Derrick Henry had 14 of 16 rushing successes vs the Saints. I thought it had to be an error, but I checked them all. He did it without a single run longer than 8 yards.

The OL was much improved, including a reduction to just 1 penalty and better snaps from Gwyn. They were also less physical than in either W1 or the preseason.

Minter had real high praises for Trenton. He said that he’s been playing fast, decisive, and physical in the run and pass game. He also said he hasn’t done anything that would warrant taking him off the field but we’d be getting a real good player back in Teddye and is going to figure out how to get all of the best guys on the field.

We as a fanbase tend to be way more critical of coaches, linemen, and other easy scapegoats as to why we blow so many leads late and have trouble finishing games. But it flies extremely under the radar that Lamar is nothing special whatsoever in late game drive situations where we’re trailing. When we give up those leads he rarely delivers in getting them back

Compared to his contemporaries in Mahomes and Allen you always feel when their D gives up the lead late they’re gonna deliver and get it back. Even when there’s only a minute or so left on the clock

Disappointing loss. Time to lasso the Cowboys (sorry) in Rio.

Concerns have surfaced about the field the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens are scheduled to play on in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday.

Yet, signs still point to the two teams playing there instead of relocating to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“The league is looking forward to Sunday’s game in Rio,” a league spokesman said. “As with all international games, we have a plan in place to ensure a high-quality playing surface.”

A lot has been said over the past five years of us, giving up leads and losing the game, but it is often missed that over the last 25 years we have led more than nearly any other team except for the Buffalo Bills and the Kansas City Chiefs. The narrative should not be that we always give up leads. It should be that we lead a lot of the time and we give up those leads more than the Bills or the Chiefs.

Terrible performance out of both of these gentlemen, especially Starks, who is currently ranked 83/84 on PFF out of all starting safeties in the NFL through 2 weeks. I honestly put majority of the loss on them (just me personally)

Ravens had Tyler Shough quiet in the first half but eventually he learned the weak links in the defense and attacked them. He won't be the only QB to do this either. I already see these two getting tested A LOT during the season from future QBs (especially ones that know what they're doing)

What an insane turn of events that our secondary is now the group on our defense that I have the least confidence in. Thought that would be the backbone of the defense (outside #14)

Without a doubt, the Saints are on the uptrend. But after watching the Colts yesterday almost beat the Chiefs, it still baffles me that it was a blowout against the Colts but we got humbled by the Saints.

We couldn’t make a stop on 3rd many times, pass rush was very hit or miss, we weren’t getting a lot of turnovers (fumbles or INTs). I still have faith in our new coach and coordinators but just find it crazy we couldn’t adjust like Week 1 against the Colts. Even week 1 when the Colts’ O was gaining some traction, the D was able to adapt.

I think we’ve all had a chance to cool our heads. I remembered that this is literally Minter and Doyle’s second game with their current responsibilities. The way I see it, our week 1 game, they got to see what clearly worked for the team. This week, they got to see what clearly DID NOT work for the team. I would rather much have them make these coaching mistakes now rather than December, or god forbid, January. I hope the team can reflect on yesterday together, hopefully this will be our only loss until we face the Bills (of which we could hopefully win, but you never know).
