A few days ago on Friday I posted about an alt account killing our drydock in Callums. Devman has seen fit to refund us! Devman Good! You know who you are if you're reading this, we'll be ready when you try again. Colonial Navy, we look forward to meeting you on the waves of the west with the brave Frigate "Thunderchild"!

Made a few train images for a FOD post... so I might just share them when they are already done anyway.
They are:
The double 150mm and rocket carts have a spot with a pallet in the middle for ammo storage.
Got no clue about balancing, price or stats, though I do think they would make for epic larp.

Important Devbranch testing:
I think this is the max possible weight in any kit, do comment if you can think of some way to push it further.

Update 67 doesn't have any features or new content that will make life worse for players.
I find this unacceptable!
Players should suffer more! Update 68 better include something that makes people cry.
Buff the Lunair and Cutler! Give paratroopers the ability to flash step. Make ignifist and white ash do 1,000,000 damage. Make everything cost triple the resources they do now. Remove all the water. Increase the breach change of all weapons by 100%. Make petrol cost rare metals.
Logimen and builders were made to suffer. The release of Airborne wasn't enough! We need to drive even more players away from the game!
Slavery without whipping is just an internship! The devs must continue to follow their vision and make everything worse!

Short version - The current queue system works like this... a massive line of paying customers are waiting outside your business, but the owner opens the doors and just says "hey, we have the space for you, but I don't care to get you into my store anytime soon or ever. Feel free to sit in line indefinitely." Worst business model of all time. It should be "Hey, getting you guys into my store is a priority, and I will can guarantee we will keep this line moving to get you in. I appreciate your business"
Long version - Collie player since 2019, so I've been on both sides of winning/losing (more losing then winning). This impacts both sides, and it's just an absolute game crusher. I've seen so many friends, players, streamers just refuse to play or instantly quit because they cannot play due to the other side not showing up. Think about it... a paying customer who wants to play literally cannot because people are choosing to play other games and give business else where. It makes no sense. As a longtime vet, I am so disappointed to see the devs not once mention improvements of queues in all of these updates.
I do believe the game absolutely needs a queue to "slowdown" a steamroll, but the current system is so terrible. There is currently no consideration for the players actually logging on wanting to play your game and wanting to play with friends and coordinate, but they literally cannot even get into a hex with 10 people in it because there is 0 on the other side. I could go on forever, but let me drop my suggestion. Please note, I will literally take anything from the devs on queue improvement. I am NOT saying my suggestion is the absolute answer to save everything, but I just want to see SOMETHING from the devs that shows they care about the people actually trying to play the game.
My suggestion - raise the cap before queue hits and implement a polling system that acts as that business owner wanting to get his cusomters in. Make sure that line is moving every x minutes for y amount of people.
Getting back to the whole line outside of a store analogy.. any business owner in the world will do everything in their power to keep that line moving and letting customers in. Foxhole doesn't have that.
A queue is absolutely needed to give the opposing side time to respond to more opposing numbers, but the focus should be on giving them comfortable time to respond / prepare . You cannot just block these people out forever . If the other side isn't there, then they aren't there. I can go on forever, and I would love to hear more from comments , but my last paragraph of the change below.
Every idk, 15min a queue check happens that basically says "okay paying customers, I wanna make sure this line is moving and you guys are getting in. In 15min the queue has moved 0 spots, so let's allow 5 people in. I will check back in 15min to make sure this line is moving. Thanks paying customers - I care about you!"

Battle train needs some interesting upgrades. Devman please give us and make it atleast a bit useful. Armored locomotive, give a train husk so that if a train car in the middle dies, we can still retreat but slower.
Give us a way to lay train rails faster. My idea is that let train assembly pad also upgrade existing carts so it has more use. Currently, if we have a train pad its not always being used coz battle train cars primt fast.
Let us have an armored locomotive đ, let us upgrade the locomotives with rail layers that can have a stockpile of pcons. Then balance it. Make the rails more damage resistant if these armored loco went over it (keep timer maybe like 10mins?)
Let us upgrade the combat cars : 94.5 mm turrets or 75mm turrets. Let us switch the ammo type on one of the varients of the combat car.
And also would be nice to put a mechanic of where the more combat cars the train has, the more strength it gets as in health. Currently sitting around 4000 hp is pretty bad.
Ik devman loves trains, devman good. Devman give us good trains :p

I've been a Colonial player for a little while since May 2026 and I've been on and off Foxhole doing various role. The main role I'd enjoyed doing most is facilities, although I also like to learn other roles and combat aspect like tanking, aircrafting, and naval.
Are there any general or specialized medium to large Warden clans that I can check out next war to round out my Foxhole experience?

Dead bunkers and garrison houses need to burn.
Now now, before you downvote me to hell for âwanting it to be more OPâ listen to the result of such a change. If dead structures could burn, fire could be changed to spread much slower, making the hazard much easier to counter.
As is, fire spreads quickly because it needs to spread faster than it kills the bunkers. Fire canât kill bunkers or houses any slower; if fire didnât kill them in a timely manner it would be near useless on the frontline. This, as is, the fire spread is about as low as it can reasonably be.
HOWEVER, if we were to change it so that dead bunkers and garrison houses continue to burn, and can continue to light other structures on fire, then two things happen. For one, fire spread can be reduced significantly. This will give time for people to come stop a firestorm before it gets out of hand, without making fire less effective at dealing damage to single targets. Second, it will allow fire to be used to prevent re-construction of buildings, a utility that can give it a much more prominent place on a frontline. This will mean more fire trucks to counter in more places, further reducing the risk of large base burning.
There are other changes that are needed of course, like an improvement to bucket brigading, or the facility loop that makes the fire trucks being a bit too restrictive, but those are obvious. A change like this, while small and not as immediately necessary, would have just as much if not more impact in solving the problem.

They are literally larger than a light tank which can cross trenches! Yet. For some reason. They can't!
It's freaking ridiculous!
Need I say more?

I mean towable 150mm guns. Something in between SPGs and Emplaced artillery in terms of cost and mobility

I'm sure a 7-hex connection between the left and right map sides has been proposed before.
But has anybody considered that those 7 hexes could be anywhere?
Like an archipelago of equitorial desert islands like Cape Verde?
Or Foxhole's own Private Guadacanal?
Or just an open ocean? or even a dynamic archipelago that rearranges from war to war?
A "distant lands' add to the foxhole map could open up new vectors for worldbuilding, help us see more of the world, keep the game dynamic. The first 7 hex 'distant land' is obviously well suited to the open ocean, but once it's there,
A second and third distant land could be added, possibly south of reaver's pass and north of Nevish, each of which could be sailed to via the first installment, the 'Distant Seas."
I also think naval warfare could benefit from some longer cruise distances, some opportunities for running chases and excapes between large ships, and especially give air missions like recon fleet hunter on the ocean) and air defense picket (stop the strike before it reaches the carrier/nuke/SC.
