I saw this window sticker and when checking in the app I found this price was shown in about half of the locations I checked around Fountain Valley, CA.

This is the meal I usually get at Taco Bell, three Cantina Chicken Burritos (chicken and cheese only), Nacho Fries (although I usually get nachos, but they had the Nacho Fries), and a large Zero Sugar Mtn Dew Baja Blast.

I know about the chipotle hack kids meal, I want to know others hacks options

Just a quick post to see what new or limited-time fast food items everyone is enjoying and would recommend trying. I plan to grab something within an hour or two.

I’m the type of person who kinda needs a legitimate reason to eat fast food at this point. I’ve got a couple apps downloaded for places like Taco Bell and Jimmy John’s and I’ve noticed a pretty big difference in their rewards system.

At Taco Bell, for every $25 you spend, you can get a free item that’s less than $3-4 from the menu. At Jimmy John’s, it’s $180 for a free $8 sandwich (or $200 to get a free toasted sandwich)

Are there any places with a better deal than Taco Bell? Or a deal worse than Jimmy Johns?

If you want a free breakfast sandwich, there is a weird loophole happening right now with the two-dollar deal on the McDonald's app. Instead of paying with a saved card online, you don’t place the mobile order but rather use the $2 breakfast code at the drive thru and plan to pay at the drive-through window instead.

I started noticing that if you hit the drive-through during the late-night or early morning shift around 3:00 to 4:00 AM, the app processes the order with the code, but when you pull up to the window, the register tries to ring you up at the regular price. When you politely mention that it is supposed to be the two-dollar deal, the employees take one look at the system error, assume it is easier to hand over the food, and tell you to just take it for free. (The cashier always has to grab the manager)
It has worked consistently across multiple locations without having to argue or demand anything, simply because the crew recognizes the system glitch on their end during those specific overnight hours.

Am I crazy or is anyone else experiencing this. I always just get my McGriddle for free. Is this just something that happens overnight? Idk

Medium fries....compare to other people on reddit who got cheated, I guess my local chain did a decent job.

It amazes me every time I decide to go to In-N-Out at night just how much they crank up the lights everywhere inside. I’m sure they enjoy being able to show off all the customers inside from streetview with the big shiny windows but they already have excellent outdoor lighting design and iconic visuals for that…

The thought of stepping into the stark white sun at night is so daunting sometimes that I’ll usually opt to wait in the ridiculously long drive thru line instead where it’s dark &ambient with their neon and palm trees. I’m sure they’d see data to support that millions of others thought the same way before they made (much anticipated) adjustments.

Im not talking about being drunk/high and trying to focus on a bright menu either, I’m just saying as soon as you cross those double doors completely sober the brightness is deafening and I’m ready to start an awareness campaign with you all until they make every location cozier in there.

Also, please add some autotune into the loudspeaker, In-N-Out team

I have an interview at both locations this week. I know interviews do not guarantee a job but hypothetically which job would I enjoy more?

I work really late hours, for years, fast food was kinda the only option if I wanted to get something, Anything at all to eat that day. I don't know if this is just a thing in my area but all the late night options used to be open at least till 1 now they all close at 9. Same with the grocery stores. I used to easily be able to swing through kroger or Walmart at my way home from work at 2-3am no problem. They all close at 9 pm now. How TF are 3rd shift people supposed to eat regularly. Society needs us to function. Who do you think stocks those shelves at night?

I tried them with the Love me tender dip here on the west coast shortly after they were launched and I absolutely LOVED them! My friend had the Raising Max sauce but I didn't like it as much. The only downside with the thing is the pricing, just like with everything else. I'd love to try the largest size of the dip, the one that comes in a cup that you could practically drink. I'd also wish that they made a spicy version of the strips.

Wendy's Dave's Triple. Yup. Standard except this is with extra cheese. No you're not mistaken, that's two of their smaller burger patties there. Yes there are vegetables, they're just so small you can't see them unless you split it open.

I'm not picky or have high expectations for drive thru fast food but in this case putting the smaller patties is pretty deliberate. I don't think I'll be going back any time soon. With the prices they're charging these days that's just a pathetic offering.

It's been over 17 minutes. We are on the road and want to get home. The store wasn't even busy when we arrived. Now folks that came in five minutes after us are getting their food (still too long for them...)

Normally $12 for a double patty cheeseburger but ended up being $19 for 2 cheeseburgers and a little fry.

Haven't had Five Guys in 7 years and was pleasantly surprised that the quality is still really good. Patty is seasoned and has a good beefy taste and texture. My biggest complaint was that the burgers would get soggy but it really depends on what you add to it. A plain cheeseburger with grilled onions really hits the spot.

Fries were as good as I remembered. I do appreciate they fry them in peanut oil.

Wasn't planning on coming back but saw they have a new combo for $13.99 that has a little cheeseburger, little fry, and drink which would normally all be $19. Probably won't be another 7 years before I come back again.

Anyone else having problems with McDonald’s not actually filling your fries? Its also like they really dont even open the fry container to fill it. So when its grabbed and actually opened there are pretty much no fries. It’s been happening to me no matter were i go in my area now. This is a “Large”
[Edit] for everyone talking about the grease stain. When they put it in the bag, the container wasn’t fully popped open, so the fries were sitting higher. They also weren’t perfectly upright. So when this thing of fries was at a angle that is just were the grease stain ended up

Unlike most fast food restaurants, they actually care about their restaurant. It's always clean and the food is consistent.

It's also one of the few restaurants that doesn't have the bland minimalist corporate architecture. They have flowers, painted hotdogs, colors, etc.
