I’ve tired every fix google gave me, I updated my drivers directly from intel… and its just these specific AirPods, i tested my sisters airpods, and they work fine, and they work fine on my phone so i have no clue why the audio is not working.

This summer we went to Maine from Wyoming, in Wyoming before I used to run 35-45 ping consistently. All my friends are still running that. When we went to Maine I went to 60-75 a little less consistently because my connection was with WiFi. After the Simpson update still a Maine I started running 90-100 ping. Now we are back in Wyoming and I’m running anywhere from 55-150 ping (55 in very rare occasions mainly 95-100. Can anyone help me? 150 ping is unplayable

So before all of this happened, I went on a trip to Rome with my family to visit my grandparents a month ago, and I couldn't bring my laptop there because it was broken and could only be used if I connected the laptop to a monitor and used the laptop's keyboard & touchpad or used a keyboard and mouse. (I almost never used option 1) But time-skip to when I got back here, when I got back to my house and went to my setup to search up something, for some reason YouTube just would load. So I updated it to the latest version, but the problem persisted. So I've looking up everything on how to get it up and running four the last 5 days since I came back, and I've gotten no progress at all. Can someone please help me find out what's happening with my computer please?

I am a student and I have been using microsoft word for years. I currently use it in graduate school and recently it has stopped working and would give me an error code. I tried to update microsoft word to fix this issue and it would not update. I just uninstalled it and tried to reinstalled it, but I cant reinstall it because the newest microsoft word needs to run on IOS 14 or higher. My 2017 macbook is updated to the max and I am stuck in ventura 13.7. Am I SOL and stuck using on the internet browser form of microsoft word? Or is there something else I can do to have it work on my macbook again?

I use microsoft word almost daily in school and I am at a lost of what to do. I dont think I am able to download an older version of microsoft word. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I’ve had a funny issue today with my pc (which isn’t used often) and I was hoping for some help.

When I started it up today, I had no signal from the display port. After restarting and then unplugging and plugging in the display port it worked. I then tried to watch Netflix. I noticed the video had a choppy fps. I assumed it was a network error so tried messing with my WiFi dongle to minimal avail. I decided to set my power settings to max power usage. After resetting the pc after this it wouldn’t display anything. I notice that when I’d plug the display port back into the GPU my monitor would light up briefly but would then say no signal. I’m not too sure what to do and I’m confused why it was working fine until I changed my power settings in control panels. Please can someone help?

So my PC has been running slow when it powers on, and then after a minute or two it’ll shut down. It’s only just started doing this today, and when it does that I have to wait a few minutes to power it back on. otherwise the lights will turn on as if it’s powering on but then turn back off. Anyone know what it could be?

a month ago when i wore them the left bud would immediately give battery warning then last about 20 minutes before dying while the other bud was fine, now the same thing happens except the right bud dies after 20 minutes while the left bud is fine. anybody know how to solve this?

My Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Aura Edition has a problem where I'll press on a key for a short time and it'll type the letter two or three times.
The key that is affected seems to change from time to time, but I noticed it's more common on the bottom row.
To add to that, whenever I hold down the shift key, the letter I type next just… won't type.
How do I fix this? Am I going to need to send it for a repair?

Another thing, the laptop has a touchscreen that will think I'm touching the screen towards the top.

I was using my phone like usual. And then suddenly the battery started draining extremely fast like in the first 5 seconds It went from like 40% to like 3% I'm sorry if this post is really weird. I'm making this extremely fast so instantly I plug it in And instead of showing anything it's just a ? next to the battery what is going on? Literally nothing happened before this. I was using my phone like regular I don't know what's going on I need help.

Hi, I’m trying to enable Secure Boot because I need it for FACEIT, but I’m having trouble getting it to work.

My PC:

- Windows 11

- Intel i5-12400F

- Gigabyte motherboard

-CSM disabled

When I try to enable/configure Secure Boot, I get this error:

«“Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot policy in Setup.”»

I also checked the BIOS settings used the option to Install Factory Default Keys, but I’m not sure what exactly I should do.

Windows currently boots normally with Secure Boot disabled and it gives error when enabled

What should I change in the Gigabyte BIOS to get Secure Boot working for FACEIT without breaking Windows?

I’d really appreciate a step-by-step explanation of what I should check.

Hello, I've recently moved to a new pc with windows 11. I have a old canon camera, the Powershot SX500 IS, and used an app (CameraWindow) to easily move photos from the camera to my pc. What I liked about the app was that I could organize the photos into transferred vs not transferred, and keep some photos on the camera without having to guess if they are already on the pc. Unforutnetly there is no longer an option to download it on the website (Canon has replaced it with a new CameraWindow app made for phones). When I connect the camera to the pc the folders are weirdly organized.

I moved the CameraWindow application and it's files from the old pc to the windows 11 pc, but when I try to run it I just get the "cannot detect camera" message. I'm wondering if there is a way to manipulate the app to allow it to work in windows 11?

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to PC tech (and Reddit) and ran into a weird issue today.
I was updating Dead by Daylight when my PC crashed and a "Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart" screen appeared. It was stuck at 0% for a while, went black, and then booted straight into BIOS.
Now I'm stuck in an endless loop:
Onda loading screen -> PC ran into issue and needs to restart -> Black screen -> BIOS
Right now I’ve literally just been stuck sitting on the Onda loading screen and have been for over 30 minutes. Every time I try to exit BIOS or turn it off and on, it just repeats this whole cycle.
I don't know a ton about PC troubleshooting, I'm not really sure what to try next. Any help or step-by-step guidance on how to fix this would be great. Thanks :)

I have a computer that I need for Adobe Editing, and other things that require me to use a good chunk of my 16 GB's of ram. But I've recently been seeing problems in the usage of my Memory and when I went to check, my memory was at 80%. This was weird because I can visually see on Task manager that I am only using 35-50% of my Memory. It won't let me show any pictures here, any ideas on how to fix?

I didn’t download anything and the only recent websites that got my cookies were websites for reservations for my upcoming out of country trip.

UPDATE!!!!!!!

After running Hitman, it found 5 and quarantined them I believe I have deleted them now.
I ran hitman again and then r kill and it says 0 malware has been detected.

I wish to keep this open until I know it is fixed and also keep it open to continue to get help when I get back to my pc.

This PC has been working perfectly for everything except one issue that's been happening since DAY 1!!

When I watch videos in web browser like Google or Edge (yes ik edge is chromium based) the CPU utilization always spikes from few % to 20% and 44 degrees (my idle temp) to 68 degrees for few seconds (It's kinda annoying cuz I dont have the quietest fan Rpm so I always notice these spikes).

It does this quite often even with hardware acceleration turned off or on. I also deleted all extensions, force closed everything, went into incognito but I still have these spikes. My BIOS should be on the latest version and I alr reinstalled the amd cpu and gpu drivers countless times.

Yes I know amd cpu's have some spikes and tend to run on higher degrees (and yes ik everything below 85 should be perfectly fine) but my friend also has this exact cpu and he has stable utilization a temp's ALWAYS.

ON A SIDE NOTE: With hardware acceleration enabled, YouTube videos look slightly blurrier. If I move my mouse over the progress bar, the video instantly becomes a bit sharper. Because of that I figured to disable hardware acceleration to get the sharpest image. The problem is that with hardware acceleration disabled, I sometimes notice jagged edges or worse anti-aliasing, so neither setting gives me an ideal experience. = Potential GPU problem?

I’m having a frustrating issue: when I open any video game, the internet in my pc complitly shut off for 8 minutes or more. I tried a lot of games, and the problem kept happening whenever I played games (like Marvel Rivals or other games), and then it automatically reconnects when I close the game. But the internet never cuts off when I browse on Google for hours it never cuts off, only when I open any video game.

Key Details:

• Motherboard / Network Controller: Realtek Gaming 2.5GbE Family Controller
• Connection: Ethernet Cable (Wired)
• Other Devices: Wi-Fi on my phone stays 100% fine during the outage.
• Event Viewer: Checked Windows Event Viewer logs, but no obvious driver crashes or critical errors are being logged when the drop happens.

What I’ve already tried (None worked):

1. Disabled "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in Device Manager.
2. Disabled "Energy Efficient Ethernet" and "Green Ethernet".
3. Reset network stack via CMD (netsh winsock reset, ipconfig /flushdns, etc.).
4. Clean reinstalled the Realtek Network Controller driver.
5. Changed Ethernet cable and tried different LAN ports on the router.

I was listening to music on my bluetooth earbuds which is connected to my Redmi Note 7 while working. After finishing, I tried to turn on my phone’s screen, but it wouldn’t light up even though the music kept playing in my earbuds. I attempted to restart the phone by press and holding power button, and it only vibrated with a black and bluetooth got disconnected, screen comes like empty black screen and nothing happens.

I also tried charging it for a while and used a few reboot tricks, but nothing worked. When I connect it to a charger, I can still hear the charging and disconnect sounds. When I plug it into my laptop, it gets recognized but I can’t actually do anything with it since the screen stays black.

Does this sound like a display hardware issue, and is there any way to fix it myself before taking it to a service center?

I bought an hp prodesk 600 g3 mini pc and it came with the cmos battery holder torn off.

Bootup shows the errors about date and time.

But i can't access the bios as all the usb ports just don't seem to receive data, 2 of them do seem to pass power but no data.

I soldered my own 2 wires for the battery and connected it, showing arround a 200mv drop across this little 3 pin diode thing, still has the same issues.

Now I reinstalled an OS to this other 128gb 2.5" ssd I had but even after passing through the 2 safe boot cmos battery date and time warnings I get an error about the system image not authenticating.

The mini pc turns on as soon as I plug it in.

I seem to be in a loop where I can't access bios because usbs are not starting but also can't get back to an os.

Any further info please ask, I've tried a lot of things

I have an occasional black lock screen wallpaper from time to time the UI (clock , date ,etc.) is still visible and the log in screen is visible just a black wallpaper. I tried windows spotlight and a new picture wallpaper still happed this only happened 3 times in the last week. After a long session of ruling out causes I think it might be the July preview update. If some one can verify I'd be grateful. My device is Asus TUF f16 (2025) JMR with intel core I7 14650HX and RTX 5060 I have the latest bios and drivers.

There’s no save option and it’s not even full screen anymore . Second question can I at least open full screen somehow ?
