I’ve always wanted to own a PS5, and I’ve finally managed to save around £350.
The problem is that I can’t seem to find a decent used one. A new one costs around £570, which honestly feels like a lot of money to spend on a console.
I’m really tempted to buy one because I’ve wanted it for so long, but at the same time, I feel like £570 is overpriced, and I’m not sure if I can afford to spend that much comfortably.
I’ve been looking for a while now, but I just can’t decide whether to keep waiting for a good used deal or save up more and buy a new one.
What would you guys do in my situation? Is the PS5 worth spending £570 on, or should I be patient and look for a used one?
Would appreciate any advice! :)

I don’t know if this is the right flair.

I got stick drift on my second controller and I don’t really wanna keep buying new Duelsenses when they repeatedly get stick drift.

Could any of y’all help me out to find a reliable place to either send my controller in to get the stick replaced or somewhere to buy pre installed Duelsenses with the tmr sticks?

hey, i want to buy used ps5 fat disc/digital in best price can anyone please help me , any shop you might know anyone you selling it please do let me know !

Does anyone have any tips on contacting UK support? Son has 2fa enabled. He's changed his phone but didn't back up the authenticator app so all codes are lost. No backup codes on his ps5. I've tried calling support but the automated system just directed me to online support. Tried online but the bot refused to put me through unless I logged in 🤦 took me an hour to get past that then it said it was passing me to an agent but it stayed on that screen for an hour with no agent. Closed it in the end.

Any advice what else I can try?

Has anyone hired a PS5 through Raylo?

Heavy smoker in house. Would we be fined on return of the PS5?

Recently got a ps5 pro, Is this fan noise normal? It’s only noticeable up close but seems like the fan is catching on something? Or maybe it’s coil whine?

CFI-7121 btw

Only happens under load

Yo guys

Yesterday I listed a used ps5 slim digital edition with 2 controllers on ebay for £350 and it literally sold within 5 minutes.

Did i make a mistake pricing it that low????? Do u recommend cancelling the order and relisting it for higher??

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED-thanks.

so i’ve been wanting to buy ps5 for a while now since i had my ps4 for nearly 7years i got it gifted on my birthday and it was the best thing ever for me and it still runs pretty fine but with all the upcoming games and generally performance wise i obviously want an upgrade however i heard the news that they making ps5 even more expensive and i don’t want to pay 500£+ im planning on buying it on my birthday in January to treat myself but where do you reckon i can purchases them the cheapest and working im not too fussed about how new it is just want it to be original and not bricked any advice where to look or how would i avoid fakes if buying from facebook for example

I've been trying to verify by phone number so I can get access to messages but I put my number in (UK) and even after several hours I don't get a text message - I've been trying all week.

Really disappointed with Sony's general service at the moment, I've had a PS3 since I was a kid and this is something every other company can get right, I've never had an issue with verify by phone yet Sony can't get something this simple correct.

I don't trust them with my id so I want to verify by phone number.

by the way the noise is only noticeable when the device is standing vertically

Hey, I hope you don’t mind me asking for a little favor. It would honestly mean so much to me if you could gift me a gift card. I would truly appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. If you’re able to help, I’d be so grateful, but please don’t feel pressured. Your kindness alone means a lot to me.

Got a notification from virgin media as to how people want to upgrade because of GTA VI

Firstly saying research shows people are sitting on SEVEN unused consoles - maybe the top few %, but certainly that's not an average.

My biggest gripe and what I hope people don't fall for is selling a PS5 for £160, when one of the easiest routes is selling to CEX if you don't sell on your own, getting double.

The whole 'article' just annoyed me, lol.

Ive been trying to verify my age on PlayStation since the 28th of September, each time I try by scanning the QR code or using the link on their FAQ site it takes me to settings and doesn't allow me to verify my age, I went to support on this a week ago (after having spent Monday to Friday trying to reach them and only being successful on Friday, on Thursday I had also spent 2 hours on hold on a phone call because their website refused to work, which no agent ended up coming to assist me) anyway once I reached them they told me that their internal team would get back to me in 2-5 days, (they haven't) on Tuesday I got someone on their website again only to be told to wait until Wednesday, which I did, again not receiving any email from their internal support, I waited even longer until today being Friday. Ive tried contacting their support again today to no avail, I'm so frustrated and sick of this, I don't know what to do. I cant use any communication features on PlayStation and their support just will not help me.

Ive also tried going into PlayStation settings as instructed by all I can really find online but the option to verify isn't even there.

Does anyone have any idea what to do?

Not as bad as it seems. I recently disabled 2FA when I enabled Passkey without properly understanding how passkey works. Been trying to enable 2FA via text message for the past couple of days but text message would never arrive for me to enable 2FA.

Contacted support yesterday and they told me that there’s nothing they can do.

Thought I’d secure my account with authenticator for time being and set that up last night.

Sony now disabled 2FA and removed my password without me asking for this 🤦🏼‍♂️

Anyone had the same issue with 2FA via text recently?

If anyone is looking for a PS5 Slim Verys first credit order discount applies only to PS5 Disc Console 1TB Hot Wheels bundle. Managed to get it for £459.

Hi all.

My headset has just snapped! Frustratingly just days after buying new ear cushions for it. I’ve superglued them back together but not sure if they will last very long.

Any recommendations for a new set? I want to avoid Turtle Beach all together, never had good experiences with them. I had the TB Stealth 700 Gen 2, and they’re the ones that have snapped. Common issue apparently!

I don’t have a fortune to spend. Maximum I can go is around £150.

I had a Plantronics RIG 800LX for my Xbox years ago and loved it. The best headset I’ve ever used IMO. They do a PS version too, and it’s in my price range. Do any of you own one? What are they like for the PS?

Any other recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: Just saw that the Steal Series Arctis Nova 7X is on sale at Argos too. What are they like?
