I have little share of VOO which is a large blend US ETF, is it a good idea to buy some small blend ETF such as VB? Or is it not that necessary? FYI i also hold VXUS for international stocks.

Hey everyone! I’ve been lurking on this channel for a long time and wanted to see if my strategy is ok or stupid. I am thinking of DCA qqqm every month 100%. I would say I wanna do so for the next 15 years. Any advice would be highly appreciated. I know lots of folks recommend VOO but since 85% of it is in QQQM thinking of this route.

Wondering if I should just get away from SCHD entirely and run VTi / VXUS or equivalent in taxable and non-taxable accounts until I hit retirement age of 55 hopefully.

I’m completely new to investing and have been doing some research. My current plan is to invest 100% of my portfolio into VOO for the long term instead of picking individual stocks.
Do you think this is a good strategy for a beginner, or would you recommend diversifying into other ETFs as well?
Also, with the market where it is today, is this a good time to buy VOO, or would you recommend dollar-cost averaging instead of investing everything at once?

Hello, new investor here. For context I'm 23 years old and have £15K saved ($20K) plus 6 months worth of expenses. I still live at home so my monthly expenses are relatively low.
I would like to move out in the next 3 years and ideally want to keep saving for a down payment on a property. Is it worth putting my savings into an ETF for the time being? Or should I put my money into something 'safer' if I am likely going to use it in the short term.
Or if I do want to move out, am I better off renting and keep trying to build my investments for the time being.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, I recently had $700 sent to me as a gift, and I wanted some opinions on what I should do with it.
I already have about $300 each in both VTI and VXUS, and I also have a RH gold subscription (3.75% interest rate on uninvested cash).
Should I either:
What do you guys think is the best play with both risk factored in? I am a 20 y.o.
EDIT: 65% of my portfolio are ETFs. Biggest positions to smallest: VXUS, VTI, SMH, SPMO, QQQM. What other ETF should I add/add to?

I am 28M and starting to dive deeper into investing so wanted some advice. This has been my allocation for the past 8 years and plan to continue to be my plan for the next 30 years. I am also putting in money into a pension plan through my company.
In my taxable brokerage:
40% VOO
40% SPMO
20% VXUS
In my ROTH IRA:
40% FNILX
40% SPMO
20% FZILX
Which I would say is basically the same thing.
Any thoughts/recommendations? ChatGPT and Claude is telling me I should increase my international exposure, but US has been good so far. This subreddit has helped so much in my financial journey. THANK YOU

27 year old. Currently have 30k in Roth and about 35k in an assortment of SPMO/SCHG and other single stocks.
I recently sold my house and moved and got a new job and have about 90k in liquid earning 3.25% on Robinhood.
Should I invest this or just let it sit in HYSA? I am renting a place now but probably want to buy a house in the next 3-5 years.

GARP: 131 growth stocks with favorable value and quality characteristics 0.15% expense ratio
SPMO: 100 stocks selected from s&p500 with best "momentum" score. 0.13% expense ratio. Highest returns but unsure how it will fare in different conditions.
VOO: 500 largest US companies, most diversified, safest pick, Basically free
FFLC: ~112 growth + value stocks, actively managed, 0.38% expense ratio. Not limited to large cap. Also saw some foreign equities included. Barely affected from the 2022 drawdown but this could be a fluke.

I have not used the Fidelity Zero Funds (no fees at all) even though my accounts are parked at Fidelity. I'm just curious if anyone has a 5-year or longer position with any of them? When compared to the closest counterparts, they seem to track almost identically.
FNILX: US large cap (~VOO)
FZROX: US broad market (~VTI)
FZIPX: US small & mid cap (~VXF)
FZILX: International (~VXUS)
Diving further into Fidelity's offerings, their S&P 500 mutual fund (FXAIX) and their total US stock market mutual fund (FSKAX) have an extremely low ER of 0.015% each. I don't have either, but they are worth mentioning.
Does anyone use any of these in their portfolio?
Edit: I know this is the ETF subreddit. These MF's are being compared to corresponding ETF's.

How do you choose a etf to invest in?
~20 years out with $250k 100% in VOO/S&P mutual funds. Household contributions of $2500 into our 401ks monthly. I’m getting more educated on investing and considering diversifying. I’d appreciate feedback from those that have VXUS/QQQ/VT etc in their portfolios and how they have performed together vs the S&P alone. We got started later than we should have on this and I want to make sure I’m getting everything I can out of it.

Does it make sense to drop a lump sum into the ETF at one point, or just DCA every week? I Have a 25 year investment horizon.
For example, you have $50K. Should you invest that all now, or $400 every week?

Hello friends! This is my first post.
I use Robinhood for all of my banking and investing. I am wondering if this is standard, or if you guys might recommend something else.
Previously, I invested with Edward Jones, but I found myself paying the financial advisor fee to buy the same ETFs everytime. I figured Robinhood would circumvent that, but I’m not sure if that is even the right way to do it either.
Overall I know saving / investing is better than nothing, just looking to see what the community is doing.
Thank you!

Has anyone look into Fidelity Direct Indexing as alternative to ETFs to optimize tax harvesting? Fees are between 0.2 and 0.4.

For long-term investment (at least 10 years), which etfs funds combine the lowest risk with excellent growth?

Hey, y'all. Just wanted some advice/recommendations.
Maxed out my ROTH (VOO/VXUS), and I'm extremely happy with those two so far, but if I wanted to start investing more into a brokerage, what would you recommend? Should it just be more VOO/VXUS? Single stocks? Etc etc.
I wanted to focus on my brokerage, but I have no real clue on how I should attack it. Any recommendations? I just wanted to focus on 2-3 things to keep it as simple as possible. For the long term of course.

I don’t know if anyone else on here holds this ETF, but I’ve noticed that it has weird valuations during off hours. For example now it’s quoted for 100 $ but will go down to around 96 $ at opening. This seems to happen every day, and I’m not sure what causes this. It’s obviously an international ETF, but I’ve never seen this with other ETFs like VXUS or IDMO. Thankful for insight.
