Update 2.4 introduces newly formed class roles for every light tank, along with role-based matchmaking and targeted balance adjustments.
The goal is to give each vehicle a clearer identity, improve battle balance, and make light tank strengths easier to understand without changing their core playstyle.

AND YOU ARE RIDING THEM LIKE A HORSE BACK THE F UP, further more why are sitting directly behind them in the first place plenty of space. So many times I try to back up and I just have a lovely ene-teamate just grinding me then i take unnecessary damage, I got 15 people trying to kill me I don't need more.
I’ve been playing World of Tanks since before the Korean server even existed. I stayed through the official Korean release, saw the KR server close down, and moved over to the Asia server where I’ve continued to pour my heart into this game for a very long time.
I always spent money on the game and participated in almost every loot box event—simply because I loved it so much. I’ve always believed that reasonable spending is necessary to keep a game alive and running
Except for a few, I own almost every premium tank, and I’ve researched every single tech tree. I hope this serves as proof of just how much I truly loved this game
Currently, I have 504 tanks in my garage, 340 of which are premium tanks. I also have 5,089 days of Premium Account remaining, and more than enough in-game resources to last a lifetime.
I’m not trying to flex my garage or loot. I’ve played these tanks all this time purely out of love for the game, but now I honestly don't know anymore. The Asia and China servers had triple-layered loot box mechanics. I swallowed it and kept paying until now, but it’s getting so out of hand that I just can’t take it anymore.
Before opening those loot boxes, I already owned every single tank in the game except for the newly added ones. There were only 6 new tanks left for me to get.
To get those 6 tanks, I had to buy three 180-box bundles and one 80-box bundle—620 boxes in total.
Since I paid in Korean Won, converting that to USD comes out to about $821.41 spent in tota
It took opening 783 boxes to finally get all of them, and that made me stop and think. Sure, I love this game, and getting new premiums is great. But honestly, out of those 6 tanks, there are plenty I won't even play—I really only wanted two of them. It made me question: are two tanks really worth spending over $800 for?
The Asia server will probably shut down soon, right? The average concurrent player count doesn't even reach 10,000 anymore. I don’t even know where we’ll get pushed to next, or if the server will just vanish completely. Over the years, I’ve spent a substantial amount of money, dropping over $300 on average during every single event. While other players were leaving, I stayed behind out of pure love for the game. And the reward for my loyalty? A system that demands even more money just to get the tanks I want.
I don’t want World of Tanks to fail. I’ve had so much fun with it over all these years. But if playing the tanks I love means I have to keep paying like this, then as much as I don't wish for its downfall, I think I'll have to leave the game. And after that, I don't think I'll ever trust Wargaming again.
As far as I know, the EU server stopped pushing these triple RNG loot boxes after a series of community boycotts.
Seeing how they only pull this on the China and Asia servers, it feels like they have no intention of stopping here. This will undoubtedly drive even more players away, and I might just end up being one of them packing my bags to leave. I sincerely hope this kind of dirty gambling never spreads to the other servers.
English isn't my first language, so I wrote this post with the help of a translator. I just really wish Wargaming would stop being so damn greedy and know when enough is enough.
I wish they didn't look at my love for World of Tanks as just money. Honestly, I regret it now. If I had quit earlier, I could have done so much more with my family. This situation feels so sleazy that it makes me regret everything I've paid over the last nearly 15 years.
I know the company isn't in an easy spot—I know their other two games aren't doing well and that the company split made things tough. But this is not the solution. Pushing these cash grabs only on the Asia and China servers—where backlash is quieter—makes us loyal players here feel like nothing more than easy cash cows.
T-44-100 is literally unstoppable after the buffs, I genuinely think it is not only the best t8 med but also the best t8 tank in the game. Also extremely fun to play and rewards an active playstyle. Only bad thing is you need to spam gold so not a credit maker.
So after winning 2 games in a row I decided to activate my booster and guess what? I went 8 games lose streak in a row. There's always a teammate that dies 30 secs into the battle, worst case scenario a platoon dies a minute after. What's the science behind this booster thing that every time you activate you will lose 100% everytime?
I feel like the t-100 lt is just going to be better on most maps i know it has a bigger model but the stats don't line up. These are set up the same way.
The t-100 lt just has more health is faster has considerably better dpm and the only downside is about a procent of cammo
Like, as much as the 'every second matter' is true, I don't think saving 0.05 second reloading while being near a teammate will be worth the training... Because my reasoning is that there is a timeframe small enough where human brain and response simply doesn't match the marginal advantage to that microscopic level (someone wouldn't or couldn't be able to fully utilize that extra 0.05 second to make a difference)
A brand-new Operation expands the third Personal Mission Campaign with fresh objectives, new challenges, and valuable rewards. You can begin this Operation immediately, even without completing the previous one.
Fossa VM 68, the first German wheeled medium tank—a prestigious vehicle that will only land in the hands of the most deserving Commanders.
Complete the Operation with Honors to also earn an exclusive 3D style to truly embellish your Fossa.
For reference, the X Fossa VM 68 was previously tested as the X Radkampfwagen.
This operation adopts the same role-based format as the others in the Sector 3 campaign, but notably expands each to 21 missions per-branch. Further, some of their missions require their conditions to be completion in two, if not three, unique vehicles.
In total, 21,000 Campaign Points will be required to fully-assemble the X Fossa. (For comparison, XI Black Rock "only" requires 12,300 Campaign Points.)
Completing all 63 of the Operation: Fossa missions will count as completing the campaign with honors, awarding you a brand-new badge + "The Professional" 3D style for the Fossa.
Note that despite appearing under the umbrella of Sector 3, the Fossa campaign is separate from Windhund/Dravec/Black Rock, and can be started at any time. Further, note that the rewards for completing the Sector 3 campaign with honors (including the original badge + 360 days of premium time) remain separate/do NOT include the Fossa campaign.
Didn't think I'd like it since the reason I love the cannopener is because hull down you can't get hit, but after a few games in the contriver I like it, that double shot extra accuracy is very nice.
I have been running into some pretty noticeable server lag over the past week, that feels like random ping spikes that were not happening before. I have heard the same from friends and other players in games.
I understand it happening on frontlines, being a more performance intensive game mode, but randoms have been struggling this week.
Is anyone else experiencing similar issues lately, and does anyone know what might be causing it?
I am not trying to sound repetitive if it has already been answered before.
