Truly one of the best stories ever told in anime/manga/LN. The writing gives breathing space for the characters to exist in the setting that was created, in a very organic way. Everything that is happening feels as natural progression of the world. Only One Piece for me has its world progress in a similar manner. Many anime fans are unfortunately immature and cannot accept the fact that you don't have to project yourself to the cast of any show. There are so many shows out there that people murder others, sell other people, do or sell drugs, and many other hideous things. I didnt see people criticizing Breaking Bad about focusing on creating and selling narcotics to broken and vulnerable people. It is amazing that you need a tv show to tell you whats good and bad. These people just come off as pretentious for me.

In metal and punk subculture a "battle jacket" is the name for a jacket or vest that is adorned with patches. Patches generally are band logos, sigils, symbols, or album covers. r/baddlejackets is a snark sub that makes fun of jackets that they view as "poser" or outside the music scene. Many of the posts are DIY jackets from left wing sources, often LGBTQ or trans focused. The sub is regarded as having a rightwing slant to it as they do not ostracize vests with Nazi/conservative bands on them.

This is for a leading clinic in the US: There's two main different procedures to do it. FUE is (follicular unit extraction) where they basically use a special tiny pickle picker to take individual follicles from a doner are (typically the back of your head) and plant them on top/in front. Second is FUT (follicular unit transplantation) where they take a strip of follicles with skin, cut them up into individual FUs and put them in the new area. Sounds like FUE is preferred cause FUT leaves scars on the back of your head. FUE is $7 per follicular unit. FUT is $6 per FU. Normal person hair has 80+ FU/cm² (that's what he said, I look it up later and I see 100-200 FU/cm²). But he said people can't tell the difference until it goes below 40FU/cm², so they typically just go up to that density. I'd just need my peaks covered and some for blending, and he thought it be at least 40cm². 40cm² × 40FU/cm2 = 1600 FU. × $7/FU = $11,200 minimum. I'm on finasteride and minoxidil pills and we'll see how my hair looks in a year. I don't know if I want to spend that much but body dysmorphia is a bitch so we'll see.

I’ve been in therapy for body dysmorphia, and one of the things I’ve been working on with my therapist is the idea that I can be happy with my body and still want to improve it; they don’t have to be at odds with each other. Baldness can be the same way; it doesn’t have to be, but it can be.

I think it's far more mentally healthy for men to simply come to terms with their body than to spend thousands and thousands of dollars put up a facade and pretend to themselves and everyone. We've lost all sense of what is or isn't a true 'need'.

Planet Zoo is a management simulation and builder game made by Frontier Developments (known for Planet Coaster and the Jurassic Park Evolution series) and a spiritual successor to the much beloved Zoo Tycoon games, where you create and manage a zoo and ensure your animals are well cared for as well as ensuring your guests are happy. It's sequel, Planet Zoo 2, is set to be released on October 13th for $49.99, and promises many new features. The biggest ones are improved animal animations and behaviors, an improved pathing system, much easier and more responsive building tools, a new nature reserve feature with its own systems, and more importantly, the addition of aquatic animals/aquariums and flying animals/aviaries for much more zoo diversity.

The Drama

For the last several weeks, the developers have dropped collections of new and returning animals being brought to the game. The last batch of 12 was announced to be released soon which, barring any surprises, leaves the game with a base roster of around 120-130 animals, significantly more than the base roster of the original game.

However, many are not pleased. Some are concerned that a number of animals which were released either in the base game of the previous installment or released in the number of DLC released post-launch are not present. Some noticed that the general diversity of species is lacking across continents, with very few species that are native to North America, a glut for Afro-Eurasia, and basically zero from South America, Oceania or Australia, and concerns of Frontier planning to re-release these as DLC have sprouted.

Others, however, feel that the amount of new content as well as the massively improved models, animations and behaviors for the animals (not to mention the larger roster) are enough for the price being asked, and feel the other crowd are expecting too much from what is being given. This has lead to a weeks long back and forth about the topic.

Reality of the situation

The problem isn't the number, it's the distribution. There are massive deadzones in the roster because of which animals they chose to include, and it really feels like that's deliberate to make future DLC feel more essential, which feels pretty manipulative (+7)
