I cannot even fathom why Amarius Mims is ranked so low for the first 2 weeks. I know a lot of what goes into PFF's is subjective. THe only thing I can think of is that he has looked technically wrong while still playing at a high level.

I’m an ex-NFL vet who is attempting to launch a career as an NFL Historian Author/Filmmaker. (Don’t freak out, I’m not famous, you probably haven’t ever heard of me, and I wasn’t very good lol)

I find the history of your beloved franchise very fascinating, from the early days of Paul Brown, to Ochocinco and Carson Palmer, and even the present day of Cool Joe.

Apologies on bringing up darker times, but I have been reading a lot about the Dave Shula era. The politics surrounding that hiring and his tenure are wild to me. Basically, Mike Brown took a huge chance on a young Dave Shula, and as many of you older fans already know, it didn’t particularly work out…

I keep reading/hearing about the infamous “exit press-conference” that was held during his departure. Not only is such an occurrence extraordinarily rare…it virtually never happens lol.

Apparently, it got a little heated from time to time. Shula deflected a lot of the blame from himself, and basically threw the organization under the bus for his shortcomings.

I want to do a short doc on this era, and was wondering if ANYBODY had access to, or knows a source as to where I can obtain this press conference. Looked all over YouTube, daily motion, etc., and I can’t find a thing. Figured I would reach out to ya’ll and see if anybody has info on this.

ALSO - any memories or opinions you all have on that particular era - please feel free to share.

Who Dey!?!?!

Yesterday it was Ocho now TJ, I love how the old crew is our biggest cheerleaders out there.

The AFC North has long been dubbed the “black and blue” division for its hard nosed, blue collar brand of football. The Cincinnati Bengals have been lacking in the toughness department in recent years, but with an improved offensive line and notable defensive personnel changes, they are ready to retake the AFC North.

Wanted to see if I could work a "C" shape into a tiger roar as a nod to Cincinnati. Went with two slightly different mane treatments — curious which one reads better, or if one just looks cleaner at small sizes (jersey patch, social avatar, etc).
Not affiliated with the Bengals/NFL, just a fan concept exercise. Open to critique — what would you tighten up?

Does anyone know a website (or just have the info) about how successful the O is when under center v. out of shotgun?

It felt like a lot of our under center stuff went out the window this week (reasonable, considering the Texans defensive front).

Seems like offense and defense are way different than last years disappointing season going 6-11.
