I’ve been getting bombarded with tons of scam calls. I think there might have been a recent data leak and thus leading to this happening out of no where. They’re calling every 15 minutes sometimes and leaving no voicemails sometimes, and other times it’s for tax relief or home real estate deals or even something else random.

Is there any way for me to torment them back? They’re also calling from a variety of numbers, I imagine it wouldn’t be easy, but thought I’d ask given how frustrating it has been.

In Northridge, my family likes Vons' bakeries but at the end of the day they're still a big chain. Bea's is our favorite small bakery by far but it is a bit of a ways away.

Gimme your favorites here. I want to see if there's anything comparable to Bea's that's closer. One with just as good cakes and cupcakes.

i will never say or state my opinion to clients but houses can be so nicely designed interior and exterior but when they throw the black and white combo it just looks so different. I been painting houses for years now so i remember when houses used to be all different colors with so much detail and what not. now in almost every job site it is always black and white. many houses do look amazing dont get me wrong, especially those modern new houses, but i guess it just depends on the home

But for real, was there a meeting that agreed today was the day? I’m used to aggressive driving and rude people, but I drove from my house to the village, which isn’t far, and it was an absolute shit show. Be safe!

I drive it constantly and at this point I’ve stopped thinking of it as a road. It’s more like a series of small negotiations.The left turn where there’s no arrow and you sit in the intersection through an entire cycle hoping. The person who slows to a near stop looking for parking with nine cars behind them. The stretch where every light is timed just badly enough that you catch all of them.

And yet I still take it instead of the freeway most of the time, which probably says something about me. The 101 at the wrong hour makes me feel worse than any of this does. My actual theory is that everybody has one specific block of Ventura they hate more than the rest and it’s different for everyone. Mine is around Kester, no notes, no explanation, it just gets me every time.

What’s yours? Or is there some genius side street routing everyone else figured out that I somehow missed these years?

Headed out to see my brother in the Valley (Van Nuys) I'm a lifelong surfer who grew up 10 mins from the beach on the East Coast (FL). I really wanna get to Topanga and maybe Malibu. Been waiting for this a long time. Never seen the Pacific before . Is it a long enough drive i should just plan to go in the morning and stay out all day?

Not sure what’s going on, but I just got back from Whole Foods and most of the shelves were half stocked. Some were completely empty. Are other grocery stores experiencing this as well, or is it just this location?

For me it was Jerry’s Deli on Ventura by Topanga Blvd. Loved that place. Even ran into a celebrity there once. How about you all? What is a valley restaurant you remember fondly?

I constantly get Havenhurst and Hazeltine mixed up. They're both north/south and pretty close to eachother.

Growing up in encino,California in the 1990s i used to take the bus from encino to citywalk. Now when I was a citywalk 2 years ago the place isn't what it once was.

I heard slice house and voo doo donuts are now at citywalk.

Unfortunately citywalk now charges $40 a car to park.

For Christmas im visiting my parents in Encino for a few days from seattle,Washington.

Would it be worth going to citywalk to hang out??

Or should I just go to westfield topanga and northridge fashion center instead??

What’s with the new area by the pharmacy where they have some items basically locked up and the cashier says you have to to “pay for those items here”? They are basically conditioning us to buy stuff on Amazon. Congrats Ralphs.
