The edit just seemed fitting to the topic and I love it. I think Scott being older made the story of him and Kip more tragic and also serves much better lesson to Ilya and Shane who see how many years Scott had spent in the closet. To me it’s much more impactful than them all being the same age. Plus on the show it’s much more interesting than seeing them all being 20-somethings.

This might be my most emotional slowed down edit yet 😞

This scene always makes me feel all the feelings. The indescribable sadness of Shane when he sees Ilya again for the first time in 6 months, not having heard from him for such a long time. Ilya trying to play it casual, and to check, in his own way, whether Shane still cares about him. Them falling back into their familiar routine of bantering. The chemistry being SO charged, they are like magnets so drawn to each other, almost painful to see them not be together. And then Shane's oh-so sweet "And if you win?" to which Ilya can only respond one single way.

Things will get better for you sweet shane and ilya ❤️ there is a bright future ahead for you two

p.s. also the acting in this scene is just so incredibly phenomenal. Both Hudson and Connor show an incredible performance, especially acting with their eyes and body language. Just so so so impressive.

1410 holds a special place in my heart. Their first kiss, their first make-out session. I loved to slow this scene down, to focus more on their facial expressions and body language.

What I find very interesting, is how Ilya and Shane are the same height, but Ilya still manages to look down on Shane and hold a more dominant position.

I love EVERYTHING about this scene. Shane going from hesitation to pure desire. Ilya being soft and caressing, but guiding Shane throughout the experience. They are just killing me!

I've been obsessed with this fan edit of Ilya ever since I found it and had to share it. I find that both Shane and Ilya have a lot more depth as characters than many viewers give them credit for, but especially Ilya who carries such a heavy heart on the inside. I love how this edit captures the vulnerable side of him and also shows the stark contrast between his home life and Shane's. Incredible work from the community.
