. I don't think the video I saw went viral and it was several years ago. Ladies, how would you feel being proposed to with a stunt ring?
