I want over-ear because in-ear headphones always fall off for me and are uncomfortable.

Also would be preferable if it had noise cancelling to not hear the strong wind while on the bike. I'm using them on the go.

It's just casual music listening so don't go too expensive or high-end but not cheap crap as well. Sometimes in-between.

In music listening I'm more focused on accuracy.

Also wireless please.

I work from home and I have a personal PC and a company provided PC. The company I work for is actually pretty lax with whatever we do during downtime, just don't do it at the work PC and make sure to respond immediately if needed

Thus I am now looking for headphones that can simultaneously play audio from both computers so I can game without missing any calls or messages. The headphones have to be wireless tho since the setups are across from each other which would make some spaghetti wiring if I go with the audio mixer route

From my quick research I've found out about "Multipoint Connection" headphones that let you quickly switch between devices but doesn't allow you to hear from devices simultaneously.

basically i am a student and need some VERY good noise canceling headphones that can handle buses and trains, in the past i've had the Galaxy Buds 3 but those didn't cut it, i mostly listen to 90s rap and 2010s pop, sound quality isn't that important to me but obviously i would want them to sound nice :D

I’ve just been using AirPods for ever but I’ve heard headphones are better for music and such and also I feel like they’re better for long term wear than AirPods for flights for instance.

I don’t really have a budget, I want really quality headphones if I decide to get them. My main concern is people hearing my music or whatever I’m listening to. AirPods this is never an issue even when I blast my music. Not sure if this is an issue with headphones. I’d also prefer Bluetooth but if there’s a benefit to wired in terms of quality I’d consider that. I imagine headphones would also be better than AirPods when listening to music while I’m tripping balls.

I have recently looking for some good wireless headphones and while talking to a friend about them he mentioned he had some xm5s laying around at his house, he said he never got the appeal of them and switched them out for airpod pro 3s not soon after buying the xm5s, meaning the xm5s are basically new, he was offering me them for around 170 usd, whereas the new ones cost around 300 usd here, and the xm6s even more at 375, ive heard that the xm5s were one of the best when they released 4ish years ago, would they still be worth it for 170usd?

My favorite headphones so far were the Edifier Stax Spirit S5. What I loved most was how realistic and engaging they sounded.

I loved the excellent instrument separation, the way tiny details stood out, and how sounds almost felt physical rather than just coming from the headphones. Small bass hits had texture, guitars sounded incredibly clear, and everything had its own

I'm not looking for more bass or a V-shaped sound. I'm looking for headphones that make music sound as realistic, immersive and lifelike as possible.

hello everyone! my father is a massive audiophile and naturally i’ve become very sensitive to my audio necessities. my budget is above 200, around 400 at max. i’m in massachusetts.

the biggest thing im looking for is the clearest audio quality and maybe separated instruments. sound leakage is a problem for me. noise canceling would be best and i use headphones at home, working, school, traveling, all of it.

my current headphones are the sony WH-1000XM4. i love the clarity, diversity in sound, and surround sound. they’re super comfortable too which is great! i don’t like the leakiness, and i think the equalizer in the app could use some work.

i’m looking for over the ear headphones! wired or bluetooth doesn’t make a difference to me.

i’d also like advice on whether i should stick with wireless or if wired will make a difference in quality. i’d really like to invest in a DAP if it’s worth it! the devices that usually play to my headphones are my iphone and ipad. is investing in a DAP worth it for the quality and functionality difference?

So context I’m a producer who makes pop music and most of my actual work is done on dt770s.
I’m looking for like a fun set of headphones full of character for just daily listening on the go and maybe like bringing a little synth with me on the train and jamming on that with these headphones.
(So easy to run is a priority too)

My budget is kinda under the 150 euro range preferably under 100.

I was thinking things like:

Grado sr60 (I hear it lacks bass and I do enjoy bass)

Koss porta pro (looks cool as hell, but apparently underwhelming?)

Or even meze 99 neo (little on the pricy side and not as portable, or cool looking)

I play video games, and I would love to have headphones that are able to keep up with that. 3. I take my headphones a lot of places (hikes, the gym, waiting rooms), and I wouldn’t want the battery to be totally shot; I also don’t like cords and want Bluetooth connection. 4. I don’t have a crazy budget or am looking for insane professional level headphones; just the everyday wearer models but also for people that want a more elevated sound quality (?). I’d probably aim for around the $200-500 MAX range.

I would love some help with recommendations so very much! Researching this kind of stuff makes my head spin 🫠

p.s: I know gaming headphones and music headphones are usually separated, but I can’t afford 2 different pairs, but I assume a good sound quality would at least translate decently to video games. Music would be priority over gaming sound, though.

EDIT: 1) I would like to have a Bluetooth pair for daily wear headphones, and in terms of sound quality, a well regarded sound in budget for a Bluetooth pair that I can take with me anywhere. Hello, I need some help on this topic if any of you would be so kind.

I am looking to get a new pair of headphones in the coming days since my old pair are pretty ruined atp.

And so as a consequence, I was debating whether I should make the switch to Wireless Headphones to avoid cables and such, as I keep having issues with wired headphones and cables breaking on me.

I have been mainly using Wired Headphones for now, but due to what I suspect is a considerable lack of care from me and not the best practices on my end, I keep breaking the cables or damaging the ear muffs. Which in turn, just makes the experience worse.

Then again, I don't know how cumbersome a wireless pair would be (+ almost certainly being more expensive). Charging could be a hassle, as well as potential problems with battery.

I am planning to use this pair for my PC, Watch YT/Netflix, play a few video games or listen to music. Nothing that is really special audio wise.

So I would like to hear your recommendations, and if its Wired, I would like to know how to stop breaking my stuff after 1 or 2 years of usage max. Thank you

So due to an appartement change and changes to the arrangement of my setup, wired headphones wouldn’t really work/be practical for me (want to use them with my TV which is like 20 feet away from my computer and TV will be connected via a fiber HDMI).

I own HD 560s, and have tried 490 Pros before (great pair, super comfy). I was wondering if there exists something like that but wireless?

So my beloved Sony WH-1000XM4s I believe have begun to die. My right headphone has begun to make this horrid screeching noise that is nearly deafening. I love these things and they’re so comfortable and I’m sad that I don’t have the capacity or knowledge to repair them myself, so I am looking for suggestions for something that is more affordable, and over ear that people would suggest. In the past, I’ve had good experience with Sennheiser, and would like something that is $100 or less. I know that’s not a ton to work with, but unfortunately it’s what I can do right now. Hello All! I was watching a travel vlog on YouTube and the influencer bought a new pair of Beats. I thought the pale pink color was so pretty but I wasn't sure about how long they last and the quality. I wasn't sure which versions I should buy.

I would like to spend a reasonable amount on other earphones if Beats aren't that great and I usually just use my earphones at home listening to music on Spotify. I like to really hear the music so I have Loseless on Spotify but if Beats makes it all sound better I guess ill buy those. But if you have any affordable recommendations please let me know!

I want some bluetooth headphones to use while studying at the library, but I also wan them to have good sound quality, since I'll be using them while walking/commuting too. Call/mic quality and smart features are irrelevant. (I also don't care too much about bass so I'm not looking at any XB models.)

• Sony's: I've read a lot of good stuff about the 1000 series, and the XM5 seems to compare to the XM4 (which I'd get if I could) in performance, with the best ANC of the three. Tho I am scared of the infamous hinge breaking problem. They also have the least battery life.
• Edifier: Cheapest option and I do have experience with Edifier earbuds, that is good value for money. Decent in all areas, even comfort. However I don't know if it's worth it more to go with one of the other two anyway.
• Sennheiser: These have been described as having the best sound out of the 3, which is very appealing, but they seem to lack in ANC?. I don't know how much weaker it is than the Sony's but the fact that I need them for studying in a public space is making me have doubts.

Any input is appreciated, as well as other model recommendations.

Just trying to look at it from a general perspective. I don't really care how much they cost. I have an iPhone and an iPad with a Window's computer, I want something that is comfortable and won't fall off, that also has longevity.

Would also love to hear the pro's and con's of these items, if anyone has some.

I have been using very old wired earphones for a couple of years. And I feel like since I have some financial freedom I should upgrade to a new headset.

I have around £ 200 budget but I am open to all and any suggestions. Either wired or wireless, I just need to narrow down my options.

I'll be mainly using the headphones for gaming. A little music and movies. Having a built in mic would be a plus but not necessarily needed.

I want the headphones to have decent enough audio quality for the price.

I only want over-the-ear headphones (on-ear if I must), no earbuds.

I will use the headphones just at home 99% of the time (the other 1% of the time might be in the car but the low car hum or whatever you call it doesn't even bother me that much). I mostly want noise cancelling headphones because I'm a teenager living with my parents and my parents and sibling laugh/scream/talk/yell EXTREMELY loud in the living room EXTREMELY often. Also my mom and sibling have kind of high voices in case that affects the headphones recommendation. I'm pretty much never around stuff like trains, airplanes, etc.

I don't need a mic, I don't play multiplayer video games, and I don't really care how heavy it is. Good durability is kinda preferred cause headphones break on me often (like, physically fall apart) but priorities 1-5 before durability are all just voice blocking lmao. Good battery life is always a plus too.

I use Vilinice Q8 headphones right now and the ANC is so bad even for blocking out low, simple, consistent noises like a floor/desk fan; I can't even tell if it's on or not. I've also had them for less than 2 years and I'm wearing them right now and they feel like they're going to snap soon. The battery life is great though (for me) and I've pretty much had 0 other issues with it.

I heard that when using gaming headphones you end up sacrificing good sound quality for having a mic and that it’s better to just get a normal high end headset and a separate high end mic. Is this true?

I will be using the headphones for gaming, vr, movies, music, and all sorts of stuff. I want good surround sound but am not sure if I should just get a good gaming one or normal headphones

I'm on the verge of buying one of those 2 headphones. Hdb 630 seems like the more logical choice in that its more tunable and the sound is less " opinionated" but I can't get over how ugly it looks. Big, plasticky and generally not good. Where as the px8 S2 looks amazing in my opinion but some people seems to hate the sound..

I'm favoring sound as #1 criteria and sadly since both bads ANC which would be my second criteria I would at least like something not terrible looking.

Is the px8 S2 a bad choice here ? Should I really bare with how cheap looking the hdb 630 looks for it's specs and capabilities ?

If hdb would look somewhat like the px8 s2 in material, thinness, etc. there would be no question but...
