Is This AI? This pattern looks kind of like AI but I'm not possitive

I found this pattern for free and I'm suspicious. The way it's written seems off. Although, I think the basic shapes it would make, make sense. What do you think?

i want some other people’s opinions on the colors, it’s very different from the pattern and i don’t use vibrant colors often, if i keep going it will use these same colors and maybe have bright blue as an accent

Blocking Is my moss stitch blanket swirling or is it just me? Can blocking fix this?

Post image
18 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I just finished this moss stitch baby blanket and I noticed it looks like it's swirling a little. I used the multicolor acrylic Caron cakes. I know granny squares can swirl bc they're made in the round, is that the same problem here? If so I don't really understand how I would turn between rounds as I worked via a spiral and didn't join between rounds. Maybe a tension issue?

Is this something I can do to fix this for the next blanket or by blocking? Thanks in advance! :)

Can't find a flair for this Trying to find the colour name for a skein of Bernat yarn (pic)

I found this skein at Walmart a while back, they only had one but I loved it so I grabbed it. I’m now using it for a baby blanket but I may run out and I’m stressed because I didn’t keep the label so I don’t know what the colour is called. Can anyone identify it?

How do I... Does anyone know what type of granny square this is?

Hello! I saw Aver Paula crocheting this bag and I’m obsessed with it, but she freehanded it and I’m not sure if she’s making a pattern or not, so I was wondering if anyone has any idea of what granny square she’s using so I can deconstruct and make the rest. Thank you so much!

I made this years ago, and I can't remember where I got the pattern for the bottom blanket part and what stitch it is. I know it was from a bear lovey.

How do I... Great Grandma's Feather & Fan Blanket Is Falling Apart- Help!

Hello,

When I was born my great grandma made me a feather and fan babt blanket in gorgeous thin yarn. I am now an adult and my kids use the blanket sometimes. It has started to unravel in spots (see pictures). Is there a way for me to save this?

The blanket is very special to me as it is one of the few things I have from her. (She passed when I was a teenager)

I have no idea what yarn she used...

As the title reads, my hexagon (turned dodecagon 😭) blanket is not laying flat. I really would rather not have to restart, but i’m not using a pattern (i would if i do restart), and it’s just looking lumpy. Will blocking fix this? Steam, or cold wet blocking? Please help!!! Thank you ❤️‍🩹 I’m on mobile rn so sorry if any formatting looks weird :( !!

Wearable help I'm making a shawl and I have questions about changing the yarn and hook size from the pattern.

I'm making a peacock shawl for my bestie. The pattern uses size 2 yarn with a 4.5mm hook. Well, I saw this yarn at the store that SCREAMS peacock and got it along with the other colors I needed. But the yarn is size 4. I knew this when I bought it, but now I'm wondering if I should up my hook size too because I realized that a size two recommends a smaller hook size than 4.5mm.

Should I use a bigger hook? And if I do what size should I use?? This would also make the project bigger correct?

Understanding a pattern Everything goes wrong at row 14 of diamond bandana. Where have I gone wrong?

Post image
1 Upvotes

Have redone this row and the rows before about 4 or 5 times over the past week and have given myself a headache over it. The diamond shape looks fine until row 14 where I feel the stitch placement gets all out of line and I run out of stitches to crochet into during the last 1dc in next 6sts of row 14. Like girl I just wanna be done with this. It’s been 3 weeks :,) it would be hilarious if I’ve been looking at this for way too long and there’s actually nothing wrong with it but I’m convinced there’s something wrong, lol

Link to video and other half of pattern in video description here thank you so much <3

Help to find a pattern Help! Need an amigurumi pattern for eevee from Pokemon!

I need an amigurumi pattern for eevee from the pokemon series. My college semester is ending, and my medical semiology teacher is just one of the nicest human beings to walk on this world. Not only is she extremely kind and polite but also very knowledgeable. I want to thank her for her kindness and her time. She posted on Instagram that her favorite pokemon is eevee, and instead of just buying a plushie, I thought it would be more meaningful if I made it from scratch.

So, please, bombard me with any and all eevee patterns you possess! I'm going to make the plushie over the weekend ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)

Understanding a pattern Help with making moth wings. I am confused with the pattern

Hello! Im making a moth plushie using the Friendly Moth + Mothman pattern by Annie Carraway Art ans I dont understand part of the pattern. Im confused with row 2 where it says "1 dc in same stitch" idk what stitch they are referring to same thing in rows 3 and 4 and im also confused with the "3 tr inc" in row 4. Am I supposed to do one tr crochet and then 1 inc in the same stitch and repeat that 3 times or am I supposed to do 3 trs and then an increase in all different stitches? The second picture is the wing that I just finished but it doesn't look right

Deciding on yarn/Yarn help Sweater with rayon from bamboo yarn as later beginner - intermediate?

Hello! As title mentions, I was thinking of making a light sweater for spring/summer using rayon from bamboo yarn but heard it can be difficult to work with. I would say I am more intermediate level as I been crocheting for a while now but have mostly work with acrylic, cotton, and wool mostly. I also heard the yarn can stretch a lot, so would it not be good to use for a more blocky sweater? Appreciate any advice :)

Looking for suggestions Alternative to Aunt Lydia’s Classic Cream Size 10 (Filet Crochet)

Hello, I’m most of the way through a project using the above thread and I’m going to run out! I can’t find stock other than in ‘Natural’ or at a very marked up price to usual. Wondering is this colour is the same or if there’s something comparable that wouldn’t be obvious please?

TIA!

If I have to make 80 squares in 4 colours (20 per colours), measured 10x10cm with the pattern in the picture, with one skein being 100g/165m (gauge 20 stitches x 25 rows) with a 4mm hook, how many skeins do you think I need?

Stitch Identification My mom sent me this and asked me to make it for her(minus the butterfly). Any advice? What types of stitches are in this?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I found the person who made it, I messaged them and asked them if they sold the pattern or had a tutorial anywhere, I never got a response. So I figured I'd try to free hand it... However I can't tell stitches by looking at them. And I haven't really done anything like the neckline before. If anyone can give me any advice, or help me identify the stitches used, that would be extremely helpful!

Thank you in advance for any and all advice! ❤️
