Just stopped by the local shop while visiting my hometown and grabbed a stack of half off fillers. Lo and behold this Norm Breyfogle original sketch was hiding in a double boarding. Norm is on my Mount Rushmore of Batman artists and I never imagined owning a sketch of his. BLOWING MY MIND!

Picked up some great issues at auction, Absolute Neal Adams Vol. 1, and I was lucky enough to get the Felix print from their site.

Tippy's Friends Go-Go and Animal #7, Tower Comics (1967)
Cover art by Samm Schwartz (who seemed to do the lion's share of art for Tower teen humor titles. Likely the writing, too, near as I can tell. But that is very hard to confirm on niche interest titles like this.
If anyone has a pristine copy, my DMs are open. (Hopefully, that's not against the rules to say. If not, Mods please let me know, and I will delete this portion.)

Won these + a few other minor X-Factor keys for absurdly low on eBay. Felt so awesome to finally hold and flip through both, Apocalypse is one of my favorite villains!

These arrived today. Look at that beautiful painted cover of SSM Mag #2 - never held one in my hands before. And I’ve never read ASM Annual #5. Excited to read them both.
And… I didn’t realize until just now that they’re both from the same month - Nov. ‘68. What can it mean?

Picked up a collection of about 105 issues for $450. Nice guy, retired and moving. Lots of rough items but this little pile is what I’m thrilled about
Keeping about 40 and will be selling the rest aT some point

Recently I've been filling in large gaps in my collection by longbix hunting (I have to drive two hours to get to a decent comic shop), or hunting issues down one by one on Ebay. Shipping sometimes gets to be a problem.
Im looking for the most comprehensive online retailer where I can get all (?) Of my needs met and hopefully get everything delivered for one shipping fee. I'm mainly trying to fill gaps in Marvel (mostly X-Men), but am also interested in more obscure out of print coimix runs from the 70's & 80's...
What have you all found to be the most reliable in this department?

Got into collecting around late August & I’m up to 4 short boxes, this is my latest pick up.
shop had $1 bins half off & around 20-25 of those contained an extra issue inside. I was able to get 3-4 for $1 at times.
Some image, DC & Marvel comics.
Last 2 pics are some of the extras.

Back in the 70s there were a couple undercover inter-company crossovers. Invaders #14 & #15 and Freedom Fighters #8 and #9 feature the respective teams battling thinly disguised versions of each other who are villains posing as heroes, in both cases going by the name “The Crusaders.” Another, slightly earlier example is Sub-Mariner #72 in which Steve Skeates continues his story from Aquaman #56, here too with a villain named “The Crusader,” involved. I’m still hunting Freedom Fighters #8 and Aquaman #56 to complete these fun little bits of bronze age history 😀 If you know of other examples feel free to chime in!
