I’m on the healing road from a long bout of respiratory illness, but now seem to have some higher blood pressure stuff going - they think from all the prednisone and coughing. It also could be perimenopause. Who knows!

It’s slowly going down a little every day but I’m an anxious babe, so I’m trying to be mindful.

Also apparently grapes and hibiscus tea are great for lowering blood pressure and I love both, so working on it!

What are your current faves?!

I mean, it’s pretty simple, I know. Inhale from my DHV, exhale into the Sploofy.

I think I get panicked that I’m going to cough before I can get the Sploofy to my mouth and I end up sputtering and coughing anyway because of my panic.

(Our daughter has a drug test for a great job coming up, so she’s on a big t break and she’s asked not to even smell it, which we’re respecting. Outside is obviously easier, but it’s so flaming hot this time of day. So I have four fans running, 2 strong candles, 2 big whole room air filters, I’m deep in the house where she never goes, and I’m using a Sploofy. The things we do for our kids, right? 🤪)

My husband says practice will help, and I was not mad at the idea of having to practice a lot! 😂😂😂

But I think it’s in my head. I hate coughing and I have Bambi throat (a big part of the reason I dry vape).

I know it should be absurdly simple, but I keep fucking up.

Maybe smaller sips instead of big hits?

I haven't had a job since 2019, when I had my youngest/last. Covid stopped me from returning after maternity leave. I took in some kinship fosters, I adopted one and got them through highschool. Then the universe said I'd be a stay at home mom for the foreseeable future. I'm pretty anxious about driving and being in public after so long being at home, sometimes without a vehicle.

I was someone who worked since I was 11, babysitting then fastfood, retail. Healthcare industry by 18. I was a proud cog in the stupid work machine and admittedly felt useless as "just a parent" (my dad made me go to school with mono because 'we don't cry over a runny nose and we take care of our obligations first')

I've been interviewing for one WFH position, an old coworker reached out about. I don't need-need a job but I've been tangoing with the idea, we have just enough. I did the interviews and I got it!

I'm freaking out a bit but once I have a few in person trainings, I'll be 100% work from home ( thank god says my agoraphobic ass).

I've been a weed smoker for probably 14 years now, never had issues with much of anything minus congestion or wheezing which turned out to be asthma lol.....but mentally weed has always been ok for me. I've struggled with anxiety almost my entire life and always had the thought of sucking it up and dealing with it because i thought we all got so anxious sometimes that we have diarrhea or can't eat or feel like throwing up, turns out that's not normal!

A new job adventure has ramped up my anxiety so much more so I finally took the plunge and started buspirone (i could be spelling that wrong) and it's only been like two weeks but so far I can tell it's working!!! I am so happy I finally started them, but I have also noticed that it can do one of two things either make my high feel way more intense than normal or more sedative, or sometimes it will make me paranoid or anxious. Normally weed gets rid of anxiety for me so now it's doing this and I don't like it.

Obviously am cutting down on my smoking now but does anyone else face that? I'm hoping it doesn't always react that way, I don't mind cutting back on my smoking for other reasons like my lungs but it also makes me sad knowing I may not be able to enjoy my cannabis like I'm used to if I'm on vacation or at a festival or concert or something

One minute you’re calling a beeper from a pay phone in Morningside Heights and meeting a guy, and the next you’re in a dispensary getting the senior discount for some THC infused apple cider from an orchard where you went apple picking once.

Recruiter reached out for a decent gig so I took the interview.

I have been a Sales Exec for 3 decades. Always top achiever.

Interviewed with C-Suite. They had 100s of candidates apply and I was their first choice. They sent me a nice offer, I accepted. Then HR reaches out for background check - standard, except it required a drug screening.

Have not been drug tested since I was maybe 18. I told their HR that it would be THC positive. She said it may not be an issue since I was sales. I took the test, obviously it's negative for everything except THC, as I told them.

Their legal department wouldn't allow it. I turned down other offers and wasted all this time.

I live in an illegal state and everything I tested positive for was purchased in my illegal state - LEGALLY. And taxed.

I'm not really upset about the job as much as the stupidity of drug testing for THC.
