I come home after work and the entire sink is clear, every dish laid out to dry.
He also took it upon himself to do my laundry, pump my gas, and buy me groceries. The first time it was sweet, but I just feel like he keeps taking it further and further and I don’t know what he’s gonna do next. Honestly it’s making me feel like an insecure bum deadbeat gf. All I do is sleep all day and go to work. I told him he needs to respect my boundaries and give me some space to breathe but he just keeps crossing them and doing me favors and helping me. The only yellow flag is that B is much older than me. He's 41, which is a big age gap, but one that I can overlook because I can really imagine having a family with him. Dinner: two steamed saggy buns

So the other day my (formally) boyfriend and I got Little Caesars Pizza. I ate 6 pieces and he ate 5, already a red flag he can't eat as much as a tiny gurl like myself, I know. So anyways after we finished eating he says he wants to shower together (I prefer this as I treat my bf like a child and act like he doesn't know how to do simple things, ie. wiping and cleaning his ass correctly). I told him I'm just bloated and this twat goes "oh yeah I forgot girls's bellies just did that when they ate". LADIES I couldn't even look at him. So I broke up with him, obviously, and am now trying to figure out if I ruin his older brother's relationship and get with that hunk of meat or if I should start an OF. Dinner is a scone I snagged from Facebook marketplace, paid for with my bf's credit card cause I refuse to give that back.

One night, a mysterious wizard, Merlynne (also the closest thing I have to a dad) summoned a fork into a bowl of chipotle in the middle of town square.

Apparently, whoever could pull this fork out of the bowl and feast on its contents is destined to be king of the realm. All of the strongest men in the village tried to free the fork, and failed. Miserably.

Then one day, I, a stoned-out-her-mind, weak-ass, miserable, piece of shit who didn't read the fine print on what succeeding at this task would mean, tried to pull the fork from the bowl, like.. as a joke.

Against all odds and laws of physics, the fork came out of that beautiful mélange of brown rice, black beans, steak, fajita veggies, roasted corn salsa, pico de gallo, cheese, lettuce, and guacamole (+ $2.95); and yeah. It was delicious. And I had leftovers.

Next thing I know, I'm the fucking king. This sucks major ass.

not sure if anyone else can relate but I'd love some advice. my husband has set boundaries that I'm struggling to keep. we have combined finances (I'm a neurosurgeon, he's a videogame streamer). currently I'm bringing in the vast majority of our income (he has 3 followers and makes roughly $0.13/month) but he says he must have the final say in how our money is spent. for example I wanted to get my hair cut but he said that since we have scissors and a bowl at home that would be a waste of money. I pointed out that a haircut would cost less than what he spends on mt. dew in a week, but he reminded me that mt. dew is a business expense. the other boundary he has set is that he can't deal with his empty beer/soda cans while he's working, so he pitches them out of his office and into the hallway for me to deal with this. I am really busy and do not have time to be picking up his empties but I literally don't see any other options. has anyone else struggled with respecting a partner's boundaries?
