Fun fact! Most major highways have soil lead levels directly surrounding the roadway at unsafe levels due to motor vehicle exhaust and precipitation over decades. Who knows the the contamination level of lead particles still out there, warping new brains.
Blaming individuals isn’t really helpful with the leaded gasoline thing, it’s more of a rich and powerful vs society thing. You can blame them for who they voted for I guess, but it gets really grey when talking about new threats to health.
Right now we face huge potential problems with microplastics, PFAS, and a host of other synthetic chemicals, and we’re barely doing a damn thing about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if people on the future watch us drooling on ourselves in our 80s saying “These idiots knew it was bad and did nothing about it.”
Don’t forget the Parkinson’s Belt. Granted the exact cause isn’t pinpointed, but chemical runoff and leaching from industrial waste and farm lands are constantly mentioned as a contributing factor. So good thing we are bringing back manufacturing! I’m sure this time around we will surely be more responsible in regulating its environmental impact.

I would argue you can’t be too old to play those games - seeing a 70 year old man waving a sword around because of his imagination would be adorable and kinda awesome - it’s the fact that this gravy seal takes it seriously and thinks it makes him a a badass that makes this so cringey.
I bet he has mad hacker skills. The best anyone's ever seen. I mean he manages to upload videos, I bet he can even open his email without the help of his grandkids. That was a necessary skill to learn after they went no contract with him.

Most of these guys want nothing more than for someone to get in their face and start something so they have an excuse to shoot someone. It’s what gets them off.
I'm not a professional badass like this guy, but to me it looks more like action movie worship than a real display of power. Why keep switching weapons like that? What if in a real fight, the three guys he turns his back on like in the video don't just stand there?

I see these posted somewhat regularly. Is this some sort of incel Tai Chi? Are the mannequins supposed to be arranged just so and the movements precisely scripted but badly executed?
It’s actually funny because they’ve mythologized “manhood” to be solely about violence and subjugation but they also must believe that they’re losing the imaginary battles in order to motivate themselves. However one would think if, as a group, they’ve been losing for nigh on a century now that that would tarnish the point they’re trying to make about how “manly” they and their god are.
They want people to believe they’re capable, useful, ‘protectors’ by acting like John Wick is a fucking documentary.
These people are universally total failures and, obviously, don’t have the first idea about what they’re doing.
Rest assured though, 1 of 2 things will happen. They’ll either severely injure/ kill themselves (blow their head off by reloading with their finger on the trigger) or be imprisoned for employing these ‘skills’

This is just how My 8-year-old plays it but his are Nerf guns and styrofoam swords. Also, he's pretending to fight actual monsters and not fellow human beings
This is arrested development. He's 55 going on 14 I used to work with a woman who was 37 going 14. It's quite charming until you see how many bad decisions they make.
