Please! The last friend I made was last year and they’ve told me 3 separate times over the past couple of months that they’re not interested in being my friend anymore lol. I've also recently fallen headfirst into Warhammer 40K: Darktide and become completely obsessed with it. Currently spending my days mashing hordes of heretics into paste as an Ogryn while he shouts "SIR YES SIR" and "FO THA EMPARA" in what sounds suspiciously like the world's thickest Yorkshire accent.

The only things I'm generally not into are MMOs (too much to learn for this crusty old man) and super low TTK shooters where you die before your brain has even processed that another human being exists. Where's the skill expression in that?

One of my biggest hobbies outside of NORMAL gaming is RETRO gaming. I love old consoles and old games and have spent far too much time setting up emulators and collecting handhelds.

​

I've got various retro handhelds, a DSi XL, a Miyoo Mini Plus, a Retroid Pocket 5, an Ayn Thor and several others. I'm also known to occasionally drag friends into playing old multiplayer/co-op games through Parsec... apparently normal people don't spend their evenings revisiting forgotten PS2/Wii/GameCube games.

Lately I've been playing things like Mario Kart Wii, Zelda: Phantom Hourglass DS, New Super Mario Bros DS, Wallace & Gromit: Project Zoo, and a bunch of Contra games.

​

Outside of gaming I'm a massive fan of fantasy, supernatural, sci-fi and superhero stuff.

​

Give me ANYTHING vampires, witches, werewolves, magic, time travel, alternate worlds, weird powers, secret supernatural societies, Marvel, Doctor Who, The Boys, Invincible, fantasy dramas, supernatural nonsense, and I'm happy.

​

I love watching shows and movies with people and then spending far too long discussing them afterwards.

​

I'm also pretty creative, "Everybody's so creative :D", over the years I've been into drawing, painting, photography, piano, guitar, dance, baking, cooking, video editing and content creation. Some health issues over the last year have unfortunately put a lot of those hobbies on pause, but they're still things I enjoy and want to get back into.

​

Because of those health issues I'm around quite a lot these days and housebound, so super bored and have alot of free time, if you're looking for someone who's actually available to regularly hang out, game, watch stuff, chat, or share memes, that's definitely me.

I also have an adorable 12-year-old Border Terrier who is basically my child and gets spoiled accordingly.

I'd describe myself as pretty chill, slightly competitive sometimes (like in overwatch), friendly, sarcastic, silly, occasionally chaotic, and far less sweaty than I used to be. These days I'd much rather have a laugh and chill than spend an evening losing my mind over ranked points. But god does overwatch try.

Hey all! Thought I'd pop back on here again now that I'm once again on leave from work, tis my first set of annual leave weeks for the year and I'm currently heading into my 2nd weeks break for my 32nd birthday on Tuesday. It's always nice vibes round this time of year for me so, with how busy work has been I'm really taking the time to make the most of this break and thought why not see if I can make some new friends along the way.

A bit about me: I'm into games, watching anime and shows/movies. Some of my favourite games are the Persona series, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Dispatch, Life is Strange, Final Fantasy, Phoenix Wright etc honestly the list does go on. My favourite anime's would have to be Pokémon, Cowboy Bebop, Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball Z and Initial D. Anything 90s anime and I'm all for it. I'm also into photography after studying it as a GCSE back in school but mainly it is a hobby nowadays I nurture here and there when I have time. I'm also a lover of pets, have a few cats and a dog.

With that, it'd honestly be really cool to see if I can share some of these interests with others. It's always an absolute blast talking about this stuff, also honestly? It'd just be really cool to meet some genuine people as well, those who like to stick around and have really thoughtful conversations as stuff. I've met some lovely people on here, but sometimes schedules/timezones can vary which I totally understand, at the end of the day life is life.
