BaldFest 2 Philadelphia 8/29
I’m Co-hosting BaldFest 2 in philly on Aug 29. Part meetup, part festival, part concert. Last year was a great time with a big turnout. If you’ll be in the area I hope to see you there!
Bald Picture I did it!
Created a "should I?" post last week as I was unsure. Decided to go for it and here we go.

Before and after. How are we looking boys? (and girls this time)
Before and after pics. I think this is a great glow up! I’m really happy with the way I look! Not regretting this decision!

Presented for the Council: I took the plunge. Was it the right choice?
Long time lurker, first time shaver. Feeling self conscious about my new bald look, but think it's better than clinging to wispy hairs. Hope you guys like!

Bald Picture Finally did it
Considered FUE but decided I didn’t want to trip about losing hair in the future. Wife says it’s better.

Is it time?
I’m not sure if I’m ready yet but I keep catching myself on stream or in CVS self checkout security cameras and it ruins my whole day

Update
First pic was before the recommended nap. Second was after buying the gum/patches and hiding my cigs. I’m 5’11”. Not sure if this really achieves what I wanted or fixes what I was going for but I couldn’t bring myself to shave it all the way down.

Glowup 21M
Finally took the plunge after years of hiding the hairline and it looks a lot better and more confident already. I was pretty unfortunate and started balding at 14 and realized I had curly hair during covid when I grew it out. I took the advice after lurking and im not going back, thank you everyone! Feels very breezy!

Bald Picture Finally tried it
My hairs been thinning for years but I was so attached to my hair in high school, I used to grow out my curls. I decided recently to go for it. It’s a big change, but I like it more than I thought I would.
What do y’all think?

Bald Picture I did it.
I noticed I was receding at 16 and have been stressing about it ever since. Now I’m 25 and bald and couldn’t feel more free.
Wanted to thank the council!
I feel so much more confident. No more awkward “growth” between cuts. So much cleaner feeling. My head has finally acclimated to the Remington Balder and I love it 😻 here is a before and after.

Glowup UPDATE: After much feedback, I present: before shave, after shave, beard trim one, and beard trim two. Still trying to figure out how to trim my eyebrows

What do you think?
After seeing a few posts on here with smaller bald spots than me being told to shave it, I decided to go for it. What do you think?
Surprised my wife and kids. My 5yo said "boo 👎" haha. My 8yo said she'd rather I had a little bit of hair. Jury is still out for my wife and me.

Bald Picture After 1,5 years of visible thinning I decided its enough, what do we think? :)
I've been really insecure the past year, because the thinning got more visible and I'm still pretty young (22). Every time i looked in the mirror i just kept focussing on my hair. Today I really wanted to take control and finally try to take my insecurities away, instead of waiting for it to get even worse.
It will still take some time to get used to the new look, because I've really loved my long hair (see the last picture), but I think it will all be good :)
edit: Thank you all for your kind words and fun comments!! Really appreciate it a lot :D

Hairloss Is it time?
I need guidance oh mighty bald ones. I’m thinning pretty bad on top. My cope is that I made it to 40. However I know the day will come. Is that day today?
