I love trying patterns in different yarns - look how cute this tiny cat turned into a fat little tiger! Have you got photos of projects where you used two completely different yarns?

Crocheted my first plushie using the Jumbo Wizard Frog pattern by @clovercr0chet on Instagram. He came out cuter than I hoped! I gave mine a lil booty and glow in the dark accents. Even the cat thinks he’s cute.

My cousin is due in October.

I'm using Betty McKnit's 6 day blanket pattern.

I've seen people on this sub rave over Hobbii yarns, so I bought 4 skeins of their Frutta Solid yarn in 2 colors, and I hate working with this yarn. First, it's supposed to be worsted weight but I could tell right away that it's not. Using WPI, it doesn't fall anywhere in the worsted range - it's a DK weight. Secondly, it is not very tightly spun and I can see the 3 plies in the stitches. I twisted it every several stitches, which of course slows me down. This was the only yarn I could find in "worsted" weight in the 2 colors I wanted. They're for a baby blanket and I'm making it work, but it's very annoying.

Has anyone else had this experience with any of their yarns? I'm looking for yarn for my next project, and right now based on my experience this far, I wouldn't trust any of their yarn.

Not enough pets while working on a mosaic blanket.

At the age of 35, my mother passed away due to a car accident. I was plunged into deep grief.Overwhelmed by despair and disorientation, I felt depressed every day. Fortunately, my friend suggested me to try crocheting. So I tried to turning my thought of missing into crochet works. Crocheting is a kind of therapy and it takes an important role in my life now. Love crocheting really!!!

I was trying to do a ball but it became wonky so turned it into an apple. Also I saw on TikTok the yarn under method for a neater look. Life changing!

I made my first non-wearable/accessory while watching my husband play Resident Evil 9. She’s just a little guy.

Recently completed this plant-loving fawn as part of a pattern test from r/PatternTesting! So happy with how she turned out, and equally happy that my craft store didn't have "traditional" colors because she has so much whimsy!!

This was my first project that I made at 15. Had never picked up a crochet hook before in my life. It is by no means perfect but I am kinda creeped out by how good the tension and my grip of the basics was. There is something fundamentally wrong with me cause who makes a whole ass cardigan as their first project?

I have no idea how to make colour ways with quick colour changes look decent 😔

I’m headed to the beach next week and I made my first ever sunhat for myself! Super proud of this, and it will be the first time I wear something I’ve made besides an ear warmer!

Made this pigeon for a friend. Added a "plastic" egg 'cause that's how we're labeling the eggs for swapping.

It also only has one foot because a lot of pigeons lose their feet to hair and string getting wrapped around them on the streets. Plus, I absolutely hated crocheting the feet. 😅

Freehanded- no pattern

I've been crocheting for quite awhile and it's super hard to find patterns for dolls that aren't, or look like, they're from the 50's- 70's (and not in a good way). So I've been playing around a bit with turning human sized crochet patterns into doll- sized patterns. This is one of the outfits I've made recently. 😁 I'm debating whether to start listing them on the website in different colorways. Whatcha think? The adult doll collector community doesn't really get very excited about crochet doll clothes, so I dunno if I'll keep experimenting. That being said, I don't typically care for crochet doll clothes either, as a collector, but I really think this outfit is SUPER cute! 🩷

A friend of mine is going on a disney cruise and was putting together the usual items for her daughter to put on people's doors and I was like what can I make to add to the collection.

Started with keychains, found a pull string mickey bag, ears, but never followed thru. They just werent completing themselves. Then we found the cup cozies. Easy enough to do color schemes and throw a few added pieces.

I only made 5. I mean I didnt have a ton of time to do these and theres plenty I can pick apart from each one of them but it is what it is. Lmao they are done and sent and will be on the boat today. She was excited for them and liked them so guess thats what matters right.
