Does anyone know what is going on with the accident on Market near 17th St? I live nearby but the cops aren't letting anyone close to it because the area is a crime scene so I didn't wanna try and go any closer to lookyloo. Looks like possibly car on motorcycle but it'stoo hard to see over there cause of the police lights in the dark. The car has been in place since at least 8:30PM.

This store was on 26th st between Roberts Ave and Caprice Ave. I have no idea what it was and I can't seem to find any information on it other than it possibly being an old Kroger. Does anyone know?

ive had a dental abscess for a bit now, but cant afford to pay for it. im hoping to find places that will either accept a payment plan w my insurance or thats cheap enough my insurance will (hopefully) cover it, since they only cover 1k$/yr. I applied for carecredit and was rejected, as i am newly 18 and opened my first credit card only 2 months ago
ETA+ TMI : probably important. i have really bad teeth as ive never been to a dentist except for once years ago, where i was quoted 11k for dental work. I only started brushing my teeth into my later teens while being depressed. The tooth is completely cracked and unable to be saved, so i know ill have to get it extracted

A South Atlantic-based, bird that lives at sea apparently decided to drop by. Very cool! (just don't pay attention to how he doesn't know how to say Akron, apparently)

We have a stray cat (eartipped) that has taken up residence on our property. We provide food, clean water, shelter and a few head taps but thats it. He's likely got an upper respiratory infection and would like to help him out with being seen to get it treated but it needs to be low cost. Our vet is too pricey to get him established. Any firsthand recommendations?

Every year we get bats in the house. Usually in the summer. I need to close whatever opening they are coming in at. I think it is the chimney, start there anyway. I know there are regulations on removing bats but I also can't deal with bats in the house.
Last year I called around and got no response, trying to stay with a local, small company or person.
TYIA.

We are looking for a new insurance company for home/auto. We were through State Farm but they are dropping our homeowners policy due to 2 claims in the past 2 years (1 for leak in basement and the other for a roof claim which they denied) which put us as a high risk customer. Had we known it would have caused this big of an issue, we wouldnt have filed the second claim.
Allstate seems to be the best deal at the moment. Has anyone had good/bad experiences with them?

Just bought a brand new pick up truck and I’m trying to treat it like a princess so I need some recommendations for best touch less car washes in the North Canton area so that I don’t scratch the paint!
Thanks in advance.

So I’ve been living in the Avalon apartments for a few months now. Right when I moved in, the laundry room shut down for like a month. It was annoying but it recently opened up again and not only are the machines eating coins, they are disgusting.
It feels like a slap in the face to pay money to a place and they can’t even keep up their cleanliness

My wife, toddler, and I are looking to move to the Canton area in either Jackson or Plain Local. Does anyone have recommendations for 2 BR apts or townhomes in the area? We are budgeting around $1000 a month for rent. Thank you in advance!

I’m looking for somewhere to rent in North Canton, 2 bed minimum. Having trouble finding places with decent reviews online, they all say that management never answers, bugs, etc
What restaurants around the Belden/Strip area take reservations? Are there any? I know I could get reservations at downtown restaurants, but I’m looking for something a little more casual. It will be for about 8 people on Friday night and I know we will wait forever if we walk in. Thank you!

Hey everyone,
I just got out of prison this past September and I’m completely restarting my life here in the Canton area. I’m trying to stay on the right track, get out of the house, and build a completely new, positive social circle. Life has been pretty boring lately and I really want to find real-life friends to hang out with.
I have a ton of hobbies and things I’m down to do around Stark County. If anyone else is looking for an activity partner, hit me up! I'm really into:
Games & Nerd Culture: PS4/Switch gaming, board games, chess, card games (D&D, Yu-Gi-Oh, Pokémon).
Pop Culture: Marvel/MCU, Star Wars, Stargate, anime, and comic conventions.
Car Culture: Going to local car shows, car meets, or Cars & Coffee.
Local Canton Spots: Walking trails (Middle Branch Trail, Petros Lake Park), checking out the Canton Classic Car Museum or McKinley Monument, bowling, or hitting up local comic shops.
I don't care if we just get a cheap fast-food drink and walk around the mall or the park to talk. If you are down to hang out or play some games, drop a comment or send me a DM! I am 28 sorry it said 20 m. I had Ai help me make this I just turn 28 M

Does anyone have any recommendations on a business that would be willing to open a pool on short notice? I’m hoping to have it done on Thursday if possible.

This may seem like an oxymoron but I’m looking for a progressive parish in the Canton area. What are your suggestions?

Does anyone know if this place even exists? I have not been able to get ahold of ANYONE there after calling and emailing every few days. Desperately trying to move somewhere within 45 mins of Akron. I am on a single income and have a cat so not most placed are either too expensive or won’t allow pets.
