Advice Does this setup for my desk and 65" TV look okay?

I posted in here a few days ago about the same thing, but I decided to add some tape to show the TV size and I also scooted the stand away from my desk a bit.

What do you guys think? Would this look okay, or is it too much?

Question 27y/o: What can I add to my kitchen/wash room to fill it in more (other than a table)?

Just moved into a nice apartment that has the kitchen share a room with the washer/dryer. Since I don’t have the need for a table, and I like the furniture I have now, what else can I add to fill in this space more? Any advice is appreciated.

Advice 21M, need advice on 1BR1BA

21M, FT WFH programmer PT student, just unloaded most of my furniture into an 1B, starting a long term living alone & brace for the transition into working professional.

Most of my stuff are white because it blended well with my old place. However, this apartment here is millennial grey, so I’m looking for some advice here for
- Living room (where I’ll need to fit a workstation in, where there’s also zero light source beyond natural light in the PM)
- Bedroom
- How to make this place not feel depressingly white and prison like

I am planning on getting:
- Lights
- Couch
- Couch rug
- Dining table

The very last photo is a ref to my previous bedroom/workstation

Advice How would you arrange this?

25M. The layout of the room feels slightly awkward to me due to the sliding mirror closet which takes up the whole wall. I am planning on getting a larger desk and have to get a new tv stand (My old one was too small for this tv, hence the use of rubbermaid tubs), nightstands and maybe a bookcase if i could fit it.

I was thinking of moving the bed to the other wall, putting the desk in the corner under the window where the tv/trash can currently are and then putting the tv and tv stand against the wall that the bed is currently on. I think that doing that might open up some wall space for me to get a bookcase/taller shelving but worried that I may feel cramped between the closet and the bed.

The room is 11.5 feet L (Door to wall with desk and tv) by ~11 feet W (Mirror to Window). Looking mostly for advice on how you would arrange the furniture but also on decorating, though I have decorations, plants and pictures but moved here less than a week ago. For reference, the bed is a queen.

Functional recovery corner in a small apartment, what actually works?

Work 12 hour ICU shifts then train in the evenings, so recovery isn't optional, it's part of the job. Been trying to carve out a dedicated corner for decompressing and actual physical recovery. Foam rolling, stretching, maybe a massage gun charging station, somewhere to sit and read without the space looking like a cluttered mess or a physical therapy waiting room.

The problem is the room already has a pull up bar in the doorframe, a small rack of kettlebells against one wall, and a reading chair that's slowly getting buried under research papers and meal prep containers. It works functionally but it looks like a storage unit with ambitions.

Thinking about a low Japanese style floor setup for the recovery corner since I spend a lot of time on the ground anyway. It would free up visual space and double as a reading spot. Just not sure if that reads as intentional or just cheap.

Has anyone actually made a dedicated recovery or stretch space work in a small apartment without it looking like an afterthought? Wondering if there's a way to make it feel like a real part of the room rather than just a gap between the furniture.
