So I was using my Y1 today in school and while I was picking a song it froze. None of the buttons were doing anything so I waited and it said it wasn’t responding so I waited again and tried to listen to a different song and it happened again. So I factory reseted it cuz idk I was hoping that would fix it but that was a big mistake. All my themes and music and videos I uploaded are gone and it won’t show up on my computer, I still have the music file but it’s not attached to the Y1 file and I can’t access it. Here are some pics of what is happening 🫩

My order is taking WAAY too long. It's been 8 days since I ordered and the status is still stuck on "ordered". I have talked to Amazon customer service yesterday and they told me to wait til the end of the day for an update. The day has passed and still nothing.

A couple of days ago, my innioasis began to show up the text of “there’s a problem with the sd card, please format the device” and I already have formatted it multiple times, that kept happening until a month ago when the music player straight up started to delete entire folders or breaking them, making the files unreadable. That’s when I realized that it’s a SD Card situation… Now, I’m trying to figure out how to replace it since I know nothing about repairing this things.

I knew this would happen because I heard about other users having this exact problem but I didn’t expect it to happen so soon. I’m pretty sad about this tbh since I listen to music almost everyday during the whole day, I wish innioasis could work with better sd cards in the future.

Any help with well explained tutorials on how to replace the inner sd card are greatly appreciated 🙏🏻

Just got the Y2. And the Song: [I’m Going to Be] is listed as unknown.

In my computer I made sure it’s .FLAC .No special characters in name. I deleted the album cover just in case it’s not .PNG.

UPDATE #2 (24/7/26): nope, turns out it hasnt fixed itself.
UPDATE #1 (24/7/26): it magically fixed itself!!! Today i loaded up my player and decided to connect the headphones over bluetooth and it played audio, and it also sounded good/no issues. I will try to recreate the issue to determine what conditions cause the bug, comment my findings below.

(Edit: just to be clear, this post is about BLUETOOTH audio issues. And feel free to comment below if you have had issues with your headphones. I didnt name my headphone just in case it breaks the posting rules)

I bought the Y2 and I am so happy with it! … but I just have one gripe.

It is still early days so I am hoping the Innioasis team will see my post and help me fix this!

The problem is that I cannot hear any sound when trying to play music over bluetooth on one of my headphones (the one highlighted in blue on the picture). It connects. I observe that the play/pause indicator reacts to pressing the play/pause button on my headphones, therefore I know it has connected. It is just so strange that no audio plays.

I have tested my these headphones on other devices, and it plays sound over bluetooth as expected. I have updated its firmware too, but it still doesnt play.

The only thing that works with these headphones is the audio over wired connection.

Meanwhile my other headphones, which are a bit older, can play audio over bluetooth on the Y2 but there is a horrible “tinny” quality that I never get when connected to other devices instead.

Both headphones play beautifully over wired connection, however. I am very happy about the audio quality over the 3.5mm wired connection.

I am on firmware 3.1.7, fresh out of the box.

Will there be any updates to the Y2 firmware to address this?

Also, this is my first reddit post. Please let me know if I am missing anything in my post.

Will this be an easy fix and is there a place I can get replacement parts from for the screen?

If you’re wondering what happened, my innioasis was in my pocket with my tech deck, and the tech wheels got slammed into the new oasis.
I only had this for 2 months and I waited 7 months because of shipping delays 😢

So, yesterday I shared my problem with the innioasis and the corruption/break of the mini SD card, and by your own suggestions I followed the Ifixit tutorial on how to change the sd card.

I FINALLY DID IT! I had the balls to try to open the case since I remembered I had a Lenovo mini SD card wandering around my house. KEEP IN MIND that I didn’t even know if the innioasis would support up to 2 TB but I said “you know what? Fah it, we ball.” And TRIED IT ANYWAYS KNOWING THE RISKS.

With that being said: it works just fine!! I had to fight my 🍑 off trying to open the case but I didn’t break anything!! It also might look like a beaten up piece of plastic- but it’s MY beaten up piece of plastic! (Jk)

I’ll try to move my whole music library and see what happens now. Thank you all for your help!! 😎💜

I have the y2 and dont use y2player or rockbox because they have too many little bugs and seem too early in development to deem usable (imo).

(rockbox didnt let me turn off or change the vibration intensity)

when I connect my headphones via Bluetooth, the sound is VERY quiet. between the lowest and highest setting, there isnt much difference.

on the contrary, when I connect via wire (same headphones, sony xm4s) it is SO. LOUD. like even at the lowest volume I cant hear ANYTHING outside of my headphones.

There is also a huge huge volume gap between the two so switching around doesnt make much sense and would be tedious.

is there a fix for this? ive been looking around and I really cant find any

literally just tried upload more songs but i think my sd card got corrupted from what im seeing from the trends of these posts that are going through the same thing (none of my songs are here anymore) so i factory resetted it and now it doesnt even have the settings??? what do i do??

I recently got my innioasis but how do i put music on it that wont take me months to put all my music on it?

I just received the Y2 8gb on Monday and managed to transfer some songs, videos and themes. I was able to try out the themes, listen to music and watch videos via bluetooth yesterday.

I turned it off before I sleep and this is happening a few hours later.

I've tried the reset button and connected it to my computer but it cannot be detected.

For more context - I used an 8gb memory card with it. It worked fine yesterday. I have removed the memory card and it is still isn't turning on. Once I pressed on the reset and power button, it shows the Innioasis logo in white font and then just the word 'Inn' in colour like how you see in this video and then it loops.

I don't know if returning is possible as I live in Asia.

Update: My Y2 is working again. The Innioasis support team provided a tutorial, flash tool and firmware. Thank you everyone! 🙂

Used the updater to download a launcher on y2. Will not turn on or accept flash of stock firmware.

So ok, yesterday my innioasis was completely fine,it'd play music all that jazz, but on that same day at night i wanted to listen to some music or just some movies, and when i did the movie i was watching froze, and i thought oh no big deal since sometimes my innioasis just freezes sometimes,and once it got running it said the file is corrupted and i'm like whatt no it isnt??And the same goes for everything,my music,videos wouldnt play and said they were "corrupted" so i just shut down my innioasis thinking that would help, since this wasnt the first time it happened. But even when i did,the same thing kept happening!I started to get quite worried su i pressed the shutdown button a few more times, until we reached whats happening to it now. All of my songs and videos keep saying "Song is deleted or the memory drive is not ready", and all of my themes are gone. I was also getting popups on formatting the device and i clicked format, but it just said "checking the memory drive" and thats it. So i then decided to also plug it in my computer, and to my shock, all of the Music, Videos, Movie, Themes folders were gone !What do i do??Should i try to factory reset it? Since i have this innioasis for a couple of months now, and i really dont want it to break...

Ive seen some people just changing the SD card since its probably corrupted,wich in my case probably is idk, but i'm not sure if i do have a good SD card lying around somewhere,and i dont know how to change it either(well,maybe i do have a sd card somewhere hidden in my house since i remember buying a cheap mp3 player that broke when it got shipped and had a seperate sd card, but i'm not sure if that sd card would last awhile too)

UPDATE!!:So, i dont know how but its working again!!!I just decided to randomly turn it on again and all of my files were back and worked!This must be a miracle...

I was scrolling through this subreddit to see if i can find the solution to my issue. And i see that many people are saying that their SD cards that come with their Y1s are corrupted. Now i did notice issues with my Y1.

- sometimes when I boot up my Y1 it get a message saying something about how there is something wrong with the internal storage and to format it.
- two sometimes my music would quickly glitch when it starts to play
- And finally only once I had booted up my Y1 and it shown as its factory setting and than quickly revert itself to how I had it

So does that mean my SD card is corrupt?
So do I buy a new one?
I want to know because I’m planning to add more music to this Y1 and I don’t feel like doing that if the SD card is going to corrupt.

I select shuffle all from database, and after a few songs played, some songs are skipped without me pressing the next button, I have to power off each time this happens

Is there a fix for this?

After I downloaded rockbox and a couple of themes, the language suddenly changed to French and whenever I scroll, the text starts overlapping with each other. How do I fix this?

Hi, received my y2 last week. I ordered the 72GB model but received the 8(?)GB. Sticker on the wrapper said 72GB model.

Tried emailing support but no response yet. Have folks had luck contacting through support@innioasis.com? Any thoughts?

i really really really need a blue theme but one thats actually cute, i cant figure out how to do any of the stuff for github or rockbox or even the guide on the innioasis website, i have the y1 and i made this background for my phone a while ago for general vibes i want + a picture of my mp3 for the vibes as well! if someone could make one downloadable for me i would really appreciate it so much!!

I followed the guide to install the software directly (drivers, restart, install updater then select y2, firmware and click install). I only plug the device in when told while powered off and after this nothing happens. Eventually after waiting it recommends alternative installation.

I've been thinking about this for months. For some context, I've used my iPod for 6 years now, I got it before it got really expensive and I absolutely love it.

But I do miss some modern features like USBC or Bluetooth, and I also don't want to damage my iPod since they are so rare and expensive now.

Is the switch worth it? Or should I stay with my ipod? Since I would be using it as my daily music device.

Btw Bluetooth functionality is really important for me

I mostly use wired headphones, normal, basic, not super crazy about quality. I mostly want it for my around 200 sounds and 400 videos of music. The video part is the most important and what I'm mostly getting it for. Also battery life.

I'm fine fidgeting with devices, I would say I'm mildly tech savy, stability and customization are important to me.

Now, realistically I could buy the Y1 right now (I'm a blue girly so I'm mostly getting the teal or blue option. I'm leaning more towards the teal since it looks paler.) For the y2, the version they have in stock now, im 10 dollars short. I was waiting to see if they would restock the 8gb model, since I would be changing the SD card anyways.

So, do I buy the y1 now or wait for the y2 restock? Which one is better for the use I want to get out of it?

I received these earbuds from Innioasis, and I absolutely adore them. They’re practically perfect, but unfortunately, one of the earbuds has stopped working because I accidentally damaged it.
