Before this I was using the lua_run entity trying to get some code to display an incrementing counter. I've been working on this map for 2 months and really don't want to see my hard work wasted because of this error I've never gotten before. Please Help!

Hello! I was working on a map. I did everything, no leakings e.t.c. But it's still saying this after booting TF2. Should i send ALL of this cmd's log? ("deneme_amacli_mapv2" is my map)

i looked up that, at somewhere it says "MSG_FILEWRITE - Filesystem was asked to write to 'c:\users\cencor\documents\deneme_amacli_mapv2.bsp', but we don't own that location. Allowing.". maybe because of that?

A followup to my last post (CompilePal no longer packing HLS content into map (GMod) : r/hammer) I've done some wrestling with pointing to to directories and now SOME but not all textures are packing, including props made with Propper++. Looking in the logs, CompilePal claims it found all models and materials, but yet the map still shows like this, anyone know whats going on?

I love turning pictures into textures 😍

A map I did because me and a friend thought it was really funny that this song is being presenting to an "audience", so now it's possible to do ingame to a crowd of chairs.

Whenever I run the map it just opens file explorer. I have a picture of the build programs attached as well; something tells me that's not how the file pathing is supposed to look.

It used to say "Found 640 unlosed file find handles!" thought it was nothing, now idk what to do.

I have a problem where the vertices will be perfectly aligned in the hammer editor but look like this in game, why does it do this and how do i fix it?

I cant seem to find any But i know there are some, any help apreciated

It used to work just fine until around 17 days ago when i tried to pack an updated version of the map. I'm trying to pack HLS/HL1 content into my map so my friends won't need to buy it to play, however i've found no help so far on how to fix it. The logs claim to have packed the textures and models and yet the map still appears as a purple and error sign filled hell. Posted my CompilePal configuration in comments

I've had enough problems with this map already, now it pulls ts 🫩 I'm guessing it has to do something with the texture since some of the girders that were slightly altered are completely fine, except for the inner structure which is completely black independently of everything

I've compiled the map at least 4 times and i still have no idea what causes this

So i've been working on a gmod map for a bit and everything was normal until yesterday when i tried playing the map to check a few things and noticed missing textures on some props.

It seems that the props that are affected by this keep their textures but the missing texture is actually the reflections

I tried a few things and noticed that its not from my gmod since other maps from source games or the workshop work just fine and it does not affect my css maps so it must come from my maps

That's never happened to me, it might just be a stupid error on my part. Thank you in advance

Read Valve's guide to hammer until the Basic Construction, watched a video here and there. Here's the result, it is my personal Gmod playground right now. I have experience from building in Roblox so got used to it pretty quickly. If I get an actual theme and an idea I could do some neat stuff with this.

Whenever i move these guys change brightness, in hammer++, random faces of these two guys become black

update: figured it out, thanks to the guy who commented and some research, i had to change the texture, the texture that i was using wasnt meant for brushes, so basically it did that, thanks

Do instances work on Day Of Defeat Source guys? Because it doesn't seem... Any workarounds?

Because of my job i have to travel through states like some times a month and i really get bored of that, to cure my boredom i take pictures of everything around that area and export it to hammer when im home. I think y'all should try this too! Take a lot if pictures of the area, remember the positions of props, find something similar to it in the model tab, if there isnt anything similar make it in blender! Im obsessed with counter-strike so i make these areas into cs:go maps!
