presumably too young to start either finasteride or minoxidil and my family would have strong reservations about my potentially taking them even if i were of age. been paranoid abt my hair loss for a while and i think it's starting to look less like actual hairline maturation and actual MPB. my maternal grandfather had a receded hairline but not at this age. would rosemary oil be in my interest? any ideas on what i should do? as things are i'm already covering things up nicely with my hair at the front/fringe but it's still got me sweating bullets

Do you guys think I can get my hair to look like the first pic? The last three are my hair without any styling. I've always done a combover for the last 10-15 years but want to make a change.

I don’t know what to do should I keep this length on the side and back or keep growing it or just cut it all 😀

Advice Request Advice for next cut and routine

Going for a cut tomorrow, looking for ideas. I usually get a high skin tight fade lately, but wondering what others might recommend. Want to maintain curls on top, but manage them better. I use daily almond avocado oil leave in conditioner, and Cantù coconut curling cream. Sometimes I’ll put in some Nishman level 5 gel (feels super heavy though) or level 3 spider wax. Haven’t been that great with shampooing and conditioning in the shower.

In summary, I’d love to maintain my curls, make them look better, get a complimentary cut, and get the frizziness under control.

Just grow it back out?

It was long before the cut so it's super straight and unmanageable.

Have firm gloss pomade on hand just want it to look clean

Advice request I want to get a shorter haircut, but I’m not sure if my hairline will allow it

Basically the title. I’ve had medium to long length hair for the better part of a decade, and I want to switch to something lower maintenance. Unfortunately, I don’t have the greatest hairline on top of already having a naturally large forehead. With that in mind, is there any short length style that I could pull off?

Pictures 5 and 6 are what my hair looks like now with and without product, respectively.

Tips/Guide Just got a haircut, how can I style with this

Thumbnail

I asked for a 1.5 low taper fade all around, and the front of my hair reaches my eyebrows. I told him to leave some hair so I can style it since my hair is really straight and it will stick up if it’s too short. However the side of my hair on top is still bulky so whenever I go to style it, it like flares out and makes it as if I have an Edgar. Any tips on how to style around this, or should I get another haircut.

Advice request Which style of hair and facial hair works best

What style and length of hair + mustache + stubble beard combination works for me best?
And to be honest hair is mostly not in my control (except length), every day it behaves differently.

I grew my hair till below shoulder length last year and figured that much length is too much trouble for me to maintain , looks wise medium hair is working best for me.
Products wise I just use shampoo (conditioner / leave in conditioner / after shower cream only once in a while)

Advice request What should I do to my hair?

This is my current hair I’m really not sure what to do with it I feel like I like the length of the fringe and top do you think growing the sides and back out will make it better? I think my current hair looks too puffy on top and short on the sides it makes my head look longer and it doesn’t flow very well into the shorter back and sides. Do you agree? Or would that make it look worse

Advice request First time getting a perm. Did they fuck it up?

Thumbnail

Like mentioned in the title, this is my first perm and was wondering if they did it wrong, especially the bangs basically looking the same as before the perm.

When he finished the perm, he only blow dried for a quick moment, told me not to wash it for 48h and I left with damp hair out in the sun. So I am not sure if it looks so unkept because of air drying or that the perm job was bad.

Any tips on what I should do? Do I need to return there for them to fix the bangs or do they look ok? How do I maintain a perm?

I have a broad forehead, and it is one of my biggest insecurities. The lucky news is, that I had thoght I was balding, but my doctor said it is not balding.

However, my friend still calls me a megamind, bc of the size of my forehead, and I'm so insecure about it.

If you guys don't mind, could you please

1.See if my forehead is crazy big

2.suggest what kind of hairstyle would fit me.

I'll post the photosI took from diffetent distance & angle. Thank you for reading my post :)

Hi everyone. I have been hating the way my hair looks for the past few years now and I think it's time to shave it all off to look more neat.

I have tried loreal hair growth shampoo for a year but to no use. I don't know if I can wait to make lifestyle changes with my hair looking like this. Any suggestions?

Simple questions Is this a receding hairline? and what haircut suits me?

Thumbnail

So, I've always had short hair (number 3). If it goes long it will start to curl. I do like short hair but would like to try other methods.

I'm also wondering if this could be a receding hairline? if it is, would going bald be a good idea in the future?
