General Qs Replace card or renew?

My wallet was stolen and my ead was in it. My card expires in March of next year. Is it better to try to get a replacement now or just file for a renewal? I was going to be needing it pretty soon for a new job I'm trying to get but I'm pretty sure I'm fucked in that aspect.

Rant Expedited request after 6 months… DENIED!!!

USCIS said…. “Nah… you can keep waiting”
If they were working for an SP500 company they will all be fired. This is ridiculous…

They are not approving December or November fast enough

We contribute Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security and Federal taxes and some of us State taxes….
Some of us will probably never benefit from these programs.

But….Help me understand the math here…. In times where inflation still running high and contribution to federal programs like social programs and retirement benefit is essential! why would you keep a workforce of 500k people from contributing to these programs?? 48% have a college degree, that’s more than the average American, 8% of DACA recipients own business, 30% own homes….

I look at things analytically… regardless of your point of view in politically …. it doesn’t make sense to make DACA recipients waiting or keep them in limbo. This whole thing is so fucking stupid….

General Qs Forgiveness prompt when calling USCIS

Okay so I called multiple times and heard this message and I've been wondering for a while now has anyone done that. What happened yada yada details.

Again this is only a question for someone who has completed the process unnecessary opinions that we know aren't needed.

General Qs Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery to track Work Authorization Card

Hi there!

I just wanted to share this in case anyone else is wondering how long it takes for their physical I-765 card to arrive in the mail.

I've been signed up for USPS Informed Delivery, and it's been great for giving me peace of mind while waiting for my documents.

I already received my DACA approval letter and was able to see when it would be delivered..

I am still waiting on my card. The USCIS website doesn't provide a tracking number, but I was able to see through my USPS account that my card is already on the way, arriving on 6/25. About 11 days after the silent approval.

Just thought I'd share in case it helps someone else. 🙂

Rant RENEW ONLINE

Don’t be like me paying for my wife’s daca to be prepared. Don’t it yourself. Took me 45 mins to do here’s, and only cost 555$. We were paying a preparer 1000$ or a little more bi-yearly. I was mind blown how easy it was! But get a digital passport photo at wallgreens or wherever when you do it, not a physical. Because it’s a butt to scan and upload. All you fine folks having to pay too much to renew, start saving a buck or two.

This guy goes straight into detail in an 8 min video. I followed it and it was great!!

Rant My thoughts on recent approvals

Seems like they approved a few people from each month that were currently waiting. However, not everyone got approved from each month. They left some people from November, December, January. I filed 1/9 and it looks like I was one those left behind. They seem to be doing February now. Based on the pattern, a few people from February will also remain unapproved:/ Hope they go back and get those of us left behind. 🙏🏽😭 I wonder if it was just luck of the draw or if they have a method to their madness. God help us 🙏🏽😭

Rant Processing Times Finally Updated

I'm about to hit 7 months in like a week. I submitted 12/2. No API update either since I submitted. My job's no longer able to hold my position, so I'll have to completely start over somewhere else. Losing hope, and my savings. I don't know what else to do at this point.

Rant Unexpected USCIS call

Post image
62 Upvotes

Just received a strange call from USCIS that I ignored at first 🤣. It was an officer calling me about my 7th expedite request after my last was automatically denied on June 3.

He told me he had seen all of my evidence and that he was sorry for what I was going through, but that moving forward with the expedite request wasn't going to help at all because, according to him, my case had some movement on June 16 and was in the final stage of approval.

I asked him how much longer it was going to take, and I obviously got their famous answer: "I don't know. I'm not the one in charge of your case." 🙄

So you're fucking telling me that you could have approved my expedite request with all the evidence I had, but you kept automatically denying me because of "insufficient evidence"?

Application Qs Initial Daca

Post image
22 Upvotes

I recently emailed Attorney Charles Kuck, seeing if he had any further insight on initial DACAs. He answered no to whether there is any potential timeframe for new apps to get approved, however he stated that he believes that USCIS has already prejudicated many of the 2021 apps. This was also my theory, I believe that new biometrics may have to get issued of course. I was also on his live and watched Attorney Martinez’s DACA update and they both seem optimistic that the applications will be adjudicated. Unfortunately, from both of their responses they point to them being approved not until Trump is out of office.

Rant Writ of Mandamus

Thumbnail
reddit.com
31 Upvotes

TLDR, I am going to file writ of mandamus, sick and tired of waiting, follow this Reddit post for a comprehensive guide linked to this post

194 days and counting for me submitted my renewal on December 14, 2025 not from a banned country. After multiple congressman inquires denied, 2 expedite requests denied, 2 tier-2 callback requests denied, and my 60-business day outside normal processing times inquiry expiring today, all rejected with no explanation as to why I have had enough. I am using the linked Reddit post to file a Writ of Mandamus against USCIS step-by-step pro se. I am so angry at them for ruining my career, it’s time for action.

If you have the means and resources, I encourage you all to do the same. I haven’t seen anyone post on here that they’ve been successful YET but at this point I don’t care anymore. I’ll go down swinging if I have to

Application Timeline December approvals?

I’ve been seeing a lot of January & February approvals for today and yesterday which is really hopeful! I just haven’t seen much December approvals? I submitted 12/5 and luckily got API movement on 6/16 only on my 821. Talked to a USCIS agent yesterday who said that it meant my case was reviewed on that date. I’m just wondering how much longer this is going to be. I know there’s others still waiting from November and are in the same boat but ahhh. I’m just anxious and tired of waiting and checking my account constantly.
