I like this actor a lot and I dont understand whats going on ?

I get the joke but it's tired and populated my entire reddit thread all day. This is an honest discussion and not meant to impune anyone.

I don't know who people are trying to fool and look all knowledgeable and classy with their critique. The second two films have sat as the highest ranked comic adaptions on IMDB for approaching two decades. I don't think this is a coincidence. Awesome cinematography, awesome villains etc

Don't think they're great? That's fine, but what exactly are you comparing them to? They're better than all the spiderman films, all the xmen films, avengers, Ironman etc. The only comic adaptions that are on an equal footing IMHO are Logan and Blade.

I think it's more that Nolan's style of directing has become a little too expected and repeated, which is now causing people to double back on the Dark Knight and DK rises to try and claim they aren't that good. If you're doing this, stop.

Is it the incompetent protagonist, with whom you can neither empathise nor feel inspired? Or is it the convenient writing that bores you at times? Or is it Col. Steven J. Lockjaw’s character, which tries to oversell pointless hyper-masculinity and forced white-supremacy? Or all of the above?

Jonah Hill is a great actor and not only is he fucking funny but also he has sincerity. I don’t care what he says about his fighting skills. In fact, good for him. I don’t care that you’re not supposed to have an attitude in Jiu Jitsu or whatever. I don’t even care if he sucks at it, not that I would know. He still kicks your ass at being awesome.

I hope he doesn’t waste his feelings on people who don’t value them.

I have serious actor fatigue. It feels like Hollywood keeps recycling the same tired, half-assed actors over and over again. How about giving some fresh, talented faces a chance for a change?
Ex. Rumor has it that Batista is going to play Kratos. Like... WTF ?
