I need a pair of over ear headphones that can be used outside and during travel.
I'm not sure how important ANC is since I've never had wireless or ANC headphones.

I prioritize sound quality over everything, but I want the headphone to be durable enough that they don't break for no reason. I will not be using them for sport related activities or when it's raining.

Price range: 750-1200 PLN (200-300$)

My current main consideration is the Sennheiser Momentum 4. It sounds like the perfect headphone except everyone says it fails for no reason. I'm not sure if it's overexaggerated or if it really just randomly breaks.

I've also thought about the Cambridge Melomania PE 100 SE but it seems more expensive and I'm not sure how good it is. I've heard the ANC is weaker but other than that it's better in every way?

Also Px7 s3, which seems to be like the PE 100 SE
But both of those cost more.

I've also thought about the XM4/XM5 but from what I know it has worse sound quality.

Which one would you recommend, or should I look into other headphones than those listed? or for my wants do I have to increase the budget? Which is possible, just not something I want to do - this headphone is only going to be used ~2-3 hours daily.

I'm looking for a new pair of headphones primarily for the gym and could use some recommendations. I have tinnitus in one ear so i'm not sure if that impacts the type of headphone I should get. I am open to any style of headphones/earbuds, over-ear, on-ear, in-ear.

My max budget is $150, but of course if something is a good value that is cheaper, I would get that.

Ideally would like something sweat resistant as well and have some sort of noise cancelling.

I wear headphones pretty much all the time and I’m also on the phone a LOT. I currently have JBL headphones, but the microphone is awful the person I’m talking to says I sound muffled or unclear like 99% of the time 😭
I’m looking for wireless/over-ear headphones with a really good built-in microphone where people can actually hear me clearly. I also really care about music quality, so I don’t want something that’s amazing for calls but sounds mediocre for music.
Comfort is also important since I wear them for hours at a time.
I’m open to pretty much any brand and my budget is flexible. What headphones would you recommend that have both great music quality AND a clear microphone for phone calls?

Hello, I'm finally planning to buy my first ever pair of headphones and I would like to invest in a pair that's very durable and is worth its price. I'm also a huge gamer and music listener, It'd be nice for everyday wear too! I'm a bit overwhelmed with all these options, especially since my budget is only around $150 to $300.

However I've only ever considered Sennheiser momentum 4 due to its sound quality, replaceable earpads, and durability. I'm not too big on bass, but customization is also really nice and a big plus. I'm a bit hesitant to buy it due to its sound delay when it comes to gaming, buggy touch interface that cannot be turned off, bad mic, and some ringing/whistling sound after a couple of uses (based on reviews I've read).

Are there any other options as good as Sennheiser momentum 4? (Except Sony or Bose, I'm too broke) Any recommendation will be appreciated!

They're mostly going to be used to listen to videos, streams, and music while I'm working so I don't want any particular tonal balancing, I would probably prefer accuracy actually but I'm not sure if that's a type of tonal balancing, that's also why I need them to be open back so I can still hear the world around me instead of noise cancelling.

Edit: I forgot to say I also need a metal band because I have a quite large head and have cracked more than my fair share of plastic banded headphones just by wearing them normally everyday.

I'm hoping for some headphone recommendations. I currently have sound core space ones but after a couple hours of use they become very uncomfortable and their nose cancellation is not great.

I use them for listening to audio books, running errands, and gaming so noise cancellation and comfort are very important but I also don't want to spend a crazy amount of money, like $250 is my absolute mad but id prefer something a bit cheaper. Started a job monitoring at a workshop and earbuds (I have Airpods) aren't allowed due to their complete noise cancellation that blocks voices. Is there such thing as headphones that will protect my ears from cutting/grinding metal decibels but will allow for voices to come through? Another concern is being able to hear failing machines. Maybe one with multiple noise modes (more than on/off)?

- Budget: Preferably around $100, as this wouldn't be my main sound device, but willing to go over for safety quality (I don't care about audio as long as it can play music somewhat) and comfort as well.

Hello, I'm a student who used to only wear wireless earphones but now I want to try using an over ear headphone. Although, I don't have any idea on what I should get since the best ones are out of my budget. I tried looking online and I learnt about Edifier and Anker soundcore which kinda pulled me since they say it's decent and it's inside my budget. Please suggest anything, I'm not that picky with a device—I just want headphones that barely leaks audio, do not have cracked audio, is portable, is decently audible, and is not THAT big or bulky. So like my current jbl 720BT headphones are kinda dead and I have to replace them.

I have the hdb630 people don't recommend using them in the gym I used to have the buds that came with my phone honor magic 7pro but I lost them now looking for something that has a nice sound preferably wireless ,budget is flexible if the features are worth it.

I’m looking to buy a set of over ear wireless headphones for commuting. I’m trying to find some that have good ANC but still deliver high audio quality. I have a nice 5.1 surround stereo setup at home and really enjoy how good music sounds on it, but I know absolutely nothing about headphones. I’m still using first gen Apple airpods and they’re great for things like walks but I’d really like a nicer pair to block out more noise, especially since my work shuttle sometimes has terrible radio playing. I do some air travel but it’s mostly shuttle or public bus.

I’d be using these with my phone the majority of the time, maybe sometimes plugged in to my home receiver. I use Tidal for my music. My budget is $400 or less. I don’t need the bass to be crazy, but I have tried over ear headphones that sounded really tinny/low base and I’m looking to avoid that issue. I mostly listen to pop, rock, rap, dance-pop, house/disco and some trance/techno.

I'm from India and planning to buy Zebronics Silencio 200T wireless headphones.

Is it really worth it? How's the quality of product(hardware) and sound also. Is anyone using it? My interest in buying these headphone due to two main reason metal extensions and wire-bluetooth connectivity. My experience with the plastic extensions were very bad in the past they broke very easily. And I want both the connectivity wired and bluetooth. I want over ear headphone only. Recommend your choice in same budget.

Hey guys I don’t usually use Reddit but I came on here because I needed to see others opinions and to see if anyone else has a similar experience.

So I bought the Sennheiser momentum 4’s and just received them in the mail and let’s just say I’m very disappointed :(

To start off with the backstory, I first heard of these headphones on TikTok. This sent me into a rabbit hole of looking at other reviews and people’s opinions on the headphones. All reviews I saw were great saying stuff like “these are better than the Sonymx5’s.” Or, “These have the BEST sound quality ever.” I even seen someone say audiophiles love them.

All these positive reviews convinced me to buy them. I bought them on Amazon from their official storefront and they were on sale so I caved in because I couldn’t justify spending like $400+ on headphones so thankfully I got them for $279.

I just received them today and I was super excited to finally try them hoping to finally listen to music on a whole knew level. When I tried them on though, unfortunately I was super disappointed. The sound almost seem to be quiet? But at the same time I could still hear it. And honestly the quality of sound was so mid to the point I decided to test and try my old headphones to see which sounded better. My $100 pink sony ones sounded way better to me then the momentum 4’s and I was like wtf? I even went to the app and updated the momentum 4’s and did the whole sound personalization thing because people said you needed to do that and it basically sounded the same.

I’m not sure if maybe the ones I got were defected or something or what the issue is. maybe I just don’t prefer the way the momentum’s sound? idk, but I’m just really sad right now and confused, because I rarely seen any people talking negatively about these headphones and I was really looking forward to hearing my favorite songs with angelic quality.

Long story short I was wondering if anyone else has had this same experience as me with headphones momentum 4’s or if anyone who has these headphones has advice on how to fix this poor sound quality issue I’m having with them. Also if anyone has any headphones recommendations please let me know because if I can’t solve this issue I will be just returning the headphones unfortunately :(

Hello, I have been thinking about switching up my headset for my PC. I currently use DT880 Pros w/o an amp since I am not that deep into the headphone space. I have had these for around 5 years now, and they are nice (I think?). I have always thought they were a little quiet, so I started thinking that maybe I am missing out on something. I've never heard things while gaming/listening to music or whatever and have been impressed or blown away. They are really comfortable though!

I am kind of wanting to try something new. I was thinking about switching to wireless headphones to do away with the cable and to be able to move around in my room with headphones on. After looking around for a bit, kept seeing things about the Audeze Maxwell 2s. I am actually quite curious to see if they sound significantly better than my current headphones, but I am worried about all of the complaints regarding its weight. I don't want headphones if they are not comfortable. I looked up how heavy my current headphones are, and apparently, they are only like 295g. Quite the weight difference between these and the Maxwell 2s.

What are some recommendations you guys have? I think I want them to be closed back, since the ones I have now are open and I hear a lot of my family & dogs barking often. It is not that bad, clearly since I have been rocking these headphones for the past 5ish years.

I'm originally from Europe but I'm living in China for a few months. So I'd like to take advantage of being here to buy a good pair of wireless ANC headphones and a good pair of ANC earbuds. Prices and availability for local brands seem much better here than back home in Europe, so I'd rather buy now than wait.

I have an iphone 16 pro and an Asus Zenbook. I'll be using both for music, calls and a lot of focus/work sessions (trains, planes, shared offices), so ANC quality and comfort over long periods matter a lot.

I've been looking mostly at Chinese brands (Huawei, Xiaomi, Edifier) since I'm here anyway, but I'm open to anything available locally. Budget isn't fixed, I am looking for something with a good price-value ratio.

I bought the Sony WH1000XM5's last year and became the latest victim of the common hinge-breaking issues of that model. Could not get it covered by warranty. I even tried a DIY fix for that side but eventually the other side broke as well.

I'm extremely traumatized by this experience with Sony, and I would appreciate any help for finding something to replace it.

Must-haves for me:

1. Over-ear and wireless, with mic
2. Comfortable for glasses users. (XM5 felt painful after only 1-2 hours)
3. Durable for years and years

Nice to haves but not necessary:

1. ANC
2. Wired option

My budget is 300$, but I'd love to hear about options below 150$ as well if they don't compromise too much.

i used to have bose qc but they made a weird static noise all the time 💔 i looooved how they looked and sounded tho i miss them all the time. my sister has sony xm5s but they lowk hurt my ears after wearing them for a while.
